Found this lil cafe on this yelp site . I was looking to explore some new cafe's and this lil gem popped up. Across from Charlton hospital. It's kinda hidden but not really. It's an adorable coffee shop and vegan lunch spot. I was told they've been there coming up on 7 years! We ordered our iced coffee which was perfectly made. I had the chick pea Pennine which was delicious and a cinnamon twist. They have a pretty extensive menu. Also ample tables, WiFi for worker bees and outside tables on a cute porch in the warmer weather. Parking is available in the back which was great! All was well. A definite try. read more

Hard to review a place when you've only had a takeout wrap. But it was a nice find in a really lovely part of Fall River. I got a falafel wrap and it was very good. And huge. Staff was very nice. This is one of my favorite places to eat. We lived in Massachusetts for 6 months and found this gem. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, the staff treat guests like family and the outside seating is perfect. It's like going home after being gone for years. Gave this place a try. I'm vegetarian and Fall River doesn't offer a lot of options for vegetarians. I ordered the Greek wrap and it was fresh and delicious. I also got the pineapple and coconut refresher which was a drink special and it was sweet but not too sweet just right. The cafe is cute with some inside seating and a small seating area outside. One of my favorite local vegan places! The food is so, so good, and I love that there are lots of gluten free options as well. The inside is cozy and warm, and very welcoming. The service is always fast, and friendly and they remember you! My only negative is I wish they opened earlier so I could get some coffee and breakfast before work - but I'm sure my wallet and waist appreciate that. read more

I won a gift card about two years ago at an event! I had heard nothing but good things about this place. My husband and I were lazy on this rainy afternoon and decided let's use the gift card. Wonderful little vegan cafe in Fall River! I happened to be in the area and went for a walk to check it out. Friendly staff, adorable decor, chill place right across from what looks like a hospital. Healthy as well as comfort food options. The vegan (oat milk) peppermint mocha latte I got was delicious! The sweet potato burrito was a little bland, but super healthy, so I was fine with that. Service here has REALLY gone down hill over the last few months. I only eat here once in a while, but I won't be going back. Staff are rude (no hello or thank you - just "what do you want" and "here ya go") and take forever just to get a fairly simple drink - that they got wrong and gave me attitude for asking them to remake it. Old staff were MUCH friendlier and made sure my order was right. I know it's hard to get good staff these days - but you have to be able to do better than this... read more

Love having access to vegan options so close to home. The Buffalo pasta salad is a must I grab almost every order but there's not a sandwich I haven't liked. The inside has limited seating. In the summer sitting outside can be nice but if you're there during a busy time you might opt for to-go. read more

Super good option for vegan food. The place is 100% vegan and seems to do everything well. We had the breakfast panini, wrap and tacos and all were delicious. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and ambience is cute and cozy. There is plenty of seating at non peak times that is all first come first serve. I would go back here anytime. I've eaten here many times and have always been delighted! The workers are friendly, happy, busy and so pleasant. The coffee is fresh, flavorful .. simply delicious! I had a vanilla latte today and it was brewed to perfection and just sweet enough. Delish. The black bean/sweet potato "burger" was out of this world, absolutely delicious. Topped with fresh avocado, tomato, lettuce and the tastiest dressing ever. Five stars all around, again Sweet Rose Cafe! We will be back very soon. Cool vegan spot in a nice part of Fall River. I liked the vibe here, really laid back and nice people. Food was okay. I got their Caribbean wrap which had avocado, jerk sauce and pineapple salsa. I also tried their Butternut Burrito with avocado, caramelized onions and quinoa. Both wraps were $9.50, but they were a little lacking in flavor. Each could have used more sauce. However, their Oreo Brownie bar was so good. Fudgey and super tasty. $2.75 Pretty small portions for my liking, but I expect that at all vegan joints. read more

