My daughter joined a few months ago, and I tagged along with her a couple of times...one of the nice benefits of the Black Card membership is that you can bring a friend. After liking my experience going with her, I decided to get my own Black Card membership, since there are times I want to go when she's not going. I've been here several times since and can recommend this PF. They've managed to get away from the typical negative stereotypes around gym membership. First, you pay month to month, so there's no ongoing commitment or contracts that are impossible to get out of. $25/month seems like a very reasonable amount to pay considering what all you get. If you join and decide it's not for you, just stop, There's a mix of all different types of people at different points in their fitness journey coming here. I've never seen anyone here who appears to feel uncomfortable just trying to find their place. The Black Card benefits are great. Completing a workout with time in the chair/bed massage area is great. Also, staff is always at the front desk, and everyone is friendly. I haven't visited any other location yet, but it's nice to know that feature is included in the monthly fee. read more

I'm a big fan of Planet Fitness. I used to belong to Life Time Fitness but they kept jacking up their rates. It got to the point that it almost reached 10x the cost of PF's monthly fee. With the black membership, you get access to the Red Light Therapy, Tanning Beds/Booths, Deep Tissue Massage Chairs, and Hydro Massage Beds/Chairs. This alone is worth the $25 per month for the black membership. Staff is friendly and the place is super clean. read more

Do not ever sign up here. This place is fraudulent and predatory. I wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I signed up for memberships and decided to cancel later that exact SAME DAY due to our discomfort with some of the policies. The front desk staff sent us cancellation paperwork for both of our memberships (which I have proof of) and guaranteed we would not be charged any further. Our BANK ACCOUNT was then fraudulently charged 2 days later for one of the memberships and a few days after that our credit card was charged for BOTH memberships. For services we cancelled and never once used. Immediate red flag #1 should've been that they require you to provide a routing and accounting number for your bank account, on top of a credit card. We immediately reached out to the facility to request refunds and have been fighting tooth and nail to get our money back ever since. It has now been over a dozen phone calls and 3 in-person visits and while the $15 charged to our checking account was reversed, no money has been returned to our credit card. In these 3 weeks, the club has already changed over management, so the manager we've talked to nearly a dozen times ("Caroline") who repeatedly fed us lip service about how we "just needed to wait for the money" because it would "take 7-10 day business days" (mind you, it has been over 3 weeks now), is no longer managing there. We then had to re-explain the entire situation to the new manager who told us our money was refunded and it, in fact, has not been, so this is a lie. Every time we call, we're fed the line of "we'll look into it and get back to you tomorrow" which has been a false promise many times over. This week when we called again two more times, we were then told to call over to a different club off of Arapahoe Road to try to get in touch with the new manager because she is between clubs. That club had no idea who she even was and the manager there told us that they don't even have the power to get us our money back and we would need to dispute with our bank, so we wasted 3 weeks being polite and patient for absolutely no reason. So they are authorized to steal our money from us, but not to give it back?? The amount of runaround, lip service, misinformation, and general lack of care that this staff has shown us is beyond disappointing. Do not ever sign up here. They will put your bank account info in their system, steal your money, and give you endless runaround until there's nothing you can do but dispute the charges and fight for yourself through your bank. I now have to find the time to visit our bank, dispute the charge, and change all of our banking info for a $40.40 charge that should have been easily and immediately returned to us. As a busy and pregnant mom, I do not have the time and energy for this but now have to invent the time so we prevent further fraud. This business is unbelievably shady and scummy. I don't understand how any company can operate like this in good conscience in this day and age. I will be reporting this facility to the BBB and FTC and sharing this experience on every review platform to warn others. read more

I love this gym! Customer service is great, facilities are great. Members are mostly great, respectful & clean. The facility is very clean! The workout machines have all been recently updated & they're great! My only complaint is that they got rid of the reservation computer for the Black Card rooms. read more

Came for a quick workout. It was nice. People were enjoying the nice weather so the gym wasn't as crowded. I could work out on a stairmaster and then the floor for yoga. Parking right up front too! read more

Great place to work out, BUT Im being stopped at Check in at the facility at the front desk every other time I go to the facility being asked to add a 2nd form of payment for the 9.00 monthly fee I pay that is automatically deducted from my bank account. I've asked the front desk to have this notification be removed so I don't get stopped and questioned for another payment source but I still get stopped at check in And the front desk explaining to me they need a second payment source just in case The bank source doesn't go through for the 9.00 dollars. really getting annoyed! I've had this account for 4 years with the automatic withdrawal of 9.00 and it's never failed and Im still ask. The last thing I need is to have two payment sources my bank routing information and a credit card on file for a 9.00 automatic payment. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Planet fitness has notorious cancellation policies that require you to come in person or send a certified letter to your home club, or where you sign up at. I signed up in Castle rock but moved an hour away. I stopped in to downgrade my membership because I just wasn't using the black card member benefits and Brad the club manager at this location was very polite and professional. I went into it expecting to be irritated by the whole interaction (my fault I know) but he took care of me and I instantly felt bad about any attitude I may have had. FREE SUMMER 14-19 Year Olds??? Unfortunately, all this has done is brought a lot of teen-agers to the club (Castle Rock) who aren't necessarily interested in exercising as much as they are standing around, on their phones, taking up equipment your paying customers who are serious about their fitness are trying to use. They cluster in groups of 5+ and do nothing but waste everyone's time. I applaud you if your intent was to get kids exercising but you put little thought into how this would affect the flow of the club and crowding. You should've limited this to a certain # per club or confined it to off-hours during the day. Open access to any 14-19 year-old for the entire summer will drive people like me to find an alternative gym in the near future and probably long term.  Sorry if I sound like a scrooge but I had to try to navigate groups of teens crowding equipment this morning so they could show each other TikTok videos and essentially make fun of the older crowd at PF that come there to get away from being judged. We got a the most expensive pass at planet fitness for my wife and I assuming I can use the guest pass every time we workout together. They said we couldn't use the red light or tanning bed as a guest for liability reasons even though you agree on the a waiver liability creating an guest account which we were not told nor aware of signing up assuming we both could use all faculties in the gym. I wasn't too pleased since we decided on this vs 24 hour fitness and then the front desk person Eric snickered and laughed too his co worker also running the desk which was as much bullshit as a fat man running the front desk of a gym. This is a great place to work out. Friendly staff, great equipment, amazingly clean and all around a great place to have a membership. The Black membership is definitely worth it. Full access to any PF, tanning, massage chairs and the ability to bring a guest any time. If your considering joining a gym, I would highly recommend planet Fitness! read more

