I asked around and multiple folks said Gaspar's is good, except I wanted craft sausage from a mom & pop. Was finally told to check out Butcher Shop. Called and confirmed they made in house and ordered 20 lbs on the spot. Great people, asked how I wanted it made (spicy) and when I needed it. Stopped on way to Providence airport from the Cape and was blown away when I walked in the store. Such delicious smells, what an amazing spread of prepared foods - and so much more. Then the magic moment arrived, and the box appeared. Words can't describe the delicious aroma, it looked fantastic and all I needed to do was get it home safely. This was a few days ago and I've eaten it every day since - turns out 20 lbs wasn't really enough (thankfully they will ship). Hands down the best linguiça I've ever had and one of the best sausages I've ever eaten. This place is the real deal. Wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and check them out. They even had specials on a white board. I ended up ordering a tea and the crabby man special. This special had a crab cake, bacon, eggs, toast, and homefries! All for $11.50. You can't beat that price. The crab cake was made with imitation crab but it was still delicious. I liked the breading they used and the portion was large. My eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. Bacon was nice and crisp. Home fries could have used more seasoning but were cooked well. Toast needed a little more time in the toaster. But overall, for the price this was a great meal! My friend and significant other enjoyed their meals as well. Jake's may not be my go to spot in Fairhaven but I'm happy with the service and food I had today! And $38 before tip for 3 people with three meals and three drinks is an absolute steal.

G said it was one of the best salads ever. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup (finally). And I loved it -- thick, rich, and tasty. But next time... a cup of soup and a mini sandwich.
