I love this gym but everything is always broken... Today I got on my first treadmill and it was unplugged, easy fix? Sure. Before plugging it in I move to another and the screen wasn't working. Okay moving on through my workout 1st stationary bike, screen broken. Moved to gym floor & started the circuit machines - only 1 of 6 not working today. Better than usual I suppose. Workout completed One of my favorite things about this gym is the recover area, so I went to do the leg compression. 1st set (size small) air leak in zone 1. Next set (size small) air leak zone 1. Sitting in 3rd chair down, decide I'll just stick with this set and skip zone one but the chair is broken and won't lean back at all. Decide if I am going to switch chairs at this point I should grab another set but then I was informed the other two sets left out all had leaks too. So I do my 10 minutes with leaks and sitting up straight. Swing by the front desk because I've been a member for over a year and this is pretty much a regular visit here. Once during a GTX class the front plate of the treadmill just fell off while the girl next to me was on it. All we could do was laugh Hate to complain but decide it's time to say something although I've heard from other members it won't change anything... I give it a shot. I report all the items while my husband orders us two protein shakes (about $21) and she said I can file a concern on the app or she can relay the message Monday. I have no intention of figuring out how to report each thing on the app, I honestly don't care that much because we can always switch gyms but I thought I'd give a heads up to anyone considering joining. I do love lots of things about this gym but it's not seeming to be worth the price tag currently. Some pros include the private sauna's in each bathroom and their additional coed saunas by the pool. The pool area in general is awesome, the kids love the slide and the snack bar (not outrageous but priced like you are at a beach club) They do have an adequate amount of equipment, so even with a bunch of broken things I can usually find enough other things to do to complete my workout. This is an excellent high-end club. It isn't inexpensive. But it's a good value (IMO even at the new rates, if you can afford it) and they take care of the facilities. I have no idea what the people who are saying things are broken are talking about. I've been a member at both the Centennial and Parker locations for 10+ years and visited 2-3 times a week consistently since they opened. Except for VERY rare occasions I've never encounter a shortage of equipement or a consistently broken workout station. The front desk people have always and I mean always been warm and gracious especially Dave in the mornings. I don't recall any time the mens sauna was out for 4 months and when it was down for repair there was always the sauna by the pool as a back up. Every time I've every had an issue it was handled immediately. Things do break but that is true of any high volume-high use club especially after 10 years of consistent use. I'm not sure what the other reviewers expectations are but mine have been met and exceeded. read more

Lifetime Parker, has terrible customer service. It took them over 4 months to figure out how to complete a sauna remodel, meanwhile leaving zero access to every member who paid for that feature; they made no apologies and offered no one reimbursement for failure to provide that service. There are usually 2-3 people standing around who work the front desk, but when you call the front desk nobody ever and if you leave a message with your call back information, nobody will ever return your phone call. But its a great place if you like camping; just try to use the equipment upstairs, its normally a 30-45 minute wait per machine. Management tries to encourage people to be couch potatoes on the equipment, that is they will pitch a tent, start grilling, go zombie mode on their phone, and lounge themselves' into an existential bliss, why you're just trying to use the machine for a few seconds and actually work out. If you care about quality customer service at all, you will absolutely hate this place. read more

