My second time at this location. The first time I scheduled for BC they didn't mention you needed to be 4 weeks PP so I had to reschedule. Which I did for 5 days later. Instead of letting me know they had me come 40 mins to the location with a newborn. I come to my second appointment that they confirmed the day before and I did an e check online, they don't have the BC to give me. They apparently gave it away this morning. I'm confused as to why they wouldn't call or update the information in my chart considering people's time and ability to get places. What a ridiculous clinic. It's inconvenient and inconsiderate having someone travel and not even having the proper equipment to get the job done. 0 stars honestly because a simple phone call could have been made to avoid this. Over the phone I asked if I can come just for an initial ultrasound, they said yes and insurance will cover it. When I arrive the intake is asking too many questions, collecting even more than I volunteered. Just because I spoke in Spanish she clicked Hispanic for her records. Felt like invasion and it's also an assumption on her part. She tried to convince me to do the abortion today even though I have time to think about it. "It's 500. No, 350 today then 200 later. Don't worry if you schedule today then you might not need to pay the other 200." So what is the deal here? At the end of a long, excruciating negotiation I got an ultrasound with a $10 copay & was denied asking the doctor any questions + a headache. read more

Nayeema Cynthia MOST INCREDIBLE CARE AND SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED. The staff and Dr are so caring and kind. I have a birth defect that causes a reoccurring medical problem . I received treatment at World class hospitals such a cedar sinai in Beverly Hills and I can't even believe I'm saying this, but the care I received was superior to any other medical treatment I've ever received. I had an appointment at 6:10 and I was the only person in there! I was petrified to get my exam, due to previous experiences. The place was clean, check in was fast and they took me in immediately. Dr. Jenny Lynn was AMAZING!!! She made me feel comfortable, she was very gentle and super fast. She listened to ALL my concerns and I felt she really cared. We need more Doctors like this in this world. Her assistant Rose was absolutely equally AMAZING!!! Rose calmed my nerves down and walked me through every step before seeing the Doctor. She was kind, professional and even held my hand when I was being a baby. Rose is also a blood work expert, I did not feel a thing! My veins are super small and I usually get poked quite often. The worst experience ever!! I was late for my appointment and I understand it was my fault. The guy that assisted me was very polite but the other lady was very rude. The woman behind me didn't have an appointment and was asked to be seated. I said that I'm willing to wait as a walk-in. This crazy lady interrupted my conversation with the guy and started rudely talking to me that they cannot disclose the patient's related information. First of all, I wasn't talking to you crazy lady...second of all, I wasn't asking for any patient's information I asked to be seen as a walk-in. They said no anyways. I think people like that should not be working with patients as they don't understand what conversation means. read more

I called trying to get an appointment for a UTI but the twat that answered the phone ended up hanging up on me when I tried telling her that the UTI was painful and if she could squeeze me in for any time period. If you don't know better these people will rob you blind even if you do have insurance. Once I was finally called (took forever) I was asked for my ID, I asked that's all you need? She then proceeded to ask if I were using insurance and if so to present my insurance card and ID, so I handed her both. Once I gave her my insurance card (Empire, Blue cross blue shield) Sasha looked at it and was very adamant on not running my insurance and told me she was sure they didn't take it. Instead of running it she kept asking if it was "Florida Insured" I said I wasn't sure and not trusting her word because I have great insurance I asked could she just run it. After having an attitude and finally running it (what should've been done in the first place) she said we do take it and the initial ridiculous number she gave me before suddenly became $5.97 because they indeed took my insurance. After doing everything, I was told to sit in the hallway and that they'd check me out when it was my turn. 15 minutes goes by and no one had even acknowledged me. So I walked up to the counter and I said I'm not sure if you could see me but I need to check out. The lady (not Sasha) was apologetic and told me I was free to go and didn't have anything to pay. Sasha you are lazy, lack knowledge of your job and should not assume if you take a certain insurance or not if you aren't certain. The amount of people you could have gotten out of their money purely out of them not challenging you is sad like the woman behind me that I payed attention to when you spoke to her. Smh. People please know to ask questions and stick up for yourself. Don't be swindled out of the insurance you pay for for a greedy government ran clinic. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLANNED PARENTHOOD!!! In November 2015 I visited this location to have a pregnancy termination which resulted in Asherman's (uterine adhesions). My periods became brown and spotty for only two days. I thought nothing of it because they prescribed me birth control pills and said that it could make your periods light or not have one at all. Fast forward 5 years later, we are now trying to conceive for more than a year without success. I had a hysteroscopy performed and was officially diagnosed with scar tissue from having the procedure which caused trauma to my uterus. I had the scar tissue removed by an A-List Reproductive Endocrinologist, approximately $4,500 with insurance. If I would have know that they were going to botch my termination procedure then I would have gone elsewhere. What they did has led me to many sleepless nights, crying day and night, and endless worrying about my fertility. I finally have the courage to tell my story about what this clinic has done to me. Research and find another clinic. I'm trying to prevent this from happening to anyone else. read more

