After 5 years of trying to find the right pitching advice that actually improves my pitching, I have definitely found the right place. They focus on the simplest mechanics, that help improve your pitching in a short amount of time. After going through 6 pitching instructors, I ended up doing my first lesson here during my junior year. I found out that there was something off about my mechanics and could have been potentially harmful if I had kept at it. Not only that, but it was affecting my velocity too. During the first lesson, Brandice (one of the instructors) worked with me for a half hour about breaking my bad habits. She was super nice, and was extremely encouraging even if I did something wrong. This place has a great atmosphere, and even though it is a little expensive and an hour away from where I am, it is completely worth going to! read more

My daughter has been going to Planet Fastpitch for about 1, 1/2 years now. She has grown and learned so much in just a short period of time. She was regarded as an average player with an average contributor to her team. Now, she is a top player and a huge contributor to her softball team. Her hitting has improved tremendously. The instructors are the most knowledgeable and most down to earth people who really connect with the athlete. The Facility is huge, lots of room, and up to date with the latest equipment. This is the best facility in the RI, MA area. read more

Planet Fastpitch, New England's largest exclusive fastpitch softball facility, offers professional instruction, state-of-the-art training equipment, speed and video analysis, and a number of specialized programs for individuals, groups and teams. PFP operates inside a 12,000 sq. ft. facility with 5 spacious batting cages, an open pitching area, a 100 foot distance lane, a training room, 3-on-3 competition court, strength training area, a video lab classroom, a spectator loft, a snack area and free wifi. Established in 1997.

In October of 1997, Denise Davis and her dog Nike opened the doors to Planet Fastpitch inside of a small facility in Rhode Island.
