What a great gym!! Definitely 5 s... It has a great atmosphere.. The staff are amazing Brandon&Ava and the New manger Dalton make life a lot easier if you need some knowledge on working out or just any issues you may have. Very positive and kind the each of them in there own lil ways. The gym is very kept up and if the machines ever break down there on top of it and they get fixed asap. Great tanning beds and if you just need a good rub down they have great massage chairs many to choose from. If you're on the fence of what gym to choose planet fitness in Ft.O is the best choice. I went in today to workout and I overheard a female talking in a very demeaning way to the staff , it was apparent that the staff around her was not comfortable so I'm not sure what was going on .I greatly enjoy planet fitness and I think the staff are absolutely wonderful. It's usually a younger gentleman upfront or a few younger females and they are always so friendly and welcoming. However the lady today looked very unapproachable, I never caught her name I just know she was wearing black, I certainly don't want anyone to be disciplined I just feel like a quick remedial training in customer service and employee relations could be helpful. read more

Great budget club with amenities My favorite are the water massage beds.... they are awesome! I currently have a lot of lower back pain but the water massage fixes that better than pain reliever's The equipment is good but i wish they would add a few more weight plates to some of the equipment.... a little on the light side read more

Most of the employees here are kind and courteous, but unfortunately today I dealt with a young lady who was just rude and then another who was unprofessional. I just went to tan. I waited. I got in #6. I got right back out because 1/2 the bulbs were out. I left it on, so they could see that. When I got out and I told the young girl they were not working, she took the # tag and turned around. I just stood there. Finally she said, "well....what else do you want? " Um, I want to tan. That's why I came. Then the other young lady told her the lights were still on and turn them off. I explained I wanted them to see that they didn't work. She said she knew. So I said then why would you put me in there? She said she puts people in there anyway. Seriously! This is what I'm paying for? Then I had to wait another 10 minutes while she allowed other people waiting to go in front of me. Thursday night, January 11, 2024. 6:00 pm. So much for good customer service. read more

There are not many choices for workout facilities near me. I toured the Ft. Oglethorpe PF and decided to join. I was pleasantly surprised at the equipment, machines and cleanliness of the facility. The staff always greet you with a smile and helpful when you need something. I'm happy I joined. read more

Now understand, this facility is for the average or below average person to exercise and improve their health. In my opinion, they are very good for that. If you are interested in bodybuilding, weightlifting, or powerlifting, this place is not for you. In fact, they don't have a single olympic bar. But it is good for the average person that wants to get in shape. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking. I see negative YOutube videos all the time about more hardcore members being kicked out. Well they shouldn't be there anyway and they should be advised not to join. Nice facility and nice employee. Still miss the best trainer in the world, Antonio. Not sure why he was let go, rumor is the manager wanted to hire his friend that is a trainer. Not many classes nowadays. When Antonio was there the classes were full and even overfull. Most of the people that trained with me in his classes have quit and gone to work out with him up by costco. He made a world of difference as a fun, friend and very knowledgeable trainer that I was going 5 days a week with the group. Wish he would come back :( read more

I absolutely love this gym. I haven't joined a gym in 20 years and I was very hesitant about it because of the judgement I might get, but there is no judgement here. The only thing I will complain about is the girl at the desk is so rude to me everytime I come in and ask any questions. I even got an eye roll this morning. Planet Fitness should make it easy to cancel a membership. We moved to a new town, and we're told we had to physically go to the planet fitness we signed up at to cancel. What if a client were to move across the country? In this day and age, customer service is important. That just seems like a petty obstacle to have in place because people want to leave your company. I wasn't leaving for a negative reason, but this left a negative taste in my mouth. Hopefully PF will fix this flaw in their policy. read more

I have been going to this gym for a while and it is great, the only judgement I have seen is from the manager, Ivan, with some other male workers and his friends checking out the obviously much younger girls and even openly making remarks about them from across the gym. Leaves me disturbed and I feel bad for the women having to work out in these conditions, especially from someone at a professional stand point on the gyms behalf. read more

this is a phone review. I called and spoke to a nice guy on the phone today, I wanted to know about the membership types and what age you needed to be in order to use the guy. (he was reading a script and it showed ) when I stopped him with questions he seemed taken back for a moment. I need a family membership and you don't offer anything for families . I have teens who workout more so then I do but, were willing to join with me to help me get healthier. I was told the 19.99 a month I could bring one guest which is nice but, if I bought two and if my husband couldn't come then I could only bring one teen with me so, that isn't helpful when I have two teens. I would be willing to pay 40.00 or 50.00 a month for a family plan and will be looking around to find a gym that can accommodate my needs . sorry it couldn't be ya'll read more

Do not be mislead by good reviews as some are employees or regulars given special treatment for them posting good reviews. You would think a company such as this would be sure their employees are educated on their own standards and rules. After moving across the country you cannot simply call your home store and get any correct information. I was told my account was cancelled only to find out months later that the "trained" employee had no clue what she was talking about. She did not cancel my membership but instead I am being sent to collections. This business seems great and cheap until you want out then they lie and steal your money. I hope not all planet fitness locations are not this bad but I guarantee that I will never step foot in that crooked place again! read more

This is an independent owned planet fitness, and the staff told me they have the right to make there own rules. I was not allowed to bring in a water bottle that was bigger than the one they sell there!!!!!! this is a tall water bottle like you get at a gas station. I could not believe it!!!!!! I travel for work and I have been all over the country to lots of planet fitness's and have never heard of this. So I had to workout with no water. I went to the water fountain to get water and guess what? The owners have the water presser turned so low you have to put your mouth on the fountain to get water. This leaves members no other choice but to BUY water from them out of the cooler. Good luck on trying to wash your hands in the bathroom. You get 10 seconds of water then it shuts off. Great planet fitness. The gym is very clean and the staff if very helpful. They have lots of cardio equipment, plenty of machines and free weights, a nice stretching area and 30 min workout area. They have tanning and massage chairs for black card members. The price can not be beat for a clean gym with everything you need to get/stay in shape!! Nice work!! read more

I started at Planet Fitness a month ago. The 3rd shift people (cause thats when i go) have always been nice and accommodating, always willing to answer any question and help with any machine. They even help my guests like they were always a member of the place. I do and will continue to recommend. read more
