As with many craft stores, some things are excellent value and other things seem remarkably expensive. They have seemingly unlimited selection of COLOR ORGANIZED ribbon, flowers, adornments for mums and wreathes, supplies for making wreathes.... There's so much. I'm pretty sure my brain was glitching the entire time I was shopping. I ended up with an assortment of potential projects on top of what I already had to do. Anyway, I had so much fun here and I can't wait to go back!

This is a school/store that works with glass cutting, stained glass making, and kilning flat glass works. They sell all the glass and glass supplies. They even have books and newsletters where you can copy someone's design. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They took us around and showed us all the workshops, kilns, and supplies that they offer. We were stunned to see the colorful displays of the students' works shining in the windows. The staff is so friendly, and obviously passionate about their art! They're happy to help and answer any questions. It's a wonderful community resource! I can't wait to take a class here!

You do pay one studio fee and you can go back as many times as you need to! Also during the snow storm expected in San Antonio I passed by asking what paint they use for me to buy it from a Walmart or somewhere... they packed me few small containers with colors for me to do it at home! How sweet and convenient is that? This will be my go to place for group activities with friends and family!

I would give 5 stars because we have continually gone back but I feel like more can be done to show what products are available. It's a silly complaint but I'm always a little bummed when I don't see a piece I would like to work on so I settle for something affordable. (Which in my experience range from $18, 22, 28, 34, etc. I am sure there are ones more/less costly) I also understand some items maybe seasonal or limited but I think snapping a couple pictures and updating their "inventory" on Facebook/Instagram a little more often could go a long way. Lastly, we have found ourselves wanting to go to the store a few times but arrive and realize they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When I described what I wasn't finding and asked when there might be more selection, I was told "what we get is there, I have no control over what the truck brings". The employee turned and moved on. Five minutes later on a different aisle when I had found what I was looking for, they (same employee), asked me again the same question. I replied "I didn't value the first response, why would I waste my time". This incident would not normally be the meat and potatoes of a review, but the employee appeared to be representing management. I will attempt shopping here again and hope for a better response to a request for green yarn.

We arrived a bit early and Lillian quickly whipped us up a welcome cocktail which she called "A Walk in the Garden". It was a prosecco based cocktail and absolutely delicious (and pretty). While we enjoyed this cocktail and looked around the shop... she prepared the workshop space for the lesson. The birthday girl had been given a list of cocktails in advance and was able to select the ones she wanted to learn how to make (she selected the Blackberry Smash & Bee's Knees). One thing I loved about this class is that Lillian gave options with each cocktail so that everyone would end up with a drink they loved. For example, if you don't like bourbon which is typically in a Bee's Knees... you could use gin instead! Then we had the options to make it spicy/sweet/herbal/ etc. By the end of the class... we all had different and personalized cocktails. In addition to the cocktails, Lillian prepared a large bowl of popcorn with specialty seasonings and showed us some of the fun tools that can be used for different prep methods. We also had downtime between making each drink to enjoy them and chat amongst ourselves. This class made for the perfect outing... we're already talking about doing another for the next girl's weekend. I cannot recommend this class enough and will absolutely be back!

Lillian was a great teacher and host. She has aprons and leis so the vibes were perfect. The location is a cute bungalow tucked behind another business on Main Street (kind of easy to miss if you're looking for it right on Main Street). The business started at the beginning of the year, so it's fairly new, but add it to your list of things to do if you're in the Boerne area!