Sweet Rose Cafe is a sweet little breakfast and lunch place with yummy baked goods in the heart of Fall River. I am vegan and we have enjoyed coming here about five times in the last year. While everyone is polite and the food is good the service can be slow. Often if I go with a friend and order before her. I am still waiting for my drink and meal way after she has received hers. We also have had to go back up and inquire about a sandwich or a drink because it never arrives. This week my fiance and I stopped by on our way back from a trip both tired and hungry. We ordered chickpea paninis which were yummy and also some food to go. It was an hour before closing and noticing there weren't a lot of desserts left we were happy to request the last peanut butter vegan chocolate chip cookie. While eating our sandwiches we realized it wasn't given to us. When we went up to show our receipt and ask for it the cookie was gone. I'm not sure if the staff ate it or what but it was a bummer. I've never been in there when it's busy and yet they struggle with the orders. We were given another dessert which neither of us wanted. I do hope ordering and service can improve and that they keep track of their orders better. I'm not sure we will be back. Too many issues. read more

If you're vegan or vegetarian, you won't find a wider selection for breakfast or lunch. The menu is HUGE and features breakfasts with vegan eggs, avocado toasts, salads, soups, paninis, quinoa bowls, sandwiches, wraps. If you want vegan protein, you will find many, many items on the menu. But lottsa vegetarian fare as well. Wish the Cafe had opened before I retired. read more

This was my third visit to Sweet Rose for lunch. I had the Hawaiian Bowl, which now comes with roasted chickpeas instead of jackfruit. I sat outside on a rare sunny day in March and they brought the bowl out to me. The serving size was 2 1/2 portions! Everything was so fresh and together tasted very good. Next time, I may ask for them to "go light" on the BBQ but other than that, it was great once again! read more

I first heard of Sweet Rose Cafe when my friend was kind enough to bring me some of their vegan cupcakes. Even without dairy or eggs, the Oreo cupcakes were some of the best cupcakes I've tasted! They rotate the flavors out pretty frequently. They can run out so if you want to guarantee you're able to get some cupcakes, you can order online or call ahead. After trying their amazing cupcakes I knew I had to make a trip to Fall River and see Sweet Rose Cafe for myself. Sweet Rose Cafe is located in a cozy house on a residential street, so you really feel like you're going to someone's house for lunch. There are plenty of tables outside on the porch and the lawn for when the weather is nice! Lots of people were coming over for lunch from the hospital across the street or hanging out doing work using the free wifi. And the staff are super friendly! They originally had a bit of trouble finding my online order but got it straightened out quickly. The 100% vegan menu is giant, with a combination of healthy options like salads, smoothies, and grain bowls, and classic comfort foods like meatball subs and breakfast sandwiches. My friends and I split the caesar salad with quinoa & avocado ($11.50) and a panini with soy curls, pesto, and vegan cheese ($8.95). The salad was generous but the panini was a bit small (maybe because we got it on gluten free bread). Oh well, just means we had room left for dessert! They have a huge selection of pastries. Besides the delicious cupcakes, I also tried the decadent peanut butter brownie. Almost everything can be made gluten free, so there are options to fit any dietary needs. They also make a ton of specialty coffee drinks, matcha, and more! Sweet Rose Cafe is a really cute cafe in Fall River. I'll probably crave their cupcakes and pastries more than their savory options, but if I lived nearby I'm sure I would come here all the time! read more

Wow! Now I understand where all the hype is coming from. This little cafe nestled in the heart of Highland Ave is changing the culinary climate of Fall River in a big way. I will state I myself am not vegan, but I love when places like these pop up that expose people to new food options and lifestyles. The cafe itself is beautifully constructed, sort of a contemporary, farmhouse hipstery-vibe, everyone working there was extremely helpful in explaining their menu and offering recommendations. I had their Soyrizo wrap and WOW, blown away. Crispy, fried up bits of what I assume to be tempeh tossed in curry spices, with vegan egg and cheese and sweet potatoes in a spinach wrap. Every flavor was perfectly balanced and every bite was more or less guilt-free. My wife's "egg" sandwich was also quite good, and I found their vegan bacon to be especially great. I should also note, they offer a substitute for REAL eggs and cheese on request, so if you don't think you can do vegan, don't let that deter you from stopping by, if you come on a Sat morning, you may see me face-first in a soyrizo wrap. Everything I have had here has been great. I would have no idea that it's vegan if I wasn't told. My favorites (so far) are the pressed pesto panini and the California veggie. A must for vegans. Tried the taco wrap and TLT and both tasted great. As a former restaurant owner, I could tell that a lot of care went into designing these sandwiches, from the perfect mix of ingredients and choice of bread to it's actual construction.
