The staff is amazing, the machines work and they are clean, very very chill atmosphere. Every time I went in I was greeted very warmly by the staff, it was usually not crowded at all (I'd usually go around 7am-12pm).I LOVE the massage chairs at this location because it massages your arms and legs as well :D. Planet Fitness is the Best! I have the black card membership so, I can go to any location even when I'm on business travel or vacation. Which is great because it keeps me consistent with my workout regimen. The locations that I typically frequent (TriCounty and come rain) have plenty of treadmills/equipment that I'm never waiting in line to use them. I gave this place four stars because the stair master wasn't working and when I brought it to the workers attention they didn't put for any effort to attempt fix it. read more

Cleanest gym I've ever been to! Nice staff. Nice variety of equipment and all in great condition.

This location seems more run down than other planet fitnesses in the area. It's not as crowded so I never have a problem finding a machine, but the machines are older. The lighting is much darker than other locations and I haven't gotten used to the lay out. Staff is friendly. read more

This is one of the best Planet Fitness gyms I've visited. Very spacious, a lot of different machines/weights, wi-fi, and a nice staff. The only thing they are missing is hand sanitizer machines. Any time I'm in the area, I'll visit this gym. Highly recommended! read more

Just signed a year of contract with planet fitness, family style, 20$ monthly plus one time annual fee of 40$. WELL WORTH the price! The gym is very organized and maintained. The membership comes with one free guess pass, free access to full body massage chairs, hydro massage beds, and tanning beds. I tried all of them except the tanning bed. I especially enjoyed the hydro massage bed, it's not ticklish and very very comfortable. The water is heated so it helps with stress relief. They have all sorts of fitness workout machines, all life fitness brand, which I like the most. They also have 15 and 30 minute full body workout areas. The intent is to work in the pattern they prescribed which is generally a fullbody workout, u spend 3-5 minutes on each machine. Planet fitness also offer free instructor led classes but I haven't had a chance to sign up for any yet. Also, there is so swimming pool. Overall this place gave be a great first impression, highly recommended! Btw u get a free shirt when u sign up as well :) read more

I have been a member here since it first opened. I am pleased with the amenities. I never have along wait for the equipment I like to use. I enjoy this gym for people watching. It is exciting to see ordinary people making strives to change their overall health. The work out and bathroom facilities are always clean. The desk attendants are friendly. I live near Eastgate location. Decided to go to Tri-County to see what it was about. People at the front desk were pleasant. Gym was clean. If I lived on this side of town, this would definitely be the gym I would go to. I have the Black Card, so I am able to attend any of their locations, which I love. When I go out of town, this is very handy. This location may be my favorite in the Cincinnati area as there seems to be a more diverse group of members. Depending on where you are in the gym, there are full length windows, which provide some excellent scenery on a sunny day. read more

I came in to get a temporary membership while I am traveling for work. The all-male day staff were not friendly and extremely unhelpful. One accused me of making up the temporary membership, which is something I've purchased and used at other locations. The manager acted like checking on my request was a waste of his time. They made me feel really unwelcome. And in the end, they wouldn't sell me a month pass, but kept trying to push a year long membership on me. I won't be coming back here. read more

You wont find a better deal on a gym membership. $10 month to month and an annual $30 fee. This location has been open for about a year and a half and a few of the more popular machines are just now starting to show some wear (cracked padding, etc). I'll be interested to see how long it takes to start fixing some of those issues. They have a ton of treadmills and ellipticals (all equipped with tvs) and at least two of every machine. I've never had to wait for a treadmill. It does get crowded around 5:00, so I try and go on the lunch hour instead. The staff here is constantly cleaning...the machines, the locker rooms. They do a great job. Unfortunately, the biggest issues appear to be with the membership. Too many times, i've gone to take a shower and the person before left chewing gum, waded up paper towels, and garbage in the shower. The staff can only do so much...they cant clean up after every shower. Members need to have a little more respect for the property. Unfortunately, that's what you get when you have a $10/month membership option. Pet peeve: they have some promotion, i have no idea why, where they bring in a bunch of pizzas into the lobby for members on certain nights. This is all around the worst promotion for a gym that I have ever heard. Have you ever tried to lift weights or run on a treadmill right next to an area that smells like pepperoni pizza? read more

