The class was fun, instructor was helpful and workout was good. However, I feel like this was a little bit of a bait and switch. I registered online for a free class to join my friend. When I arrived it turns out that it was only for Frisco and Plano residents, so I had to pay $30.00. I live in Richardson which is just as close to Plano as Frisco is. So it gave me that Frisco/Plano elitist vibe in terms of management style. All about the money and status. read more

This place used to be my happy place. Most of the coaches are amazing. The management team has neglected to address issues with the staff, including some of the coaches. The coaches used to have a camaraderie that is gone. It feels like chaos. I had to leave. Membership continues to decline; the energy has shifted; the members are getting pulled into the drama. It's not a place where I am comfortable any longer. I felt harassed by a specific coach and her posse. Nothing was done to resolve it. It went from being my happy place to feeling like I was starring in Westside Story. Sad decline. read more

Summer time update. As a seasoned fitness instructor and long time distance runner I think it is important that one 'keeps it spicy' and this is a great way to do JUST THAT!! This time around I did the upper body circuit with Crystal B! She is a great high energy instructor and I hope she stays around a while. Love the club music so early in the morning and the party lights keep you going. It is a great way to PUMP UP your workday. I even saw a fellow run bud in class that I've known for about 15 years. Great to see fellow runners of all ages shaking up their workouts so they do not get bored. BMF is a staple on this side of town and I am very happy it is convenient for me in the mornings. You HIIT it hard here! I've tried a variety of gyms I'm the DFW area, and so far this has been the most intense and fun workout! They offer class time at all hours of the day, and have fantastic instructors that take you through heart-pumping, vigorous workouts. The class has two sections, a cardio section and a floor section. In order to sign up for classes, you can contact the main desk, BUT they have a super convenient app for your phone where you can sign up for classes for up to a week ahead of time. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. I've most appreciated the precautions they've taken for COVID, and his diligent they've all been about keeping the facility clean. By the way, their bathrooms should be every gyms goals! Great amenities, clean restrooms, and after your workout they have THE BEST THING EVER- the cold towel. Call me crazy, but one of my motivations (minor, but cmon) is getting the cool scented towel after the workout. They also have a smoothie/protein shake/açaí bowl bar that has tons of yummy options. I definitely recommend the Lean Hulk or the Banana PB! You won't regret trying this place out, sign up now for a free week! read more

Employees are rude and dismissive. They checked me in , took my money but wouldn't let me workout. I don't recommend this place at all.

Wow what a workout. It's intense but you just work at your own level. There's no intimidation factor because everybody's just trying to do their best and not paying attention to anyone else. The trainers are extremely motivating. The music and the energy in the room lifts me up and motivated me to do my best every time. I joined BMF 10 months ago and honestly feel like it's changed my life! For me, joining BMF wasn't so much about weight loss, but more about strength training and developing a good, healthy routine. Before I joined BMF, my exercise routine was primarily cardio (running, walking, biking) and sometimes yoga. At an annual check-up, my doctor told me she really advised me to work lifting/strength training into my exercise routine. I had no idea where to start or how to properly and safely use weights. So when a friend suggested I go to BMF with her (first class is free!), I found it to be the best way for me to add strength training... AND it was so much fun and motivational! Yes, the classes are pricey, but for me, you can't put a price on good health and feeling good about yourself. Not to mention, the trainers, staff, and owners are all GREAT! Attention! This one is good, y'all! I went online and got a 7 day pass because I've been super curious about this concept of work out classes - and I totally get the hype. Imagine club vibes, then add treadmills, floor work and awesome coaches to the mix and you basically have the idea. The switch from floor to tread throughout the class kept me from being disengaged at any point, and added a great variety to my workout. Also, on Saturdays there is a live DJ! Not to mention, there were mimosas the day I stopped by. You're not going to have to twist my arm to do much of you mention a DJ and a mimosa. My favorite part of this workout was how the coach allowed me to personalize my workout for my own ability and level, providing guidance and encouragement for an overall amazing experience. Even though I've only been here twice, it's my favorite boutique fitness gym/class I've been to in Plano. Pros: +First and foremost a good workout (the treadmill exercises kill me) +My first class was free. One of the studio employees gave me a quick tour of the studio/amenities +Very good workout. You alternate between being on the treadmill and doing floor exercises 8 times. +The studio is super spacious, bright, and clean +3 showers available in the women's locker room. There's a blow dryer, etc. They provide everything you need to get ready there if needed +Both classes I went to were pretty full, which I like. There's nothing worse than going to a class with only a few other people +Studio employees were super friendly +Juice/smoothie bar available in the lobby Cons: - Comparing it against similar workout classes I've been to, I wish the floor exercises were more thought out. Instead of cycling between around three movements per set, I wish they were 1) not made up of generally basic movements and 2) didn't make you just cycle through the movements yourself. I think there's a lot of room for improvement on this front, but I still love the overall workout It is very heavily inspired by Barry's Bootcamp, but with subtle twists. I like the layout of the workout space a little more and like the more frequent rotations. It feels even more club-y than Barry's, so just a heads up lol. read more

