You'd think a higher priced nursery would have superior service, not worse than WalMart. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Sylvan's based on this experience.

Most years this is my go to place for bedding plants, this year was an exception but then again…read more Pretty much everything has been. ;) Customer service is pretty much zilch but everything is set out orderly and easy to find so help isn't needed. I do wish they'd carry the same stuff year after year. One year I may be able to find pavers and get far on a project only to not find them again the next year. Or they carry a gravel I need and the next year nope. I look at it as a surprise on what will be there this year. Looking forward to next year and hopefully the selection is better.

Saves you a lot of time and money buying plants from the box stores, that sell everything that looks good and many that will die by next season. Lisa that helped me, moved trees around with a tractor in 99 degrees sweltering heat to make sure I had a matching pair for my front yard. James went to extensive measures to prepare my trees for long travel as well, free of charge and came in super early so they would beat the heat! Thank you and much appreciated!