I was a stylist in the Lifetime fitness spa for 2 1/2 years. Three months ago, my employment at this facility came to an end. This review is specifically in regards to the general manager, Jeff May. I have been contemplating whether or not to write this review, but I feel like it's important for the higher-ups at Lifetime to completely understand the person they have running their establishment. Two months prior to ending my employment, I was in the aesthetician room located in the Lifespa . The door was clearly closed for privacy, although I was only doing an eyebrow wax. As I was waxing my clients eyebrows, we are talking, making conversation, etc. Jeff, the general manager, was clearly listening in on our private conversation, busted in the room on my client and I and he inserts himself in our private conversation. I was mortified! I spoke with other management about this, and they turned the other way, I believe because they do not want to poke the bear. To this day, I am still in contact with this client as she has become a dear friend of mine and every time I see her this situation gets brought up. Clearly, she was extremely offended. But, unfortunately, she chooses not to say anything because she is afraid jeff will make her life a living hell. One day I was in Jeff's office and he was complaining about how the nail technician did not have her nails done and he was upset by it because she's a nail technician and should have her nails done... If you go get your nails done anywhere else, notice, nail techs, do not have their nails done! I find it fascinating and a tad bit hypocritical that this was such a huge concern of his when the man clearly is severely overweight and is the general manager of Lifetime fitness... a gym! If Nail texts should have their nails in pristine condition, shouldn't the general manager not be severely obese...? The entire 2 1/2 years I busted my ass to make my manager, proud, not once did he acknowledge this and instead he would get on me for having a sweatshirt tied around my waist or a flannel tight around my waist!? The general manager, also had the nerve to bitch and complain to one of my clients for bringing in a Chick-fil-A salad into the establishment when Jeff personally every morning, without fail, brings in donuts and burritos! The entire 2 1/2 years I worked there not one single time did any member of Lifetime fitness have anything positive to say about him. But they are all terrified that he will cancel their membership or make things difficult for them so they refuse to say anything. Lifetimes corporate office needs to do some major investigating in regard to who they have running one of their gyms. read more

This is one of the best Lifetime's in Colorado. The sad part is social media nowadays. Beware of the creepy high schoolers that like to take pictures, Snap Chat of people in the Spa's. They usually travel in packs & think it's cute & funny until they get caught and confronted about how to act in the Spa or pool areas. Maybe they should have adult supervision again for the annoying kids that make it unpleasant for others. This location is one of my favorite Life Time centers. The exercise bikes here & Centennial are my absolute favorite. You can cycle fast enough to make them go on hybrid mode, which means you're powering the bike. Soo so great for the environment! Also, the ergonomic design of the seats are unparalleled to other bikes I have ridden. Overall this gym has it all: water refill station, cardio center, stretching, weights, CrossFit area, sauna, pool, etc. the only reason for four stars in because it is so hot in the locker rooms. This is across the board for every Life Time in Denver & a lot of people complain. I understand we want to make the place as green as possible, but us girls could use a little more air after taking a shower. I don't understand the bad reviews because I've been here for at least 7 months now and I really loved it! It was the sauna and steam room that got me in here vs other gyms and I have a friend that's been a member for years too. The place is clean, people clean up and wipe machines after they're done, I think front desk like Evan and Katie are real nice and they greet you with a smile every morning (I come around 6 am)....I literally can't think of anything negative to say about this place . I ended up signing up for small group training classes and it pushes me and the people encouraging and friendly too. Definitely enjoy Amber's class. Love all the regular classes too! I do wish they have some kind of an OCR (obstacle course race) training though. read more

They will however, harass you at 4am for a photo and patronizingly strike up a conversation about your life history when your face clearly says you'd rather smell a cupped fart than capitulate. Not sure what's with all the negative reviews because this gym is where its at! I'm not someone who is a gym-rat or fitness enthusiast by any means so working out at a beautiful gym like Lifetime definitely is a motivator. The gym is fully equipped and has plenty of machines so you will never be disappointed in that regards. The gym is spotless clean, towel service is great, has well-kept pools, and multiple hot tubs/saunas/steam rooms. Not to mention, a variety of fitness classes from yoga to Zumba to strength training, and delicious smoothies available in the Life Cafe on your way out. The rock wall is also a pretty cool amenity and pickle ball/racquetball/basketball courts are also available. Its not the cheapest gym on the block, but what's that saying? "You get what you pay for"...you really do get your money's worth at Lifetime. I literally no complaints about this gym and I 100% would recommend. read more

