Not like there's a lot of other choices around here. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and I had the broasted chicken tenders....and let me tell you. Those might have been the best chicken strips I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. The outside was perfectly crispy and not overly oily. The chicken inside was amazingly juicy, tender, and had good flavor. And they had a tasty Filipino hot sauce at the table along with the ketchup. It did take a while to come out, enough for us to almost go up and check on the food. So I'm not sure if it's because they were perfecting the chicken inside the back...because it was as close to perfect as I've had! It was fine as we enjoyed the small town feel of people coming in and out on a first name basis. It really seemed like the happening place in town. So if you ever find yourself coming through the area, I highly recommend stopping for some broasted chicken at Roadside Food and Fuel!

They also have a solid selection of drinks and a good variety of beer on tap -- definitely didn't expect that out here! Tried walleye for the first time too -- really tasty! Just a heads-up: the seasoning on everything is pretty mild, so you might want to add a little salt, pepper, or ranch depending on your taste. If you're driving through, don't miss this place!
