A fun way to spend an hour and do good for you. Admittedly, we spend more time in the massage rooms than the workout room. On another trek across the country, a closed freeway forced us to spend time here in Laramie. Couldn't believe how clean the place is. Chris was pretty incredible at the front desk. Another day .. Another Planet fitness location! We love our black card membership. We've visited over 36 locations in 10 states in the last 3 months in our summer road trip. This location was great! Plenty of equipment, we didn't have to wait for anything. Friendly staff that were actively cleaning the whole time we were there. Nice hot water in the showers. The staff is very friendly and helpful they make me feel welcome. It's very clean non judgmental a place where you can focus on your fitness and just work out. I've met several very friendly people who are eager to help you learn how to use equipment. They are 24 hours a day Monday through Thursday and 7am to 7 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The membership is a great value I can bring a guest. They have awesome equipment for a full body workout. read more

Equipment poorly maintained. TVs attached to treadmills and elliptical do not all work and have been that way for months. Can't this be fixed or at least a sign saying TVs don't work. Bike, that I rode, heart monitoring faulty not reading properly and constantly pausing. Friendly staff but no progress when issues raised. read more

You get a lot of benefit for the money: good machines that work and are maintained; clean facilities; very nice staff; good variety of equipment; spacious environment; excellent hours of operation; central location; ease of check-in. and close and plentiful free parking. I'd give it a five star rating except for the consistent problem of people camped out on machines, texting and talking on cell phones instead of doing their sets and giving someone else a chance on the machine. A couple of signs posted to that effect would probably solve the problem: Be considerate, don't camp on the machines. But, by going at less busy hours one can get around this problem. I think for the money, you can't beat this gym. read more

The cleanest gym I have ever been to. The employee had the most excellent customer service that I have experienced in a long time. She (A) was welcoming and very very kind and helpful. She offered a tour of the facilities and made sure I felt comfortable. She kept busy cleaning, mopping, tidying up, checking on the members, and offering assistance to everyone walking in the door. Update (07/19/19): The response from Planet Fitness to this review speaks for itself and we joined a different gym as a result. They also want two forms of payment to sign up for a "no commitment" membership. Poor business practices with scam-like requirements trying to lock people into monthly payments which will make quitting very difficult. We walked in to join Planet Fitness here in Laramie Wyoming. Two responsible adult males. Personally I wanted to get the Black Card membership and just pay for a full year in advance as I am between positions having just relocated and did not want to worry about recurring payments. Basically, I wanted to give this PF a year of money in advance...why any business would have a problem with that I do not understand? I spoke to the manager while my friend tried to sign up. The lady/manager I spoke to was condescending and insulting. "If you pay in advance and forget to cancel in a year it will begin coming out monthly." I am a responsible adult who can count to twelve or set a reminder on my phone if that is a problem then. "We might not be able to stop the monthly drafts that would start two days from now." This seems like an easy refund if it happens? There were other comments not answering the question..."Can I pay for a year in advance and just give your business my money now?" There was never an actual answer. As it turned out they wanted two forms of payment and my friend could not sign up (could they have taken one form and had him sign up and bring in the other form on the next visit?)...who knows their account and routing number on the spot? She let two customers walk out without trying to help find a reasonable solution and retain what had been a very certain and easy sale!? I sincerely hope the general manager and owner of this franchise see this review and find out what is happening at this location. This manager needs remedial training in customer service and sales. How do you let two people who intended to spend their money *on the spot* walk out without finding a workable solution? Very sad. I will likely spend a bit more and join another gym as there are several choices in Laramie and every one not only offers a yearly payment option, but also a discount on this payment...I was not and am not asking for a discount, just to pay in advance. This gym has the worst customer service ever! They charged me my annual fee twice. Getting a refund seems almost impossible. I spoke to the manager, nothing has been done yet, and when I called this morning I spoke to an employee who was very rude, and she told me instead of a refund, they just won't charge me my monthly fee on the 17th. That's about half of the $39.99 charge they double billed me. I wish I had known in advance. Complete waste of time and money. Now I have to call my bank and dispute the charges. read more

this place is only good for running on treadmills and ellipticals, very little work out equipment just dozens of the same machine and probably over 30 treadmills and over 20 ellipticals. This gym is not for anyone wanting a diverse workout of any kind. read more

Have you ever noticed that PF doesn't ever address issues? They have their simple two or three line sentence that doesn't ever address the issue. They are sorry about your experience, they strive to provide good customer care and they hope you send them additional information in order to help you. Good thing it is a cheap membership. I personally love the "Judgement Free Zone" mentality with a huge definition of "luck". A gym that openly judges whilst promoting "Judgement Free"; I would call it hypocritical if it weren't so silly. Great gym and great experience with staff. Super clean, new everything, great atmosphere! Yes they require two forms of payment, no big deal to me, they only charge one of them. This is $10 per month by the way, how can that be topped!! read more
