Im not sure what a previous reviewer meant when he said it wasn't heated. Many friends who swim there tell me they have tried the locations in Mission and Dove Ave. According to them this is the best location for maintenance and cleaning always being attended to. Even though I personally don't use the weights or machines all the staff are always pleasant and friendly.

I spent many summers at the kid's camp, swimming and playing tennis with friends and as I got older, I just went to lay by the pool with some nachos and a margarita. The workout room and locker rooms are small but perfect for the size of the club. The machines are updated and there are always some open no matter what time you go in to work on your fitness. All of my family's special events were hosted at the MCC from bat mitzvahs to graduation brunches. The service is beyond great but the food can be very hit or miss. The variety of choices at Sunday brunch are plentiful but when you go in and order off the menu, the food doesn't always seem the freshest and the flavor profiles of many menu items are lackluster. Great place to grow up, swim, workout, play golf and hangout with fiends or family but don't go in there expecting 5 star food although the Friday lunch buffet is pretty great.

There are machines a plenty and I did not have any issues with the staff. There's also an place to hang your keys/jacket but do so at your own risk. But you get what you pay for. Everything is always broken (all all the locations), you're surrounded by a bunch of high school kids who just take all the weights and leave them strewn about the entire gym so basically nothing is ever available because it's never put back. Of course, it wouldn't be fair to judge a business by how rude the other patrons are so... My customer service experience: your payments can only be made through direct deposit, so when your contract is up and you submit the paperwork to cancel (and the employees don't submit it properly), they will continue to withdrawal money directly from your checking account. I've been emailing and calling their billing department about this for MONTHS and they just say that they'll talk to a manager and hang up. Every single time. Nothing ever gets done and they still have not refunded me. Additionally, I filled out the paperwork to cancel several months before my last day. I had it marked in my calendar and did everything I was supposed to. Steer clear of this company, they will overdraw from your account even if you are a responsible person and submit all the necessary paperwork to cancel. It's better to support local businesses anyway.
