This location was recently completely renovated with new equipment and a few structural changes. Unfortunately, new equipment is already breaking down. The facility is relatively clean but no thanks to the manager, Tyler, who hides in the office, never walks around, seldom reacts to customers coming and going and is a horrible example for employees. Most units reflect the management style of the manager and this is the case here. Zero personality, zero initiative, zero interpersonal skills. Apparently PF management condones it as multiple reviews reflect this issue. That is a shame because, overall, PF in Parker is a deal but shoddy, uncaring management reduces its value substantially. read more

Tyler the manager is totally unprofessional takes care of nothing brought attention to the staff multiple times about broken equipment the hip abductor has been out for 6 weeks brought to his attention and the staff nothing was done it's still broken. They never ever make the young kids get off the machine for 30 minutes of complete texting never working out beyond annoying you tell Tyler and the staff they do nothing. The young staff who work there do 0 the young girl behind the counter stands around and glues beads all day on whatever she can find tell her about no paper towels in the bathroom she doesn't even go in a refill them, place is so dirty I've been going 3x a week for 3 years saw them mop the floor 4x. You are better off finding a cleaner Planet where equipment works staff does their job Manager with experience knowing how to understand complaints and how to handle them not a immature boy off the street with no experience as a manager but only job he can get, instead of resolving a issue he calls leaves a VM and cancels your membership because it looks bad on him. Do not go to this establishment it's terrible they go thru new staff every 6weeks go figure no one can stand working there. Even though I usually don't go to planet fitness(I go to another gym) I find that this place is adequate for achieving health goals! There are plenty of aerobic machines to help get your cardio in! USUALLY, you don't have to wait for a machine to be open. Being a relatively new gym, all of the equipment is soooo clean and it feels nice to use machines that actually work! I understand that flexibility is needed with broken equipment from time to time but unfortunately, after going here for a while, things have consistently declined. The wifi is spotty. None of the tv monitors were working on the treadmills a few times this past week. Several machines are broken and have been for a while. A month is too long to have equipment out. The stair climber, thigh machine, and leg press are all popular machines. With high schoolers attending for free, it's nearly impossible to get the machine you want to use when there are only two of each and one can't be used. Recently the parking lot has turned into a homeless camp with people and pets living in their vehicles. The homeless are using the gym for their showers. This is quite concerning for a variety of reasons, to say the least. read more

I've been going to this gym for 3 years now. Even though I'm a college student elsewhere, I still come back here over breaks and during the summer. The staff and while there are some pieces of equipment or machines I wish they had, they still have all the basics. Their best quality by far is the condition it's kept in and the cleanliness of the facility. I signed up, which really was me doing everything through my phone via the app and the employee at the desk walking me through it. I emailed (3-9-24) the corporate office to advise that there is a fair amount of broken equipment. 3 of the 4 stair steppers were not working. Rope handles that have been so worn out that would only fit a toddlers grip. Dust and hair in all the corners. There is a morning girl at the desk playing with her hair and even if you say hi she just looks at you with no response. The "apparent manager strolls in usually about 9:10 am. Guessing his start time is 9. Spits chew right outside the front door. Corporate responded right away and said they would forward to the management team and franchise owners as each location is independently owned. Here it is 3-21-24 and I have never received a response. I have even emailed corporate 2 more times asking if the franchise would be responding. Corporate has not responded to those 2 emails. Customer service is a thing of the past in this country. Guess I will call the health department, bet they can get them to clean it. If it wasn't $10/month I would go elsewhere. read more

