I was in Appleton Wisconsin (I live in Chicago and also Florida), and was in town to see my in-laws and grandson. I was referred to urgent care physicians by my sister-in-law, and was seen there at about 1 o'clock. I was up by 2 o'clock. I can only describe the care as caring, efficient, and professional. It is 9 o'clock at night, and I am already improving. I would recommend this clinic to anybody with an ambulatory illness. Frankly, I was very impressed!

Over the last six years I have been increasingly happy and impressed with my primary care physician but also with every other person from the person who draws blood to the nurses, the billing department, and specialists. My husband also has the same doctor and, sadly, he has had skin cancer, prostate cancer and full removal, a hip replacement, two knee replacements, lots of physical therapy, and some other issues. Our mother took a precipitous drop in her health two weeks ago. We contacted the HCA office as one of the providers we would consider for her hospice care. When we met with Alyse to both interview her and get a feel for how the organization does business, we were unanimous that HCA was the care provider we wanted for our mother. The office and in person experience was excellent. As to communication and care, I cannot say enough about the professionalism, compassion and consideration of both Alyse and our caregiver, Melissa. In the midst of a very difficult time and circumstance, they both elevated the level beyond the expectations of our family. Sadly, our mother died shortly after care was provided, but it was gratifying to have stellar care during her last days. Thank you so much for helping us and lovingly serving our mother. They decided to hold my husband's medication hostage due to an appointment scheduled with another doctor. That doctor's office sent them the information they needed and they decided unilaterally to cancel my husband's appointment at Family Care of the Fox Cities with NO NOTICE. No call, no text. Then they refused to renew his prescriptions even though they were informed of the other upcoming appointment. Honestly we should have been shopping around when Dr. Richter announced his retirement. To top it off: they are now installing spy cameras in the waiting room. I don't think that's going to make patients feel at ease.