The zero entry baby pool is only open to adults before 10 am. Are there a lot of adults sitting in 3 inches of water on Sunday? We were told to leave 13 minutes before 10 am in an empty baby pool. I think they need to re-examine their policies. This is ridiculous. If it is a lifeguard issue, don't worry, at 10 am she was still in her office,nowhere to be seen. Where to even begin...this place is pure Magic. I never dreamed that a gym could become my sanctuary, or that a team of such amazing individuals could be such an asset in my life. Giant swimming pools with water slides. 2.5 hours of child care a day, on the house. Two huge jacuzzis and a Co-Ed sauna with enough room for 10-20 people to recline comfortably. Spotless locker rooms. A steam room infused with Eucalyptus. Several heavy weight punching bags. Massive cardio area. Magnificent cafe run by Tai and his team. But! on top of all of that, the people who run this place are on another level. If you need fitness Training, Brett is phenomenal. Everyone at the front desk: Malik, Autumn, Axel, Katie, Jordyn, Laura, Jeff, and every other magnificent person greeting you is looking sharp, smiling, and ready to help you in any way. I now look forward to the gym, and I know I cannot reiterate. This place will change your life: it is the middle of winter, and we are going on year three of a pandemic, but when you walk into LifeTime Fitness in Parker, all of that melts away, and time stands still. Don't be tricked by the pretty child area!! We were convinced after touring the location and have been disappointed in the care ever since. I take my kids to this location often and I've always found kids sitting in the front end area not engaged in any activities. There's always two people staffed from 11am or 12 and on, and both always seem to be at the front end. The back "maze" area seems to be closed off more often then not, even when they seem to have the staff for it, they would just rather both be at the front desk talking to each other. At first I thought I caught them at the wrong time every day, but it's too often the case. After asking my child they apparently close the back when there aren't enough kids, which is understandable if staffing is an issue. But what is the alternative offered? Well, nothing. The teenagers employed seem to need further training on how to engage children, and keep their minds busy and having fun. They don't seem to understand that this gym is also charging us for our kids, and as such should have actual experiences offered and not just free hands the entire 2 hours spent there. It may be understandable to not allow children in the back if it not super busy, but as they are not even re-engaged in any activities provided in the remaining areas, what exactly does a kids membership offer for them? They seem to give kids toys to throw around and not actually use the opportunity of low attendance to connect with the children with classes and activities. I am extremely disappointed with increasing prices, constant loss of amenities in the club and overall engagement to our kids in the kids club. We will be trying out different locations. read more

Love this place, been a member at this location for 3 years now or so. Plenty of equipment for everybody, even during peak hours. I haven't counted, but they have approx 25 squat racks for example, most of which are brand new within the past 6 months. Super friendly staff that are very knowledgeable with plenty of options for classes; they have something for everyone. Basketball court is well maintained, and their 9 pickle ball courts are brand new. Be sure to make a reservation and take a screenshot of it, and have your phone ready because there are hordes of entitled old timers that feel they deserve the courts more than you. Just show them your reservation and they will sit down and watch you angrily until you're done. Hopefully the 8-12 of them that do this will start pooling their money together to come up with the $20 it takes to make a reservation soon! read more

A buddy of mine is a member and the hubby and I were able to get in with his guest passes. I wish there were one of these gyms close to where I live. They have almost everything you can imagine to get your fitness on - free weights, dumbbells, barbells, compression machines, weight machines, foam rollers of different densities, a yoga room, basketball courts. Aside from the cleanliness (at least to the eye), the variety of stuff is what impressed me most. There was also a lot of space to be able to do other things like lunges across the floor. There were also massage tables out near the stretching and Pilates area. I wanted an adjustment after my workout but no one was around. My buddy told me that he pays $136 for a family membership which I think is fantastic but I can't imagine that that would be the case where I live. After my workout I ordered an açaí bowl which was actually kind of terrible . It took a while to get and when I got it I sucked down the contents of the bowl with a straw instead of using a spoon. But yeah, if they opened one of these mega gyms near me I would definitely consider a membership. read more