Not bad of a planet fitness. Compared to the other ones in Colorado, I rank this number three. It's clean and big. Decent equipment but it is planet fitness. Mainly just machines, smith machine, and cardio. There are dumbbells and barbells. It's a good starter gym I must say but it doesn't have all the equipment that a more expensive gym would have. Here we go, pros and cons of Parker Planet Fitness. Let me start by saying I know some people have beef with Planet Fitness as a company because of some of their philosophies (i.e., lunk alarm) - and coming from a family of weight lifters, I completely understand why people take issue with this - "we don't judge, but if you grunt and lift heavy- you gotta go" seems hypocritical so I was skeptical myself, but after spending the past year working out here, I can tell you that this is a well-rounded gym that welcomes people at *most* levels of fitness. If you are hardcore and want to lift tires I solute you but this may not be your place. I will say though after visiting a few other Planet Fitnesses from Castle Rock to Chicago - this location is my favorite. Pros: - Very friendly staff, really appreciate that they remember by name - Affordable - Layout is great- a lot of space to spread out, you rarely feel like you are working out on top of other people - P90x room allows you to get more creative with your workouts (this includes resistance bands, weight balls and core stabilizers) - Stretch room offers a lot of space and they have great back-stretchers - Clean; most people are good about wiping down their equipment and staff is on it! - Many free weights to choose from - Kettlebells with a range of weights - Equipment to work all areas of your body - love the "core" options too - Often duplicates of equipment to reduce your chances of having to wait for your favorite piece of equipment - A few benches and smith machines (I've been to gyms with only 2 so I greatly appreciate this location has more than that!) - If you upgrade to being a "black card" member, the benefits are awesome - I highly recommend the hydromassage lounge chairs after your work out, great for muscle relaxation. - Plenty of parking - Ample cardio machines if that's your jam - Clean locker rooms with plenty of lockers, showers, bathrooms. Hair dryers too. Cons: - There are no free bars for more expansive squats and deadlifts, you are limited to the Smith Machine - The Smith Machine does offer velcro cushions for the bar, however they are not the proper size and it often falls off during your work out. *I brought this to the staff's attention and they said they would try to get better sized ones but that was a few months ago and I haven't seen any yet... - It does get quite crowded, especially between the hours of 4-7pm on weekdays, but I would imagine most gyms have this challenge. ** Fine print, whether you go for a "'black card" membership or the standard $10/month you will be charged an annual fee of $39 *unless the price has changed in the past year Overall, this gym has become a major life saver for me. After enduring a year of a pandemic and working out with the same group of people for over a year. A new girl was hired, and she starting harassing us to pull up out masks constantly even when we were on machines and 6 feet apart. According to Colorado mask mandate that is acceptable. The gym itself is nice and clean and you can usually use whatever equipment you want without waiting. My complaint is with the customer service and billing. I had a knee replacement shortly before COVID and wanted to cancel my membership, but despite explaining I was recovering and could not drive, their policy is you must cancel in person and they would not do it over the phone. Then COVID hit and they were closed and when they reopened and I kind of forgot about it until I saw the membership fee hit. So, I went in to cancel. A few days later the annual membership fee hit my account. Despite having already paid the membership fees for each of the 3 years I was a member, and this membership fee was for the year after I cancelled (coincidentally, I cancelled on my anniversary month), Planet Fitness would not refund the fee. So, I paid an annual membership fee for an entire year for which I am not a member. That's just not ok UPDATE in response to Planet Fitness reply, which is obviously a standard response, since it did not address my actual review. Just wanted to add I was not told I could freeze my account when I called about having knee replacement surgery and I was told I MUST come in to cancel - no phone or written cancellation. I have to say...this gym has really started to go downhill. They recently told my wife that she couldn't have her gym bag with her during her workouts which she uses to hold various items for her workouts. Every gym that I have ever been to just asks that you keep your bag out of the walkways. The funny thing is that the day after this happened I people working out with their bags out. If you are going to enforce a policy on someone...make sure you are enforcing that policy at all times. The hot water frequently goes out here. They say you can't wear denim jeans but I see people working out in regular clothes all the time and no one enforces that policy. Very inconsistent and doesn't look good as a business. 24 hour fitness is opening on Twenty Mile in December and I can't wait to make the switch. read more

