I have gained and lost many pounds only to ultimately fail and return to being morbidly obese. Luckily i met Melony's husband who introduced me to her and I finally decided to take the plunge and hire a personal trainer/nutritional consultant. During our first meeting Melony took the time to understand where I am regarding my fitness/nutrition level and clearly explained what steps I needed to take to lose weight and get healthy. I appreciated her nutritional/fitness counseling and it has continued over the last five weeks. She is very easy to talk to and has a clear understanding of the difficulties of losing weight and what it takes to get healthy. What I needed was a fitness coach who cares and Melony does. I also like how she helps me feel accountable, there's something about hiring someone at the beginning of your journey and knowing you are going to weigh in weekly with them watching and "the scale don't lie". Since our first meeting we have met on average twice a week and she reviews my fitness app and we discuss what I am eating and what other fitness activities I am doing to help me reach my goal. Then we workout together. I appreciate the different exercises we do that not only improve my strength but help me with my agility. I can feel myself getting stronger and though I have a long way to go I'm glad I took the first step. In summary, I strongly recommend you choose Melony as your personal trainer and nutritionist. If your like me and have struggled with your weight and fitness, do yourself a favor and get the help you need. I'm glad i did and look forward to changing my life in a healthy way with Melony's help and guidance.

The owner is very nice, he greeted me and took the time to show me around the facility. The atmosphere was great, it was very clean and I liked the layout. There was a wide variety of equipment and it wasn't overcrowded. If I'm ever in the area again this will be my go to place to get my workout in. Highly recommend this gym!

Transition was good but over the past two years, the gym as went down hill fast. Cleaning is pretty much non existent. Bathroom/lockers are not maintained. Ceiling fans were removed during "Covid remodel" and were never replaced so no air circulates. Cardio equipment is terrible and not maintained or cleaned. Equipment is not wiped down unless the user puts forth the effort and many don't. I would just say, if you were thinking about joining, just take a close look. Look at machines, under the cardio equipment, conditions of bathrooms, paper towel dispensers, hand sanitization dispenser (have been empty for at least two months). Left a review on their Facebook page and it was removed so the 5 star rating would not take a hit. It's sad to see the main gym in Tullahoma in this condition.

If you are looking for a group activity this is not it. I did not like that you had to reserve classes in advance and are charged for late cancels. My schedule is busy and not always predictable, so that did not work for me. I would not recommend this gym if you are looking for group fitness classes and need flexibility.

John, the chief instructor, is unusually patient with new students plus has instructs using multiple perspectives of self-defense, jiu jitsu competitor, and MMA fighter. He also recognizes that some students want to compete and some only want to learn some new skills or get in shape. He sets classes up for both types of serious or more casual students. The facility is kept super clean, has plenty of space to work, and even allows students to go to the other school called Tenacity in Tracy City, TN. I have been here for several months and have learned a lot of techniques from John that I have never seen and are practical. I highly recommend for all ages.