I'm really hesitant to give this place five stars for one reason... It's too freaking crowded. I understand that gyms have busy hours, but this is ridiculous. If the owners read these reviews, there is an obvious need for another location in the tricounty, West Chester area. Otherwise, I literally have no complaints. I most Definately get my 20 bucks worth every month. Equipment is well maintained and newer than in some other locations. They have fans! And use them! The gym is large and roomy when you're not tripping over someone. I have not had to wait for cardio equipment but have had to wait for the Smith machine or free weights. :-( updated 03/06/2015...the place is still clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the crowd has done nothing but get worse. The recent wave of New Year resolutions and newly engaged brides to be has made this place somewhat miserable during even relatively busy times, and at peak times, I often turn around and go elsewhere. They desperately need another location close by or massive expansion. Regardless, when I can get a piece of equipment, it's well-maintained and clean. Several employees know my name and I have never felt uncomfortable despite my utilitarian body frame. Great gym, great price, great location. Poor size for the demands. read more

I have had plenty of gym memberships (LA fitness, Golds, Ballys) This gym has plenty of machines to use for every body group! I do have to wait a lot for the Smith machine but it's reasonable time. I usually go around 5 or 6pm through the week and that's their busiest time but it's not bad. I like the circuit training sections and free weight areas. Locker rooms are always clean and easy to lock up belongings. Never too hot in the gym due to the amazing fans they have. 20 dollars a month is so worth it when you have 24 hour access, tanning, massages and personal training for free. read more

Clean facility and a wonderful gym to workout at! :) I love the bring a friend policy with my black card membership! The bathrooms are always clean and yhe workers are always doing something to keep up with everything (which is more I can say for other locations I've visited). Most of the staff is very friendly and Jeff is an amazing trainer! There are a couple of the girl employees though that have been very rude to me and when I went up to the desk to get a pass for the relaxation zone they wouldn't help me and rolled their eyes. I love this location,but some of the workers mostly the girls need to socialize less and tend to the customers more. I came from FitWorks, and I can't say enough good things about my experience with PF compared to that. FitWorks closed the location I went to, didn't tell me (I showed up one day and the lights were off), and then came after me for a contract I didn't know I was in! So, I was really apprehensive because it seems like many gyms are set up to make money by ripping people off. But Planet Fitness was low pressure from the very start. I walked out the door without a membership after my tour without hassle! They remembered my name the next day when I came back to sign up. Their equipment is top notch, and they have a massage chair that shoots water--I highly recommend taking the tour and checking that out, and don't worry, you won't get wet! I spoke to the owner once because he also owns the Smoothie King next door (the Jungle Jim's location - they're not out here). Really nice guy! I love this gym! read more

Do not upgrade to a Black Card membership unless you are absolutely sure you want it! You will be charged the full amount of a new membership to downgrade back to a normal level (in my case, this is $39). Don't get me wrong, Planet Fitness is a great gym. They have clean facilities with plenty of exercise equipment choices and their friendly policies make even the most novice of gym-goers feel comfortable. However, their business practices leave something to be desired. I won't bore you with the details but suffice it to say they will lie to you about their fees to get you to upgrade, then charge you through the nose if you ever try to downgrade back to a normal membership. read more

I would recommend going to the planet fitness in fairfeild rather than tri county location. The employees especially all the males are so rude! The employees Lauren and Brandon were so rude to us, they started a fight and Brandon starting cussing at us and saying go F%&K off!! Called us a lot of other names (curse words) and the "manager" Lauren did nothing about it!! So after they started the fight they cancelled our memberships when we did nothing wrong!! They called the fairfeild planet fitness telling them lies and bad things about what happened!! read more

The Tri-County Planet Fitness is spotless! The staff tries so hard to keep the place clean, you constantly see the employees cleaning the gym. The staff is friendly and professional. This is the third gym that I have joined since my relocation to Cincinnati. I cancelled the other two due to sexual harassment .I can't see that happening here. I love the atmosphere. read more
