There is a ton of cardio machines from treadmills, to ellipticals, and bikes. Hey, if you want to watch a movie while you work out there is even a cardio theather to take your mind off the pain. In addition, there are a ton of resistance and weight machines and a couple of cable crossover machines so rarely are you waiting for your turn. My favorite part of the gym is the weight area where they actually have real barbells, a squat rack, bench presses and heavy dumbbells. People in there all seem to mind their own business and are serious about working out- whatever their method of choice is. As an out of towner, I love that I can buy a 2 week membership for $25, even if I'm only home a few days. The purple place across the street is not nearly as nice at Retro and wanted $20 a day! I've enjoyed working out here many times on visits into town and I plan on coming back!

In particular, Pilates with Tanya Grillon and her Staff at Bousquet Sports is excellent. My health and physical condition have improved significantly while attending Tanya's classes. She is quite clear with her instruction and was very patient with this Pilates beginner. I am in my eightieth year with many of the aches and pains that accompany my maturity. Twice weekly Pilates has alleviated my discomforts. In my experience, Tanya is among the best coaches and trainers with whom I have worked. My experience with sports and coaching includes currently refereeing high school lacrosse games, playing football through the college level and coaching youth, high school and college football, as well as, girls' youth and AAU basketball. I just experience this fitness center for the very first time today and after spending nearly 3 hours playing pickle ball, boxing, stretching, and hitting the weights, I've got to say... it's an incredible facility! Everything feels brand new. The machines look and feel perfect, the equipment is all neatly organized and the staff are super welcoming. I couldn't find a single flaw!

These classes were amazing and so were the energetic, friendly and skilled instructors whose creativity and personalities powered the classes.. I am 76 1/2 years old and felt perfectly comfortable in an environment where I was encouraged to go at my own pace. My husband felt totally comfortable in the Barre class as did the other man there.Excellent management. Can't wait to return with an unlimited class membership.

I was immediately assisted by Joel, a very patient knowledgeable resource. He listened to me talk about the many ups and downs in my relationship with running; he even looked at my old running shoes while assessing me. He did thorough measurements and studied my gait; he than retreated to the store room and made a selection of the shoes he thought would be the best for me and my issues. I would recommend this store to anyone in the Berkshire area; it is above and beyond the best place to get a shoe. The Berkshire running center is truly a personalized experience UPDATE (9/2/2020) A few weeks after wearing my new running shoes the sole began falling apart, I contacted Berkshire running center and they allowed me to exchange those shoes for a completely different pair that would more satisfy my needs! I am beyond amazed with this customer service! I also once again sing the praises of Joel; if he is working you must get him to fit you for shoes!
