I came early there was only one person ahead of me it didn't take long to get back but once I talked to a lady and had my vitals taken I was send to room to wait for an hour and I noticed two girls that came after me were called before me. Mind you I'm just here for birth control and all I can hear is constant laughing coming from the workers as me and one other person is in the waiting room from the people who work not doing their job. I complained about the unprofessional conduct to be told they are short staffed and only have two people working. I like that they accept walk-ins. Didn't feel judged, most of the staff are friendly, they have the morning after pill there they don't just hand you a prescription like other locations. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars is the other patients in waiting room but I do realize that's just a normal part of the area read more

I had a horrible experience at this location. As a patient I expected to be listened to and have all my concerns attended to. I went in for a particular check and I begged the doctor to please check on one of my concerns and she said you're fine don't worry without checking on me and I pleaded and begged for ten minutes until she finally gave in to check and once she checked I had an infection and had to take medicine for it. I just have to say when people voice their concerns as a health care facility you should listen and be attentive to all issues stated. The worst experience I have ever had. I left so upset and saddened that they couldn't even give me the rest of my results. read more

First and for most I met A lady name Natalie and talk about an angel she is truly a one in 1 million and I'm so beyond blessed to have had her help me out! The hours are listed from 9am - 5pm, does not state anywhere that they will not accept walk-ins after 3:30pm. Wasted time, gas and money to come after work to be turned away. No regard for the clientele. Even when appointments are made the wait time is extremely long. Staff is too busy talking with each other rather than getting people in and out efficiently. If you try and call the location no one seems to answer the phone. Terrible service. Regardless of the profession of helping people in need does not give you a pass to slack off at the job. Being forced to go to Emergency or wait an entire day for test or treatment can be a huge difference, but they don't seem to care at this location. read more

Came here one time and my impression of this place is that it's scary because the double doors and weird window to get in. Kinda felt like a pawn shop where they buzz you in...Anyway they pretty much wasted my time while inside and they couldn't even help me. I don't know if they were punishing me for reviewing badly but I'm back again with yet another one. Nurse said she sent my prescription to Walmart, that I shouldn't have to bring anything, and I'm covered by Medi-Cal. I go to Walmart and they say its not covered and I have to pay $30 for my pills. I really wish this clinic was as good as it used to be. I've wasted so much time with them and have no choice but to go because there is not another Planned Parenthood I know of in Palmdale. read more

I have been going here for a year & a half, but today is the last time I come. Even when you make an appointment you can still end up waiting for a while. When I first came here everything was good. Nurses were always friendly. The OBGYN was okay when I got my pap done. I liked this place. Then a month ago I came for a birth control refill & for an exam on a mass in my breast. The OBYGN was rushed & completely dismissed the pain. She reluctantly felt my breast & said there was nothing there. Impossible. I could feel it & so could my partner. I was very disappointed with the OBYGN. The OBGYN also decided to only give me a month supply of pills, to see if some other symptoms I had changed. I came today to get a refill & to update the doctor on the symptoms & to get a second opinion on a possible diagnosis, but the intake nurse would not let me see a OBYGN. She just kept telling me to deal with my new doctor. It was frustrating talking to the nurse. It didn't even seem like she understood what was going on. She did leave the room, I assume to consult with someone else, but it was for naught. I did not get birth control nor a second opinion. Ladies, Planned Parenthood knew about my issues & all they did was try to throw a bandage on it with birth control pills. They never did anything more, even when my symptoms persisted. Please, if you go here & you're having issues go somewhere else. They don't care. I gave them 2 stars, for the past positive experiences, but they don't deserve it. I came in and waited about 30 mins before I saw a doctor I was coming in for my birth control everyone was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. I came and saw the doctor and she was very sweet and explained how the birth control I was getting worked and how it was Inserted. She told he everything and I think planned parenthood was amazing after everything I heard they were great. I would suggest my friends to come here they are pleasant very nice and know here stuff thank u and u will see me in 5 years to re up my birth control thank you read more

The front office staff are so unprofessional they were talking about me right in front of me I walked in at 2pm on the dot the walk-in stops at 3pm they were trying to set me an appointment way out! They were sayin I should just go to the 99cent store and purchase a pregnancy test there and also said laughing about it saying it's only a dollar and change?!?!???? Rude, for the kind of business they are in They sure are rude !!! I was standing out side for over 30 minutes !!! I had an appointment an the woman at the seat made me late then told me I was late so now I have to wait 5 hours as a walk in. How is that my fault I'm late when you looked at me many times during the 30 minutes I was standing there. Then the call center was like well you where late so now you need to wait as a walk in. I was very disappointed by how unprofessional this center was. When I was being weighed in by one of the nurses (who I will point out was at least twice the size of me) noted how much weight I had supposedly gained in the last year. Before I could even tell her that I've actually lost a lot of weight since last year and the number must be incorrect, she snaps, "Well I'M not the one who entered the number from last year." But she felt the need to comment on it? After that, she brushed me off into the bathroom to get a urine sample and then I didn't hear from her for the rest of my time there. Instead, after waiting 15 minutes, some other nurse came and rather annoyedly lead me out of the waiting room to the front to sign more paperwork and to take some kind of survey. I didn't even know what I was doing, and I didn't want to ask because she and the nurse at the front desk seemed to be very involved in discussing how to spy on her ex boyfriend (or some other deviant male) via Twitter. All in all, I was extremely disappointed after my visit and I think I'll probably go to another center next time. It's a real shame too because this valley could use a Planned Parenthood. But with the attitudes I saw today, I don't think this center will last very long. read more

Worst place ever the receptionist one whom wear glasses didn't get her name, was super rude I have private and medical insurance and she said they don't accept private so I said okay then medical she said they can't because I have private the other receptionist said she said she has medical though and she stayed quiet I just walked out very rude need to have that receptionist replaced the other one seemed kind though . so I went to FPA women's health center in Mission Hills when they didn't bother questioning me and was in and out in an hour. read more

The ladies working here are always so nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. If you're walking in with no appointment, try to come before 2pm so you're not waiting for two hours. Also, they always keep the AC on so bring a sweater lol read more

So today 03/23 I went in, and my experience was nothing but pleasant. Besides all the BS I been told. So I've never been here before and this girl in the front desk with short hair , and with the most gorgeous eye lashes gave me a small slip and ask me to sign in. I swear! I asked for her name like 10 times, and I just can't remember... Lol.. ..Not only was she attentive but she took the time to ask if I had insurance, or any type of medical. I'm a musician so my income ranges ; she gave me paper work to fill out and offer me this program that the state has. She also explained to me how this program works. Literally from A-Z, and what covers and what doesn't. Plus an estimated wait time,But in less than 20, I was in!! The nurse her name was Betsy.. She was great! She informed me about all kinds of resources and options I have. The doctor was hip, made me feel like I was talking to a friend. Kept it nice, short and sweet. Answered all my questions.They really made me feel welcomed, informed me that I'm cleaned, yay!!!! and best of all... debt free. I will be visiting again. Thank you planned parenthood.
