I finally made a visit!!! I have bookmarked this place for so long. My friend & I arrived an hour before closing and it was empty, which was a nice and quiet stroll checking out all the plants. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us around. I actually fell in love with an indoor plant. The leaves were stunning. I was hoping to purchase another "praying plant" but was completely in love with the plant I purchased. It was a tall, medium size plant for $20. A little slice of heaven! Absolutely love coming here to get my plant fix - their selection is seriously like no other for both indoor & outdoor plants! I was on a mission to find some trailing & leafy plants today and that's exactly what I got. Ended up with a string of turtles, string of bananas & monstera - came out to about $70 for all. Had my eye on a few others, like the pink princess, white knight and a leafyyyy alocasia but I had to refrain myself from buying it all! I recently visited this store and purchased 8 pots for $20 each. The price was clearly written as $20 on the pots and displayed on paper next to them. I was happy with my purchase and planned to come back for two more. When I returned two days later, a different salesperson told me the same pots were now $48 each. She said I must have bought a smaller size previously, but I showed her photos of my purchase and the $20 price written on the pots. The pots were the same size and same style. If there was a pricing mistake, I understand that errors can happen. However, the price was clearly labeled, and changing it without honoring the posted price felt disappointing and inconsistent. Transparency and consistency are very important in customer service. Unfortunately, this experience made me question the reliability of the pricing here. read more

This place is plant haven!!!! Tons and tons of assorted plants- both indoor and outdoor. Not to mention they also have s huge dejection of pots in different colors and sizes. I have my eye on a couple but I held back and only picked up a snake plant for $5. I'll be back for a couple of other plants I fell in love with Parking- SUPER LIMITED. MAYBE 5 TO 6 SPOTS with one designated for handicap. I had to park in the parking lot next door. Will definitely be returning!!! Service was great! I absolutely cannot come to this nursery without leaving with a plant. They always have nice healthy selections of plants and staff are friendly! The prices are always great! Definitely worth the visit even if you're coming in from out of town. I will definitely come back to buy again, doesn't help that i live close by. In fact, I wasn't gonna do it but i picked up a bromeliad today. I've bought Philodendrons, Alocasia, Broms, and Oxalis from here. This place is one of my go-to nursery spots! The entrance is majestic, with an aisle of plants that welcome you in. They offer a variety of plants, from small to big, cactus to houseplants, and small pots to huge planters--anything to fit your needs. The prices are reasonable, and sometimes you hit the jackpot, like finding a giant planter for only $20! I follow their Instagram because they often post about new items, especially the unique and limited ones. The workers are nice and helpful, and the plants are healthy. Every plant I've purchased here so far is thriving. I will come back here over and over again as long as I live in this area! read more

I love when a business listens to their reviews. We were greeted when we walked in. Huge variety of unique plants that are well established and the prices were on 90% of the plants we looked at. If you're looking for staff that will follow around for a possible question, this isn't that but when I did have a question, the nearest staff member had the answer. Prices are super reasonable. This same plant at Lowes was nearly $30, I paid &13 at Plant Safari. I'll be back. read more

This place is located down the street from my home. Between here and Armstrong I spend my $$ on plants when I don't feel like going on a FULL #NurseryCrawl across Southern California LOL I suggest coming here for spring flowers early in the season they have some really hard to find varieties Canterbury Bells, Strawflower etc. HUGE Terra Cotta Mexican pots at an affordable price here and more decorative pots inside but definitely more expensive. If you go to the back you'll find matching pots that aren't as expensive but they are oF the plain variety. They ALWAYS have a huge selection of houseplants and their Philodendron 'Hope' and 'Xanadu' were not pricey at all. Monstera are plentiful here in all sizes. Inside by the register they have more indoor plants so be sure to have a look there before deciding. Outdoor plant selection is good too you just need to be sure to get a good look at them. I absolutely LOVE this plant nursery! My husband and I decided it was time for us to get our very first big plant together for our new apartment. I looked through Yelp and found Plant Safari and instantly knew this was where we had to go. The photos of all the plants were so beautiful and every single plant looked so perfect. When we arrived, we were amazed by how many plants and pots there were inside (and outside!) It was so hard for us to choose. We finally decided on one that was on sale for $59.99 - I completely forgot what the name of it was, but I've posted a photo here on Yelp! We've named her Florence and she's such a perfect addition to our living room. I've since gone back to get some more smaller plants to put on our wall shelves and am so happy with what I've brought home. The employees are super friendly and are always offering to help and answer any questions I have. I will definitely be back soon! read more

More like plant sanctuary. This is a hidden gem I wish I found out sooner. The location is hidden if you're driving along the street. I missed the entrance and parked in the plaza next door. You'll want to move your car so you can carry your plants and goodies back to the car. The staff was very friendly and I explained it was my first time visiting. They have everything you're looking for, from pottery, decor, fountains, indoor and outdoor plants to trinkets. Prices are reasonable. I've been looking for string of turtles and found them here. Also found healthy Pothos and monstera plants. I was in the area and wanted to check out different plant nurseries nearby. I got more into houseplants during quarantine and wanted some new plants. I saw that they had Philodendron brasil, monstera, Philodendron birkin, calatheas, and succulents. They did have a few strings of turtle and a string of pearls near the register. The house/store was a good size, lots of the plants seemed healthy to me. The price was about the same as other plant stores I've been to. The staff was nice. Outstanding selection! It is exponentially better in terms of availability than any chain home improvement store. They offer a bit more in their selection of native SoCal plant species, I just wish they offered more! Too often have I found places like Home Depot or Lowe's selling known invasive species of plants, so it's good to see plant safari has some better variety. Prices are reasonable, I got some healthy pothos varieties from them. Service wise, staff is helpful and informed on the plant species. read more

This place is so cute. It looks like a house and inside there is a variety of indoor plants to choose from. I personally like to buy the plants as a baby because it is cheaper and I love to watch my plant grow, but they also have larger plants to choose from as well! They also have an outdoor selection of plants and various types of pots in all shapes and colors. They also have a large selection of garden decorations to add to your garden. The employees were also very knowledgeable and very helpful. They were able to identify the plants that I chose and give me information on how to better care for them.
