I love the atmosphere here. We always feel comfortable working out here. I don't feel that I am being watched. I may not be the best at exercising but I don't care. I like the black card experience and the water massage. They have tanning and full body machines that I don't use. Staff is always friendly, no matter the time of day that I am there. read more

Machine out of order, crowdmeter about 5 bars low, and to many people. I was unable to do my usual workout and due to crowds could not do the hydro cool down. I've been a member here for a few years and things have not improved. read more

Never been deny access to planet fitness. Never have I ever been asked to take a photo for a profile. I've been in Michigan for 2 Weeks and travel mostly to all of them, and never was deny access due to profile photo. They surly don't ask for identity when they're debit out your funds every month. I really feel that I was racially profile by the general manger Justin Bates; who looked at me in such disgust as if I should've been there. Wow! Terrible. For all my Black female truck drivers be aware of this gym. Couldn't even shower or work out before I head back to Georgia. Sigh. We need change !!! read more

I love this clean, spacious location, and I am always happy that it is such a deal. The staff here is friendly, too. I am fairly staid in my workouts. I go here for 15 minutes walking on a treadmill, a round of the circuit in the middle of the gym, and then 15 minutes more in a stationary bike. With how this location is set up, I sometimes add in a couple of other machine exercises, too. I love how easy it is to walk in here, stash my gear, and get started. This location has a huge parking lot as it is in an old grocery store, so you never have a hassle getting in. I hope that they continue to keep it clean and maintained to this level as it is a good addition to our community. read more

Stopped by here today to check it out. I didn't even know they were open yet. My daughter needs to do some pre-hab before surgery and instead of paying co-pays 7 times a week we figured getting her a membership here and paying $10 a month was more fiscally responsible. We were greeted by Ty at the door and he showed us around the place and gave his sales pitch. He was very knowledgeable and wasn't aggressive about trying to get us to sign up. The gym itself is well equipped and well organized. We plan on going ahead and getting our daughter a membership here, I'll update my review once I have a little more experience with the staff and equipment. Place was packed though, they are off to a good start IMO. read more

This is the best Planet Fitness that I have ever been too! (and I've been to many PFs in the South - East part of Michigan) Nico takes fantastic care of this place & its equipment - it feels like I'm walking into a 5 star hotel! There's not a spec of dust on any of the equipment! (I see an employee dusting & cleaning for hours while I workout.) The locker rooms are neatly organized & clean! The showers & toliets are well maintained & comfortable to use. To top it off, the Black Card Zone (lounge) is outfitted with nice, comfortable chairs & tables to just relax in while using your phone. Enjoy the Black Card Member's equipment in the same relaxing area with soothing music playing in the background. You'll feel like you're in Heaven when you visit this great place! read more

Huge space with lots of workout equipment layed out across one large main room and 3 side rooms. I previously worked out at Powerhouse gym. Planet Fitness is an upgrade. The locker rooms are clean and neat. The showers, toilets and dressing rooms are located on the westside of the locker room. There are plenty of lockers and space to place personal belongings while changing your clothes. The locker room is cleaned and floors mopped on a regular basis. The staff is extremely helpful especially Diamond and a few other employees. She is friendly outgoing and greets everyone with the prettiest smile. PF offers excellent workout packages. You must have a checking account for your monthly membership dues to be deducted. The only complaint I have is the cost of $18 for a one day guest pass which is outrageous. Once a month non black label members should be allowed to bring a guest for free. What does it hurt to have more people frequenting the gym? My last complaint is the 30 minute without section is under utilized and needs to go away. There needs to be more pushup bars with benches. Currently there are four and they are always occupied the gym can use 4 more of these pieces of equipment. The parking lot is private and plentiful. read more

I started coming this Planet Fitness since I moved to another part of town. Walking in, everyone greeted us and was very friendly. The equipment is well maintained and cleaned and everything is well organized. I've been coming here almost a week and really look forward to the hydromassage chair after my workout! Still looking for a good location pre/post work and I'm at the new location which used to be a farmer jack (?). Inside it's sunny and new with high ceilings and great lighting, plus the black card section is nice. Only problem is it's too good of a location. Its right on the main street, right of the freeway and next to almost everything Belleville has which makes it a huge headache to get in and out of. Great for off hour sessions but terrible for other times. read more

I like this planet fitness location. The staff is friendly and so is the overall gym community. The locker rooms and bathrooms are always kept stocked and clean as well. I've never had any issues with the exercise equipment malfunctioning either like I did at some of the other locations. For sure check this PF location out. read more

I had high hopes for this location. It has a nice variety of newer machines. Unfortunately, it brings me great dismay that the staff is completely unprofessional. The management staff is rude especially Manager ,Brittany. Her customer service was strident to say the least. I'll drive a little farther for better customer service! read more

I recently moved to Michigan from New York and i have been to 8+ locations. I decided to go to this location today and couldn't have been more happy and pleased. The reviews from others were spot on. The facility is big and they do an excellent job keeping all the equipment in great condition and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I like gym, but they don't have free training like other planet fitness gyms. The girl shirt say trainer, but she said she's just a instructor. She just tell how the machines work. I find this to be false advertising. I would give better reviews if they had a real trainer. read more