The entire staff really do care about your health and fitness. They will do their best to keep you motivated, if they notice a drop off from your workout routine and attendance. I went to my first class here and it was great, they were friendly and even one of the staff members worked out with me. After my first class though, no one ever checked in on you again. It was all about how you looked and there was a sense of "we are better than everybody else" type of feeling. I just wished they focused on the members more than they focused on their marketing and inner circle. I even asked for modifications during the month of Ramadan while I was fasting and really got no help besides just listen to your body. Thank you for telling me something I already know. I loved the workouts that they did but I was not a fan of the environment besides the people that worked at the smoothie bar. If you are looking for a place to go strictly to workout and leave then this is your go to place. I would just think for the amount that you are paying, great customer service would come along with it. The day I even went in to cancel, I signed a form on their ipad and not even one person asked for my feedback on why I was cancelling. OMG IM EXHAUSTED and it was my first time here and I'm hooked!!! I was needing something different for my workout routine and this is it!! The style of interval workout at this facility is so much fun!! The class involves both free weights and treadmill, and you're constantly doing something so it makes the hour goes by fast! There's music, lights, and the trainer cheering you on so you're distracted but still moving and barely alive at the end... Which makes it such a great workout!!! I highly recommend to anyone that wants to try something new! The facility: You walk into a nice, well furnished lobby for you to hangout before your class time. Also a smoothie bar on the side if you wanted a drink or quick bite before or after your session. There are lockers in the hallways and locker room to store your stuff. Full amenities/well lit/CLEAN locker rooms, they have everything you need to shower and get ready there, perfect for before work or if you had to be somewhere after. When I say they have everything, it's from a hair tie to blow dryers, toiletries, hair spray... everything. LOVE it. SUPER friendly and helpful staff. (Even fellow gym goers were welcoming and friendly) I loved that the owner talked to me before/after class and checked on me during the session, really nice to know she cares about her customers! I love that they offer classes everyday and throughout the day, perfect for when I have a day off, if I want to come in early, or after work! read more

Wowow I have never been to a gym like BMF! This place makes working out so much fun that it's practically addicting! I got in on their student summer promo for unlimited classes for 2 months for $160! This is by far one of the best deals that I've come across with the quality workouts that I receive! Not only are the workouts amazing with so many different class times, but the facility is AMAZING! It's so clean and the women's locker room is to die for! I feel like royalty in there! We're talking shampoo and conditioner provided, hair dryers and hair ties, spray on deodorant, it's THE WORKS! The staff is also super awesome! I love working out with Ethan, he's awesome! BMF is the number 1 gym in Plano for a reason, and you won't understand it until you try out a class (the first one is free!). I'm one of those people that doesn't love working out- it's hard and I don't like getting sweaty. But BMF takes working out to the next level with their night club-esque HIIT classes. And by that I mean, it's dark, the music is loud, and there's a light show. If you go on the right day, there's even a DJ! The lively atmosphere and fun music gives me the motivation I need to want to get my butt out of bed and in shape. Bonuses about this small, community-oriented gym are frequent challenges and contests to engage members, themed classes (shout-out to the Michael Jackson impersonator), military and educator discounts, detailed 3D body scans, smoothie bar, and the best locker room around.
