Kelly has done a great job taking care of my dogs and training them as well. One of my dogs was a rescued cattle dog mix that likely was not well socialized as a pup. She's very attached to our other dog, but constantly picks fights with unfamiliar dogs. Taking them anywhere has been difficult, but Kelly was more than up the task of socializing my stray and breaking them out of their pack mentality. After a few weeks of working with them, I took them to the dog park and was amazed at the difference. Right away a dog rushed at them, and they leisurely trotted over, sniffed him, and sauntered away. Kelly's caring and patience has made a huge difference for my dogs! UPDATE to my original glowing review of June 2014: My injury healed but Kelly is so wonderful and has bonded with my Dempsey that I continue to use her services. She is so caring and treats every dog like her own pet. I was walking Dempsey off leash in September, at dusk, and he ran off (likely after a squirrel!) After an hour of walking in circles in the woods, calling his name, it was becoming dark and I was frantic. Out of desperation I called Kelly. She came to the trailhead with a heavy duty light and walked with me, whistling and calling for him. Thirty minutes later, he came out of the woods and I was so relieved! This shows how far above and beyond Kelly is. She is fabulous. June 2014:I'm so thrilled that I met Kelly earlier this year. I adopted a very big, energetic 2 yr old Lab. We enjoyed our daily hikes until I fell and broke my ankle in May! Kelly has been a lifesaver. She takes our big guy out 3-4 times per week and he always comes home exhausted and happy! Recently I went (on crutches) to our local dog park...a lady spotted my dog and recognized him from visits with Kelly. She went on to tell me how active and playful he is when he's there with Kelly and the other dogs. She said to me "Kelly isn't like the other dog walkers that sit here and read. She's out there running and playing with the dogs." I was so happy to hear that unsolicited "review" from another dog owner. Even once I'm healed and hiking again, I'll still call on Kelly for regular play dates for Dempsey. read more

Kelly has been taking care of my eight-year-old Australian Shepherd for six years, and also my toy Australian Shepherd who is three since she was four months. She walks them three times a week, and also cares for them when I'm on vacation. When I'm on vacation it's like they're on vacation too. They get to go to work with her every day which is not work for them. And she loves them like they were her own. I can't say enough about Kelly. I think the thing I like best about Kelly if she knows each of her dogs and their temperaments. I don't know how she does it she is like a dog whisperer, they listen to her and she's definitely the pack leader. read more

We met Kelly two months ago and she takes our dog two days a week for play dates. Kelly is so reliable and flexible, she makes it easy to leave for the day knowing our dog is taken care of. Our dog listens to Kelly more than us! The training component is so helpful. We love to receive pictures of our dog and see her socializing with other doggies. Our girl is very shy, and Kelly and the other pups have made her more social. We have not used her yet for housesitting, but we hope to one day soon! read more

UPDATE: Our big dog had to go through 2 surgeries this past year and it was such an ordeal. When he was ready to start his "rehab" Kelly was fantastic. We have used Kelly's services to housesit and care for or three cats. Kelly clearly has a special way with animals as even our shyest cat was hanging out with her. (Kelly texted photos so that we could see this remarkable experience.) Kelly is communicative and efficient at managing our home. Kelly was also willing to do whatever was needed while we were gone: hand watering plants, taking out trash cans, & figuring out sprinkler systems to name a few. View to an updated review! It's been nearly a year since rating Kellys Klub K9 service. Yet much has happened to suggest that there is new cause for additional comments. Since switching jobs, Rocco has had to bare the brunt of the change. Both of our schedules changed so dramatically our options were being limited. We have come to rely on Kelly more as a surrogate mom. Kelly stepped up to the plate when limits to our abilities exceeded our ability to keep Rocco. Kelly is amazing. I started using her for my labrador walks and she's fantastic. She sends pics and lets me know how he's doing. She'll let me know updates if he gets dirty,etc and cleans him up. I have known Kelly for over 30 years... She is a very kind and caring person and her love for animals is over the top. She has put her heart and soul into her business and her clients are very lucky to have her. My dogs are always in wonderful hands with Kelly. She has been watching my 3 retrievers for the past 5 years and when they are with her I never have any concern. It really makes for a worry free getaway. They are at home with Kelly, she always treats them like they are her own...she is very loving and nurturing towards them. When she is watching them on an overnighter she often sends pictures of them running about or just cuddled up on the couch so I know they are well taken care of and happy.
