I initially sent out an email in November (and a few more afterward) to cancel my daughter's class, I even called multiple times and have left voicemails to try and speak to someone to ensure cancellation and no additional bills. To this day, no one has gotten back to me and I continue to receive emails of them trying to process a payment. I've called too many times to remember and calls always go directly to voicemail. This establishment is completely disorganized and lacks proper communication. Unfortunately, this issue completely overshadows the positive experience my daughter had here. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, as this shows they were willing to communicate with me initially to get my daughter signed up but completely avoid and ignore you when trying to cancel and go elsewhere.

We signed up for the eight-lesson private package, which was worth every penny. Neither my wife nor I are naturally skilled ballroom dancers, but Daniel was incredibly patient with us and helped us learn each and every step. He was also super funny and fun to work with. Needless to say, we absolutely nailed our first dance, which was a medley of two songs that he helped put together in a custom package. It was so satisfying after the two months of lessons. We cannot thank Daniel and his wife enough, and we are grateful for their skills And ability to teach us how to dance. He figured out pretty quickly that we were not professional dancers, and we felt so comfortable signing up to give Everlasting Choreography a shot. He made it so easy with reasonable payment terms and even gave us the consultation which was near an hour for free. This was huge for us, and showed us we were valued. We danced to Sunday Kind of Love by Etta James. Which we thought we'd come up with something "easy" for. We ended up booking extra sessions! Daniel let us stay late all the time and get in extra practice in the studio. He cared so much that we did well, all while being gentle enough to tell us we weren't "bad dancers". Even though we spent more than we anticipated, which was our choice, we had so much fun doing it. The only reason we spent more was because we wanted extra time, not because we were "sold" or sandbagged so we had to. Daniel told us to take less actually, and we said we just wanted him to help us make it really sharp. What a ton of fun, and I think we may come back soon for some salsa or other classes they offer. You couldn't put your first dance or mother son dance in better hands. We ended up doing both through Daniel and he came up with moves so quickly for both dances. It seems most classes have a virtual option too. Met the owner when I arrived. She was really nice and showed me around. There are several studios and lockers for your belongings. The studio we were in for the class was really chill. Not what I expected. The lighting was dim with blue and yellow tones. I didn't feel as nervous after entering the room and not feeling fully on display. The Nia class was 30 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will most likely look at the calendar and pick some other classes here and there. I notice they do Pilates, yoga and things like that too. Lots of options!

But I feel it would be irresponsible to stay silent about the studio owner's unacceptable conduct. He's fun and charming with parents, seriously he is incredible at building rapport, but that facade shifts behind closed doors. I only ever met him in person once, and it was when he barged into a teacher's class to humiliate a student who was no older than 10. I don't recall what it was about, but he interrupted the entire class to shame her and it was uncomfortable to say the least. She just about cried, and because he was the studio owner, no one stood up for her. If that wasn't bad enough, he found my Instagram and was being pushy and trying to negotiate my boundaries with me. The dance world is small and word gets around quick. I was submissive toward him and feared being blacklisted or insulted if I spoke up. but now that I have a kid I feel angered knowing kids were alone with this man. I would never, and I mean NEVER bring my child here. To advertise qualities like character on your studio signage only to switch up like this the moment he gets students alone like this repeatedly...it's a major conflict of interest.

Fast forward to early Spring 2023 when I decided to bring my daughter here to take classes. The "vibe" grew with her immediately and she was asked about performing in their upcoming recital. She then decided to audition for FTROOP that Summer and made their Teens team. So many amazing Hip Hop instructors here! Getting to know everyone each time we walk through the doors has been such a blessing and one big dance family. I have had a blast taking Adult classes with Fenton and other instructors as well. My daughter loved being on FTroop Teens so much, she auditioned again for 2024 & is currently on Seniors team. This studio offers rentals if you need a room for lessons or to practice.
