Can't say enough great things about Burn-Parker. I have been a member for two months and it has…read moretruly been the best gym experience I have ever had. I've always been the type to workout solo at a box gym but found myself in a rut and bored with my gym routine. I did the free 3-day trial and was instantly hooked. I have felt so welcome from the moment I walked through the doors. It is such a fun, positive and supportive gym environment with all skill levels and ages. Burn is now a part of my daily routine and is the best part of my day. I'm challenged daily and can see improvements in my physique and endurance in the 2 months I've been going. The owner Rita is very active with her gym, members and staff and you can tell she truly cares. She's the best (shout out to Mamma Rita!). You will not only get an amazing workout, you will build relationships and get to be a part of such an amazing community of people. If you are on the fence, give it a try. I promise you won't regret it.

Rita and Malia are absolute powerhouses! Their energy is contagious, and they always know how to push you to your limits while making the workouts fun. Rita's enthusiasm keeps me going even when I want to give up, and Malia's encouragement and motivation helps me believe in myself and strive for more. They truly care about each member's progress and are always there to offer guidance and support. I love how the trainers create a positive and inclusive environment that makes you feel like part of a family. I'm so grateful for the motivation and support I receive every day. I had no idea Generation Fitness existed until I saw a Groupon for them a week ago. I bought one…read morefor me and another for my husband. Josh is the owner/trainer and offers Boot Camp classes held out of Alpha Gymnastics gym before they open. As of now, the classes are at 6:30A Wed and 7:30A Sat(OUCH) and I've attended one of each the past week. 6-8 students on Wed and 10-15 Sat. About 60-70% women so a nice mix for a fitness class. It's like high school gym class on crack but Josh is SUPER-FANTASTIC and tries to push you to your limit while providing alternatives to people with injuries. He has such creative exercises and makes it a fun time. After Wednesday's class, my abs and inner thighs knew I did a HARD workout. The gym is extremely hard to find, even with 2 GPS's so make sure you speak with Josh beforehand about directions if you plan to check it out. I was driving around in the dark for 20 minutes thinking I'd have to return home without my workout. Would have killed me so I kept looking til I ended up going through an alley that ended up being the right way.

Been going to Pilates reformer on and off for YEARS. I usually love the relaxing and welcoming…read moreenvironments the reformer classes have. The low impact and exceptional core work is my favorite. I'm new to this side of town and decided to give this place a try. I am highly disappointed. Studio is nice and clean. Pricy but most reformer classes are. Yuan was my instructor and bc of her, I won't be back to try a different class or instructor. It was so bad. I felt like she knew a great deal about Pilates but not fitness or anatomy I'm general. I'm not a Pilates expert by any means, but I do work in fitness and consider myself to be pretty fit. I was so belittled with her passive aggressive comments throughout class. Everything from "you're fit but not Pilates fit" to "this is not for everyone" came out of her mouth. I felt like she thrived on making people feel small around her. I was definitely not the only one uncomfortable. Pilates is for everyone and so is all of fitness. Do yourself a favor and go to Boost Pilates instead.

You had to wait until the billing goes through to book a class but by then you were often on a wait list and didn't get in. Then you would get the next two classes, but then when you go to book the third you would have a problem if it were within a few days of your next billing date. The system would ask you for a credit card. I cancelled my membership because of not liking to get ripped off but of course they had a reason to charge me again since I didn't give them the complete thirty day notice. I would recommend not using them if you don't like to waste your money.
