My son has ADHD and they not only embraced him, but develped his technique and he thrived! My daughter is very young and only did the recreation program, but all of the teachers (especially Tammy and cooper) were absolutely amazing! Because of DI both of my kids are way above their age level in all genres from just one year of dancing there. The staff is extremely professional, and the owner is just so on top of everything at the studio. The best part of the studio is that none of the teachers or staff (Including the owner) get involved with ANY of the drama at the studio. They place the kids where they will do the best in technique and maturity wise. The only reason why we left is because we moved out of state, however we are going back every year for some of the conventions they participate in so we have the chance to dance with them. They care about molding your dancer into a professional dancer, not just a competitive dancer who stops dancing at 18 when they age out of competitions. They work with the seniors in getting them into the right collages and help them earn scholarships to pay for tuition. The owner and staff are well connected as well to get your foot in the door if you want to go more towards the entertainment industry. The ballet program is top notch with dancers that get into the most prestigious dance schools. (They have placed at least 3 dancers at Juilliard last year). They also have great adult ballet, tap, and hop hop classes that are so much fun! If you have the opportunity to go to DI do it! It was the best decision for our whole family made in dance we have ever made.

Although she was a high school junior she was warmly welcomed into her new family of tiny dancers with stars in their eyes, bun-heads with amazing technique and well-rounded dancers trained in a wide variety of dance styles. More importantly for her was falling in love with dance again. So much so she auditioned for DIPAC's pre-pro, The Thriving Artist Project, and has been growing exponentially with training from some of the best faculty and guest artists in the industry.

Z has a big personality and makes you feel welcome, no matter your experience level. Our only negative was that we wished it was colder in the studio. Definitely recommend!

Our experience with Z left much to be desired. While the flexibility in scheduling was appreciated,…read moreseveral concerning issues overshadowed any positives. Firstly, there was a persistent impression that the instructor was more focused on upselling than providing necessary guidance. This detracted from the learning environment and left us feeling uneasy. Moreover, the instructor's strong body odor was a significant discomfort during sessions. This, coupled with disrespectful jokes and overly critical correction methods, created a hostile learning atmosphere. It's unacceptable for an instructor to justify disrespectful behavior as "part of teaching." Additionally, the instructor's tendency to repeat himself excessively became not only annoying but also detrimental to the learning process. Rather than clarifying instructions, it often led to confusion and frustration. Furthermore, the lack of structure in conducting lessons at the instructor's house was evident and contributed to an overall sense of disorganization. The music was often ready to be played, but there were awkward breaks between the commercials because he didn't pay for streaming service. Also, there were times when he had a connection issue on speaker. In summary, while Z offers flexibility in scheduling and understanding us running late sometimes, the negative aspects of our experience outweigh any potential benefits. We would not recommend it to others, especially those who prioritize a respectful and structured learning environment.

Truth be told my heart was broken! She constantly danced around the house but she was bored at the other studio! I am so glad she decided to give Studio 3 a chance because she has been so much happier there! In fact so much happier that she is going from one class a week to four this next year and here's why: Studio 3 breaks up their classes into shorter classes so you can build your own perfect class schedule! Instead of only having the choice to start out with a typical hour class of ballet and tap you can build the perfect schedule for your child. In addition the cost is considerably lower than a lot of studios so my daughter doesn't have to pick just one class due to cost!!! For us it has been the perfect balance! My daughter can experience a variety of classes at an affordable cost!! They also offer a performance team for those who are just a bit too young for company! When she danced in Arlington years ago they did a lot of community performances which we loved! After calling around in Plano, many studios reserve all community performances for their company! I love that at Studio 3 there is a choice for those who want to do more performances than one recital per year! Studio 3 has been a gem for us! My daughter is happy and comfortable there! The teachers are wonderful and the owner has a heart of gold! If you are looking for a studio I highly encourage you to sign your children up for the free trial classes! You won't go anywhere else once you do!

Everything is perfect. We love the classes. We love the instructors. Our babies feel happyread more

Just love the covered parking that makes it so easy to get in and out and what a production Mary Poppins was. You guys! This is such a nice treat for the whole family with VERY reasonably priced tickets. We have see many a production, but this was just as awesome an experience in a different way. When you watch your daughter engage with the music and see her pure joy during the whole performance....you think, "Who needs Broadway?" We enjoyed ourselves immensely and our girl got to get a pic with Miss Poppins herself after the show.

When opportunities are repeatedly given only to students personally favored by Kameron Knotts, it sends a damaging message to the rest of the cast: your effort, loyalty, and dedication do not matter. Watching long‑time students be ignored while new students receive every role simply because they are liked is heartbreaking. It creates an exclusionary environment where many kids feel invisible, discouraged, and undervalued. A youth theater program should uplift all students, not just a select few. Families deserve a fair, respectful, and supportive environment where every child has a genuine chance to grow. NTPA needs to address this issue if it wants to maintain the trust of the community.
