The stalls, arenas, aisles, paddocks, tack room, lounge, bathroom are always clean and tidy. Everything is easily accessible; i.e., brooms, muck buckets and rakes, trash bins, extra ropes and halters. There are beautiful trails on the property to enjoy all year round. The barn owner and manager, Hannah, lives onsite. She updates the boarders frequently regarding their horses well-being. Whether it's incoming in-climate weather, a health concern, and everything in between, Hannah keeps in contact consistently with the horse owners to keep us updated and informed. She is an honest, responsible barn owner and has the horses/owners best interests in mind. The staff at FTC are wonderful and I am very grateful for them! They are so friendly, hardworking, and trustworthy. I appreciate that Hannah's children help around the property as well. They are always respectful and helpful. I enjoy talking with them about what they are most excited about that day. I was very green when I started my lessons with Hannah in summer of 2017. I have learned so much and continue to learn every week. Hannah is patient and takes the time explain to make sure I understand. She also helped me with the purchase of my horse who is boarded at FTC. Faith Training Center offers excellent horse training as well. I had a few issues addressed with my horse and I was updated on his progress regularly. I noticed a significant difference after just a short time in the training program. Hannah hosts so many fun activities at the barn quite often. She organizes trail rides, obstacle course rides, fun competitions, barn shows, clinics, potlucks, and bonfires for the boarders! They are always a blast! I truly feel like I have a 2nd family at FTC, my barn family! Jack and I love Faith Training Center! Likewise, the bathrooms really smell bad, or there is the lingering ghost like smell of cigarettes past. So when I visited the Wawasee Bowl last month, this was what I was expecting to encounter. However, when I walked into the place I was really amazed. My friend Jenny told me the bowling center had been completely renovated over the past year, and it looks very bright and fantastic to say the least. The automatic scoring has been replaced, and the lanes were completely redone. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to bowl at Wawasee, but I can tell you the food is excellent! When one thinks of the culinary offerings at a bowling center, greasy burgers, pizza, french fries, and heartburn all come to mind. In fact, I was feeling apprehensive since I didn't bring any Alka-Seltzer with me. So I decided that since it was Friday, I would try their fish fry, and I was very happy that I did, as it was very good! Jenny, told me that the Wawasee Bowl also serves up some great lunch specials. The next time I go to northern Indiana, I plan stopping in and trying them. The only reason I didn't give this review a 5, is because I didn't bowl why I was there. With that said, next time I will bring my ball and shoes with me. This place is what every small town bowling center should strive to be.

The arboretum is about a half block in size with paved walking paths between the trees. There are picnic tables and benches including a large limestone block on the west end. In addition to the trees (some are identified), there is a carved stone Seal of Indiana on the west half of the park. Because of its size, the park only takes a short stroll to wander through. The trees are finally getting some size, but I wouldn't consider them mature trees which leads me to believe the arboretum isn't very old. The park was in pretty clean shape, but there were quite a few patches of lawn that needed watering in mid-September. I wonder if the park will look bare once Autumn brings the falling leaves. It is a quiet and restful place to visit. The amount of time you spend here is really up to you. Not a tourist attraction. Review #3073

After about an hour of different techniques, that she thoroughly explained as she went, my pain had subsided. She gave me some stretches to do at home to help with my muscle tension and made sure I didn't have any questions. This community is very lucky to have a place like The Union and Sandy.