Worst Customer Service I have ever had from any company. If you read through the complaints and there are many, there is a constant with canceling a membership. This place is the worst run organization I have ever run across. To cancel your membership they loose letters loose emails and loose certified mail receipts. To start I used the facility only as a coach and not as a work out facility. Once I was done coaching I stopped going. I had not used for months and when i want to cancel I get the complete run around. I would never use this facility locally or nationally if this is how they are run. I would stay away, far far away . Was here for a pool party. The lifeguard staff needs a serious overhaul! There seems to be not much concern for the safety of the members (children in particular) and way more concern for flirting, loitering and gossiping. A bunch of sullen, rude teenagers...who could use some lessons in the most basic of manners. Don't forget who you're here to take care of, kids. Scary to think these distracted, self absorbed lifeguards are tasked with the safety of hundreds of people. The rest of the staff was kind and helpful. The grounds/facilities are beautiful. We grudgingly decided to go back to Centennial, CO. It is a filthy place, not sure who manages this location but the manager of this place does not care at all for this place and maybe even the users too. Showers are slimy and stink, and the hot tubs, haha hot tubs, are more like warn tubs, the jet poorly works. The indoor tubs, one is always closed, and the outside tubs, are not working at all. I am surprised to see people just sitting there in the warm tub. The steam rooms never work, it is poorly maintained. I regret going there, was going to cancel or postpone my account until the other site pools get fixed but I can do it only once. What a shame, Luxury, it is too big of a label for this location. You come here for the amenities, I can get the same classes in any other place. But if the spa, the steam rooms, and the showers are all in a poor state, then what are we paying for? read more

I had used a guest pass and from my review back in 2014, nothing has really changed. I felt like the gym floor was horribly dirty like they have NEVER been sanitized, the equipment wipes are still dry (probably should switch brands or something) or promote that people clean off their equipment... watched a lot of people just get up off machines with their sweat on it without wiping it down). I feel so disguised here. The women's locker room was a horrible mess and I feel like it has never been cleaned. Are the showers even sanitized? Walking through the gym it was alright when I signed up. Though the gym doesn't seem like it is cleaned very often as the other locations (always smells in the locker room, the showers are dirty, the wet sauna smells). And why do the equipment wipes seem to (1) ALWAYS be dried out or (2) Not even there/filled? They don't promote wiping down your equipment either which leads to sickness. Also there is a TRX system right in the middle of the gym in the upper-level and they had to move all the other machines forward so it feels cramped. read more

Over the years I have tried to use GYMs, with little success. I generally prefer to exercise at home, but in truth I don't actually do it. Now I am working out 3-5 times a week. My health is improving and I expect I will spend less on Doctors. But you are interested in the GYM. First they have plenty of equipment, I rarely need to wait for a lifting meshing and that is only because I want that specific one. They always have plenty of cardio machines and plenty of choices, in truth I haven't even tried them all yet. TVs are everywhere with plenty of choices. The pools are nice, a bit crowded; I guess that comes with being such a great facility. In truth it more reminds me of a resort than your local GYM. I love the personal trainers. They are helpful and totally professional. I love the Café, great health food and everyone is nice. We have 4 teenagers and they love to go and swim and exercise or clime the rock wall. read more

Not much better than 24 hour, except it has an outdoor pool. Certainly less safe then any other gym I have been to in 50 years. Watch your wallet and any other valuables, the place is poorly run from a safety perspective. It may seem like a higher level gym (and cost more), but it isn't. Just figure anyone can get in your locker at any time. You cannot bring your own lock, so this gives the gym staff and anyone else free access to your stuff. Just know anyone can ask to get into any locker at any time. Be aware, nothing is safe in your locker! read more

The front desk staff has worked tirelessly to keep it up and running, and David Welchert, who is an assistant manager, deserves a huge amount of praise (and a raise!) for dealing with all the ups and downs that came with Covid. David always greets all members with a smile, is quick to offer help if a problem arises, supports the rest of the staff, and the best go-to guy for any assistance needed, whether the problem is simple or complicated.
