I go to Planet Fitness East in East Towne Mall and it is the best one in my opinion as well as planet fitness being my favorite place to go. I like to go to the one at East Town Mall the best because the staff are amazing there and the place is always spotless. It's truly something to enjoy and a treat to go to the east side location at East Towne Mall. Shout out to management there especially! They're so helpful there and just so friendly. read more

I liked Planet Fitness right up until I needed to cancel my membership. It's not easy to cancel and when I was finally able to cancel it, Planet Fitness didn't care - they're still charging me everything month and I can't find any way to reach them to get them to stop charging me. It's a literal scam. read more

I love this gym and all but in the mornings, forget about using the black card member spa. There is never anyone at the front desk or anywhere else for that matter. It's very frustrating paying for the membership. In the evenings, there is always someone there and very helpful. I have noticed the person in the morning will briefly appear and then seems to go back into hiding. read more

Went to this location this week. I approached the desk and told them that it was my first time at this location, asked if they could show me around. The employee couldn't be bothered to step away from the desk(there were multiple employees behind the desk). He pointed to various areas then turned back toward another employee to chat. As a healthcare traveler, I've been to many locations across several states, most are excellent. This was the worst location I've visited!! read more

I've been using planet fitness for the last 5 years with multiple locations. I had a black card membership at this location for a couple years and there was confusion around billing suspension around the pandemics time. When I was comfortable to come back, I made a second membership by mistake thinking the old membership was canceled. Fast forward to now, I cancelled my membership and found that I have had 2 memberships. Typically my bank or I myself will catch duplicate charges but this went on for 6 months. While I should have known this was happening, there are no systems in place that caught that I had 2 memberships there. Management has said that there is nothing that can be done and that because I signed up for both memberships and it wasn't caught sooner, it's on me. Disappointed in planet fitness and this location's customer service. I will likely never return. read more

I really love this PF. I recently switched jobs and this one is closer to my new job so I started coming here on a regular basis. I was previously going to the one at East Towne. This place is very large. The machines are new and in excellent condition. The spacing and layout of the gym is very functional and efficient. So far (I've been coming here about a month now) I have very little to complain about. Staff has been very friendly every visit. They are constantly cleaning/mopping/wiping down machines. The machines are also all labeled and closed off for social distancing. Lots of bike and treadmills and ellipticals. No arc trainers :( Masks are required and for the most part everyone is compliant. There are a few people see I on a regular basis who pull their masks down while doing cardio. I get it - you're out of breath, you want to breath fresh air.. whatever - I just wish the mask rule was enforced a bit better. But that's not a huge deal to me. The only real complaint I have is the darn shower curtains. They are about 6 inches too short to fully close off the shower stall. Why?? They are just plastic curtains, get new ones! Aside from the showers, everything else about this place is top notch. A+ - 10 out of10 - Would Recommend. read more

Been trying to get a hold of a manager and have left multiple messages/email and no response. Have called at different times and 5-6am even when I have been told to call. All I need is access to my account showing my employer that I am a member and how many times a month I access the club, but no one in three months can seem to call or email me anything. I absolutely love this location. My "home" gym is the one on Mineral Point but the one on Verona Road is by far my favorite, the customer service is top notch, it's extremely clean, the best work out equipment and the atmosphere is beautiful and makes me feel welcomed.