REDUCED PRICE COMES WITH REDUCED SERVICES... It really is true that you get what you pay for. We left 24 Hour Fitness - just a few miles away - for cheaper monthly dues. We thought we weren't using all the services so why pay for them... What we didn't consider was the we were also paying for better customer service, a cleaner facility, much more attention to detail and staff who address an issue. I would actually pay extra at this Planet Fitness to NOT have staff shrug when asked a question... I'm really reconsidering our decision. 7/20 - So opened an e-mail this morning from Planet Fitness informing members that that the would be closed all day next week for a "photo shoot." So my daily routine will be disrupted to accommodate some sort of advertising schedule of theirs. I am so confused by this business. I'm too busy to have to consider whether they are open or not. Man, been waiting for a minute for this place to open and it finally did this month. I'm loving this gym! I dig that it's 24/7 - I pay a bit more for the ability to utilize their tanning and hydromassage bed and even then my membership is only $21/month - WELL worth it! The hydromassage bed alone is worth it, I love doing this after my workout. The gym itself is busy every day but it's so big it never feels too crowded. There's plenty of equipment and space. The workers even while inundated by new folks signing up daily are helpful and attentive. Im super glad I joined this gym and it's already helping me get ready for them summer bod goals! read more

I travel around the country and this fitness chain works well for me. They are always clean and very available.

Love the location, ample parking. The facility - gym floor, restrooms, etc are clean, maybe more attention to showers. They have very affordable membership rates, including the Black card membership. They have small lockers right near check-in with built-in number locks to place small bags and valuables. There are bigger lockers available in respective locker restrooms. They also have group fitness classes which are included in membership dues. Also, they have accessories to purchase- earphones, backpacks, locks, etc. Friendly staff, but they do mostly have a very 'blah' look on their face; and then sometimes they are just standing around talking with each other. read more

I'll start by admitting that I never viewed the Planet Fitness franchise as a serious gym because of their pizza Tuesdays and doughnut Wednesdays (or something along those lines) and their "no gym-timidation" thing. I stand corrected. This gym has everything you need, is super clean, and has the friendliest and most polite staff I've probably ever met (but without being robotically friendly). I had also heard of their "no judgment" thing which I had admittedly rolled my eyes at first (not that I wanted to judge people; I just found it strange and unnecessary), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it somehow created this nice vibe, and everyone of all shapes, sizes, and abilities seemed comfortable. I can honestly say there is no better gym in castle rock than planet fitness! I love the at atmosphere here and that I don't feel intimidated. I've been going to 24 hour fitness for years and never felt like I could do free weights because it was too intimidating. I love everything about this place! 21 dollars a month is a killer deal when I get tanning and massages included! I do wish they had child care but other than that this place is great. read more

I live in Castle Pines and almost joined 24 hour fitness because it's a few minutes closer. But the parking lot is packed even at two in the afternoon and it's not a very big gym. On top of that, I moved here from Fort Lauderdale where they closed the 24 hr fit. gym because they've been in bankruptcy since 2019. Had a Costco membership with them and they told me "go get your refund from Costco". Anyway, fantastically surprised by the planet fitness gym in Castlerock. Never crowded. You might occasionally wait for a bench but at most a couple of minutes and everyone is respectful. The stretching area is really nice! Wide variety and rarely more than a few people using it. how do they stay in business for 10 bucks a month? Happily will pick my way through traffic and stop lights for a couple of miles for this experience. By the way, I'm 64 years old and don't feel out of place at this planet fitness in any way. And a delightful staff. Lastly, The men's restroom is always spotless! 30 years of belonging to health clubs and that's a first. read more

I would agree that you get what you pay for. I was extremely excited to be going to a new gym. Moved to Elizabeth and my options were few. I left Chuze fitness loving working out. I cancelled my membership yesterday because being apart this gym made me cringe working out. With the exception of one man, and personal trainer the rest of the staff never smiled. They never greeted me, and would most of the time have their backs turned talking to each other. I never got offered a tour of the gym, and felt like an inconvenience to the staff when I would ask a simple question. I drove the extra 15 min just to go to the gym in Parker a few times. The vibe of your gym starts when you walk in. When I canceled my membership I still had a week left in my month to workout. Admittedly, after a employee mistake I was told I could not finish my week with no way around it. I was so upset with my entire experience there that I gladly grabbed my keys and left. If I could make just one person avoid picking this gym it would actually make me happy. Customer service is that important if you want to succeed, especially in a new gym. read more
