Observed a rude female front desk employee whose behavior to 3 separate guests was unacceptable. Tall, stocky and wearing a dew rag. Very unlike Planet fitness and a poor representative of PF. First of All, they dont respond to emails inquiring about transaction disputes. I changed my account number and they still charged the wrong account and card. I cancelled my account in August around the 14th or so and I am still actively being charged to a card that I took off of my account. Thats two months September and October that I have been charged not only the 27.85 but also a 15 dollar late fee for their negligence. I called them about the issue and was basically called a liar by the "manager" on duty who said I was in there 10/17/2025 to cancel my account instead of the two months ago that it actually was. She refused to give me cooperates number. She called back and gave me a third party billing parties number which is part of the problem too, but I need planet fitness to answer as to why my account shows that it was closed two days ago instead of two months and give me my money back.The hours are crap. The only reason I came to planet fitness instead of the others were for the amenities and the advertisement about a 24/7 gym which is no where near true at this location. Other planet fitness gyms have 6 squat racks. This one only has 4. It's hard to get to use one because gym goers who do manage to get an open one spend 30 minutes to over an hour using them. It would be great if they got more or set time limits during peak hours. Nacogdoches is much better. Women can use the glute machine and free up the smith machine. read more

I canceled my membership a few months ago and it just charged my card for 10 dollars and no one will answer the phone and I know it's only $10 dollar but it's just out of respect to answer a phone call and refund my money. read more

My Son has a membership w/PF for years, & is limited by his disabilities to equipment & time he could even use but he did benefit for a while. PROBLEM- He has temporarily suspended 2 times W/O issues TBI, Compromised immune /physical inability to utilize membership, BEFORE Covid19, **** AfterReopened, Charges began w/o Notification! its a gym but you cant have a gym bag on the floor with you! they say its a "hazard". dumbells and the weight machines are more of a hazard than my gym bag up against the wall or under the machine seat I'm using. . they could use some straight back seats to sit in rather than using an adjustable bench, I've asked for them to get one but the request seems to fall upon deaf ears. tanning beds are good but people seem to want to poop and pee in the trash cans that's in the tanning bed rooms. YUCK! really? they have removed the trash cans to help prevent this from happening now. also they do not have scales to weigh yourself. not sure why. I would like to know how I'm doing read more

My daughter and I have memberships and we really enjoy it there. I'm not a huge fan of the machines other than the treadmills and bikes, but my daughter seems to like them. There are not enough weights during the peak usage times. We also enjoy the workout room at the back where you rotate through a set of machines during a set period to get an overall workout. My only complaint would be that there are not enough weights to go around during peak attendance times. read more

I joined PF for a year. Wanted to love it but ended up cancelling my membership. Why? Because in reality it's just a warehouse of cheap cumbersome aerobic equipment. Very difficult to change the routine up. The Lufkin PF is really bad. The video doesn't work. It smells like an old grocery store. Oh wait! It is an old grocery store ..,I know four people who work out of town and joined for ten dollars a month just to have free showers. They don't even use the gym. I ended up paying 35 dollars a month for a real gym. read more

After signing up for a dollar then with the understanding we would not be charges till the following month. We ended UP getting charged this month instead. So much for the dollar special. Since we were not expecting it, it cost us an overdraft fee from our bank. Now its cost 30bdollars that shouldnt have. Still get 3 stars for nice evening help. I started last year in October, since then Ive notice that a lot of things stay broken down. I got the Black Card membership and I only use the Hydro Bed. One of more of them stayed broke all through the winter months, they have only recently got all 3 running. The place is always dirty, soap and towels are limited at times in the ladies bathroom. On more than one occasion Ive had trouble finding a paper towel dispenser that was full on the floor to wipe the machines down with. Have to watch out for ppl wanting money at 6 in the morning outside there front door. That was a bit scary. All in all I'm not really impressed, think they could do a lot better. read more

I have been going for a month now and the staff is super helpful, I don't feel out of place there, you don't hear the weights being dropped and a bunch of jockey muscle armed jerks high fiving each other and comparing the size of their arms.
