This is a smaller planet fitness in Yukon, Oklahoma, outside the Oklahoma City area and was pretty convenient to where we were camping. I've never seen so many cardio machines, though, lol. They could probably stand to lose a couple on the end by the wall, so you could at least exit to the other side of the gym. As it stands right now, it's three solid rows of cardio equipment. You have to walk all the way back up to the front near the check-in desk to get around them so it's oddly set up. I like the fact that they did have at least five or six little spots where you could do mat work- so many clubs have limited the space so this was really nice! It's clean, they were mopping and vacuuming while we were there and the front desk staff were very friendly. Everything seemed to be in working order as well. DO NOT sign up for this shit hole of a business! Go somewhere else so you don't waste your money. The bathrooms are unkept in both mens and women's. Used the mens handicap stall and no toilet paper available. This absolutely pissed me off. I told the young man staff at the counter and he acted as if he didn't give a shit. Maybe you should inform your manager. This issue was present before I artived at 6:30 am. He said, he (the manager) was on the night shift and just left. There was toilet paper on the floor. A urinal was bagged and inoperative. And I pay monthly for this crap. I told my wife in the lobby the state of the mens bathroom and she said the women's were the same. It's a tight squeeze between all the machines, and not that many bench/squat racks. However the staff is always on top of cleaning, never problems with broken equipment or nasty/broken locker rooms. The staff is always super nice, and greeting with a smile. The evening assistant manager is also cool. I'd recommend this place for a good pump, just nothing serious with PF lunk alarms read more

It's everything we need. Open all the time, clean, easy access and parking, conscientious staff and guests.

Staff are never helpful, only rude and Nazi like in enforcing their rules that aren't based in reason, but in an appearance of acceptance. No free weights, strict dress code, over-sanitizing every machine 100 times a day with the yellow sticky sanitizer, broken machines that aren't fixed for a month, and out of shape personal trainers. This gym has a lunk alarm scaring off serious lifters and a no big water bottle policy. The best plate machines are in their cycle room, which they bar u from using if u don't use the dozen machines u don't want to use in order. I've been a member of 6-8 gyms and never had issue with my clothes, my water bottles, and the order/way in which I work out. I pay to use the equipment, and for a judgement free zone, this hippie cult of a gym has micro managed how I dress, how/when I use equipment and even the manner in which I work out. New trainer telling me I couldn't use equipment no one else is using was the final straw to break away. THIS ISN'T A TRADITIONAL GYM. it's a movement to change HOW we view fitness and work out, and it's a woke future of weakness. read more

This gym is has the basics and a great atmosphere. For $10 a month you get access to the gym which has a great very large cardio area, a weight area, an ab and stretching area and a circuit room. Really it's everything you could need unless your a bodybuilder and needed 100lb dumbbells (they don't have) it's a 24 hour gym and open most days except major holidays. It's also staffed 24 hours. Very clean and has its perks for $20 a month - you can tan and they do have great well kept tanning beds, massage chairs and water massage things. Also and this is a huge plus for the $20 you can use any planet fitness gym. I personally travel and went to Arkansas last week and used the local planet fitness in that city. They are everywhere. Well worth the $20 a month!! read more

Not bad. The staff is professional and does a good job keeping the place clean. There are usually enough weight racks when I visit. I have heard complaints that dumbbells only go to 25lb at planet fitness... that is not true for this location; they have weights all the way to 75lb, which is more than adequate. I had to laugh at the "judgement free zone" slogan when I saw one of the staff carrying a gallon jug of water, since that is apparently a sign of being a "lunk". No judgement unless you are what they say is a "lunk"... I think corporate needs to rethink some things. The lunk alarm is a dumb gimmick. I have never heard it go off. read more

Okay I signed up first of January, been going 3 times a week.. First of all they have yet to get a trainer.. Nope!! They don't tell when you sign up your basically on your own. Basically my contract is no good because you have not held up you're end of the deal!! I've had to figure out what I could.watching other members, I over heard the morning girl telling other members she doesn't think they'll get a trainer because of low pay, and she's quitting soon, The other thing is watch your belongings obviously they let non members in to locker room and they cut off locks and stole items .. They should be checking everyone through the door. I've seen 3 to 4 employees behind that desk at one time guess it's a hard job to make sure only members get in.. I've had a planet fitness membership for multiple years, both in Kansas and Oklahoma, and can unequivocally state the Yukon location is the worst I've experienced. I've had several issues since establishing Yukon as my "home gym," which I haven't had with the other gyms. The front-desk staff in particular is poorly managed at this location. Additionally, I've been overcharged some months and have had other months were I wasn't charged at all. Seems to be a poorly managed company, but "you get what you pay for." The low cost is not worth the headaches you will receive - steer clear! read more

I usually like this Planet Fitness location, but today was a little different. It was my understanding that the room with massafe chairs was ti be occupied by one person at a time. Not today though...I was sitting in the massage chair and a lady came in and started using rhe other one. Aaannnd...she dud spray down her chair before using it, but excuse me...maybe you should wait until tbe other person us done. I'm still choking on the mist from that spray. Great place to workout lots of great equipment and most people clean after themselves however not so much judgement free you'll have two buff guys staring at you while you're doing your thing talking about you, next time I'm gonna say something to em and I might get beat up but that is not right especially in the one gym that's supposed to be judgement free. read more

this is the worst PF I've been to. I signed up here but had not been in to this particular location until a few nights ago. the night staff is ridiculously rude and the vibes they give you when you ask questions because they seem to have different rules than other locations, is unwelcoming and they talked to me like I was an idiot. i did not like the atmosphere it wasn't as welcoming and non judgmental (like they claim they are) as other locations. I brought my mother in law here for her first night at the gym and I felt bad because it was just an awful experience! brookwood PF is where it's at! It's crazy because I used to love going to this gym, and I went 4-5 days a week. One day after being a member for quite a while at this facility, I came in carrying a gallon of water...like many people do who like staying hydrated while on certain supplements, protein, etc. A female employee (manager)then proceeded to tell me that I can't bring that in because I basically resemble a body builder and that I will intimidate other people in the gym...??? Da fuck?? I'm sorry but I'm really not concerned with what someone drinks water out of when I go to the gym. These people are jokes and needless to say I cancelled my gym membership that day. They would rather lose a membership of recurring revenue then just let you bring in a gallon of water to drink during your workout...I had to laugh at them uncontrollably. GO TO GOLD'S GYM. They don't discriminate against you like Planet Fitness does in their supposed "judgement free zone." read more

This is not a gym. The manager came from Southside OKC PF last year and is not professional. The staff knows next to nothing about how to workout and are not helpful. This is a cardio floor with little free weights. Real fitness enthusiasts look at other options. read more