Unfortunately, a gym that really should have more stars has started to lack in the customer service area. I understand a place of business has policies, but the delivery of those policies is what's caused me to cancel my membership. I've had great experiences here up until the last few months. I've seen Aradia enforce the gyms policies to members several times, and a few be a bit of a confrontation. Ive always had my head phones on, so never knew why people seemed bothered till I experienced it today. I had a family member call me which was an important call. I did not know the policy of no phone calls on the floor. She walked up to me and started repeating to me that I needed to get of the floor with my phone. The person on the phone was in the process of praying over me which I tried to explain. I asked her to give me a moment, but she kept repeating the policy until I walked away from her. Again, if this is the policy, I can respect that, but i Feel this could have been handled differently. After my workout, I asked if she could help me cancel my membership. She apologize that I feel I had to leave due to their policy. I explained I am not leaving due to your policy but the delivery of enforcing it. I asked if she could have asked me to get off the phone or waited till the call was finished to inform me. She interrupted me and said they Are instructed to interrupt members. I reviewed the policy and do not see this written in. I did see that PF's policy is the following, "Respect and courtesy are essential components of a comfortable, Judgement Free Zone®." This is why I am writing this and cancelling my membership. Unacceptable. I welcome anyone in management to please reach out for further detail. read more

I have contacted this location on multiple occasions to cancel my membership since it was my "home" gym. After many failed attempts it was finally cancelled. However, 4 months after canceling I am STILL getting billed monthly. I have reached out to planet fitness customer service and the locations staff but just keep getting redirected. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend signing up unless you want to keep paying for a membership you no longer have. read more

The staff here is great! So friendly and inviting. There are ample machines (I.e. treadmill, bikes, weights, as so on). The place is really clean and everyone working out seem friendly and they do their part to clean off machines as they use them. The ladies locker room is clean and spacious. They do have a tanning bed and massage chairs for those who get the upgraded packages, and they also have training if you would like. It's a great gym that gives you everything you need to get or stay healthy. I see all ages, bodies and builds here doing there thing and feeling good. read more

Great for beginners to intermediate gym goers. The club in Parker is clean and staff are friendly. Hours are much better during the week (and comparable on the weekend) to other '24 hour' fitness clubs. Plenty of machines and cardio equipment. Less so for barbell and dumbbell training. Dumbbells are limited to 75lb max if that is a concern for you. All in all, a great starter to intermediate gym at a very reasonable monthly rate with generally more hours available than most other gyms around. read more

Horrible. Don't bring a gym bag unless you want to keep it in the locker and go back each time for your items. Management is not good at all. Cancelled my membership because of this! I have been going to Planet Fitness for 2 years and not once in those two years did I get approached about my bag. And now all of a sudden?! And mind you... it was in the middle of a workout! Like WHAT?!?!! So unprofessional. At least notify me when I leave! I always keep my bag out of the way and not in any pathways. It was actually against a wall on a bench! Lol and they told me it is to avoid tripping Incidents. Please tell me how someone is going to trip on my bag that is on a bench. LOL It's outrageous. When I cancelled my membership, no one even tried to get me to stay! Lol It was horrible customer service as well. Ugh ! Wow! I lived in Oklahoma and moved out to Colorado about a year ago. I changed gyms across Oklahoma and it was pretty average to pay ~$35/person. This gym is no contract for only $10 a month! That's pretty super! I like how when signing up, the lady said, "we don't cater to body builders." It's very intimidating to see body builders, especially when they are sharing the same bench as you are. There are a lot of pretty "buff" people here, but it's different than in normal gyms. They have the "black" membership that adds things like massage chair, hydro massages, tanning, etc. when going on cruises, I like to get tan before going, so I don't get burnt while being down there. This black membership gives unlimited tanning and the membership is only $22 per month!! I would pay $35 for the gym in Oklahoma AND another ~$40 to get access to tanning! I think I'm going to upgrade my membership here soon! read more

We understand there can be errors with billing banking with ACH banking memberships. The little assistant manger that wears a small polo needs to calm down with shaking us down an pulling us off the workout floor. He lets his co-workers give us access then he puffs up his chest and starts in. The error was actually done when a membership person had no idea how to write the membership flipped it on us and blamed us. I've been running health clubs for many years. You never stop members workout. He also put a long note about us in the checkin screen so everyone reads at checkin and gives us dirty looks that works there. The club is new the equipment is nice but I would look some where else. read more