Literally the worst planned parenthood ever. The staff is impolite and I have now tried TWICE to get a birth control implant, made an appointment and have turned down for different reasons. My roomate went to planned parenthood in our college town and got her implant the SAME DAY. I made SURE to call them and ask if I would get it that same day just so I would have to waste time driving over half an hour to get there and was told no, only to be told that I need a doctors appointment. just now Booked my appointment 2 weeks ago, drove 1 h to get here, paid $1286 for a removal and replacement of my nexplanon, to get into the Dr office and somebody tell me that they ran out of devices. They refunded me the money and I guess if I wanted to come back (which I don't) I would have to wait 2 wks. The best part is that they called me yesterday to confirm the appointment. So I guess they care about us coming in but don't give a damn if they have what's necessary to do the scheduled procedure. I get it that things happen, but they didn't even try to make it up to me and find a way to book an appointment sooner or find me another location that could. This has been by far my absolute worst experience I couldn't find the Planned Parenthood building due to the fact that it's in the cut. I called and sat on the phone for a whole 20 minutes with a automated system I was unable to speak to an actual human. when I got in the lady was very rude. First time visiting and I had a great experience. There was virtually no wait time, everyone was super nice and polite, and I was able to get my birth control pills painlessly. They were extremely thorough when asking about my current health and safety. It's obvious that their aim is patient protection, which is wonderful. They did keep on talking to me about Nexplanon when I asked for an IUD, but they ultimately gave me a consultation and info about IUDs, so no harm there. I'm almost looking forward to going back! I went in and I was so scared but they were all so kind ! I've left over a dozen messages, no one calls back or follows up with their clients. They made me pay for a pregnancy test, and birth control, only to find out two weeks later that I was actually pregnant. They just take your money and leave you high and dry. Bad communication they told me to go to walgreens or walmart to pick up the prescription and the medication was discontinued so they wasted my time. There were some errors in writing the prescription as well and I do not recommend it. Tested positive for a pregnancy test so I scheduled a confirmation with PP and I wanted an ultrasound done. Whoever answered the phone was no help at all. Kept asking what the appt was for and I told her I just wanted a check up. She said they don't do prenatal. Ok...can you at least give me options or try to help?? I'm very new to this. I ended up scheduling an appt online for a confirmation pregnancy test. I was hoping for an ultrasound too. When I came, one of the kind ladies gave me a test, but before I got to take it, another lady insisted it was pointless since I already tested positive. But it's called a "confirmation" for a reason, I would think. And who are you to say that? They rescheduled me for the ultrasound since no tech was present to do it at the time. When I came back for my 3 o clock ultrasound appt, I wasn't seen until 4:30. The lady who gave me my ultrasound was apologetic and very very nice. When I arrived, I was forced to wait an hour and a half. 9:00 on a saturday. they did not see me until 10:45. There is one doctor here. The desk women are gossiping and talking about FB recipes. I came here for a pap smear since I have no insurance and don't want to get hit with a $1500 bill from quest. The staff is super friendly, all of them. I either exchanged in pleasant conversation or exchanged a smile with everyone I encountered. The PA I saw was very nice and gentle. I think that's the first painless pap smear I ever had. I paid $137 total for the visit and pathology. That's cheaper than some insurance companies charge for the deductible. I got a business card that has info on how to obtain my results which should be ready in a week. I hopefully will be back here next year. If people come to their senses and realize Planned Parenthood does way more than abortions and millions of women depend on their services. read more

I came here in June and they told me my total was 79 so I paid. I just came back and they said I had a balance of 90. They told me on the phone office visits are 85 but now they're saying 95. They told me my balance of 90 was for the office visits. So I asked is the office visit 85 90 or 95. And she said it's always 95. So I asked why did you tell me 5 seconds ago I have a balance of 90 for an office visit? All she had to say was that she wasn't here that day so she can't tell me anything. But it was her that day I remember her exactly. Not sure why they wouldn't charge me fully back in June & only tell me I owe 79 at the end of my visit instead of the full 169. Been going here for about 4 years now and it's just something new everytime whether it be waiting in the office for over 2 hours because they schedule 15 people for the same 1:00pm appointment or making an appointment and driving half an hour just to be told i can't be seen because the doctors isn't there when on the chart they can see its my year renewal and know i need to be seen by a doctor when making my appointment. just completely unorganized. recently i have been trying to call about getting my depo shot year renewal and call not even 10 minutes after they open and everyday i get the same "we're experience high calls" ok no problem i put my number in the call back list but no call back ALL DAY. now i am due for my shot in 2days going on 1 week of trying to reach someone which seems impossible at this point. read more

I'm actually quite upset at the fact that I have had abnormal bleeding something that is very different from what my normal. It is OK it is four days late on and off spotting and clots when I tell the nurse What is happening she said OK go to the bathroom so we are in sample and I'll get the doctor. Final story long story short the doctor decided not to see me and said I was fine and sent me home she said that I didn't need treatment that that's considered normal how about come and talk to me and tell me that I'm OK or at least consider what I'm telling you. Several patients got called before me after walking in WITHOUT an appointment. I am baffled and frustrated why such a simple concept (care for those with appointments FIRST) can be so difficult for so many health care facilities. I can't even begin to say what absolutely awesome and efficient service I received. From the moment I walked in it was all smiles from every single employee. I did not wait at all, for anything. Dee did a great job informing me on all the services planned parenthood offered and the benefits of getting tested. I was extremely nervous but she was so patient with me and assured me. The doctor was super gentle doing my Pap smear, and that was my first time. I walked out of Planned Parenthood feeling like a champion. I'm definitely returning to this location. read more
