I called the office, explained my situation and that I had my implants removed in 2015 and asked if it's possible to still have breast implant illness. Whoever I spoke to basically talked me in to a consultation with Dr. Soler and since he doesn't take insurance, the consult fee was $75. Everything I read on the website led me to believe that Dr. Soler is THE BII SPECIALIST and I figured it would be worth a shot to see if I could finally get some answers. I showed up 2 minutes past my appointment and had the office calling me to see where I was (parked out front of the office). I paid the consult fee and when Dr. Soler's assistant took me back to a room, she said "so you're here for a consult to remove your breast implants?".... Ummm noooo. I made it very clear on the phone before I scheduled the consult that they were removed in 2015 and confirmed this again when I checked in, before paying the consult fee. When it was all said and done, I got no help and am now out $75. And when you're living on social security, $75 is A LOT of money. Please be careful if you're interested in scheduling a consult for breast implant illness if your implants have already been removed. There was zero reason for them to schedule a consultation so the doctor could tell me that he couldn't do anything to help me rule out BII or in general!!!

Instead of addressing the issues directly, he commented that he "should have charged more" for the procedure and advised me to wait one year before discussing any revisions. After waiting the recommended year, I returned to discuss the unresolved concerns, including the protruding skin around my belly button, discomfort and pressure during activity, incomplete contouring of the lower abdomen, and the thickened scar. At that time, my concerns were dismissed, he told me I needed to lose weight and I was told I was unreasonable for requesting revision, and no corrective options were offered--including for scar revision. Patients considering this procedure should carefully review post-operative results and ask detailed questions regarding revision policies, scar outcomes, and what support is available if results do not meet expectations. Ask if post-op massages are included or any laser treatment like IPL or C02. I would also encourage prospective patients to request clear, unobstructed NEW post-op photographs, particularly of tummy tuck scar placement and healing outcomes. I spent over 10,000 dollars on a terrible tummy tuck. Every time I look at myself, I feel sick and think about Dr. Perez.

In my case, I developed a suture-related allergic reaction that lasted over six months, significantly affecting my healing process, and no proactive support or care was provided. The surgical results are very disappointing. The outcome looks as if it was performed by an inexperienced practitioner. The scarring is severe and far from what I was led to expect. My right breast appears to have had excessive tissue removed, leaving it with a noticeable indentation that resembles a hole. When I raised concerns, the doctor stated there was nothing that could be done. Additionally, the appearance of my areolas is highly irregular and unnatural, which has been distressing. Overall, the results feel careless and unacceptable. Between the lack of post-operative care and the poor cosmetic outcome, this has been a very frustrating and upsetting experience.

My eye doctor, Dr. Leviit, told me I should…read morehave Dr. Mack look at my eyelids for what is described as droopy eyes (upper eyelid blepharoplasty). The upper half of my eyelid was dropping over my lower half of the upper eyelid and resting on my eye lashes. This was limiting how much light coming to my eyes. The procedure was done at the Surgical Center, took 4-5 hours and I've been in recovery mode for the past 5 weeks. The surgery was noticeable to friends but ver yo has remarked about how they look natural as opposed to some folks who have the eyes operated on to look very wide open. My eyes are still adjusting to the change of light and the swelling is healing well. Dr. Mack and his team are extremely professional!! Then I was told by Dr. Castellano that it wasn't the filler causing this reaction and that I would have to seek another provider because there was nothing his office could do. I found a PA who specialized in fillers and she was able to dissolve the lumps with hyaluronidase. She stated that it was a common issue with fillers that are injected incorrectly or excessively and don't dissolve. Dr. Castellano didn't put much care into my concerns when it was just a simple fix! When I emailed his office about the simple fix, he never responded.

They were over 45 minutes late to getting me in for my appointment, that I have had for months, with no apology or update from the office staff. I asked for an update on when they'd be able to get me in and I got an "I don't know, hopefully soon." I understand being late. I don't understand acting like I'm not even there. After mentioning that I had been waiting for a long time and was planning on leaving in the next 5 mins, they were suddenly able to get me in to see Dr. Castellano, who was very nice, but talked with me for approx. 4 minutes. I have no issue with this as I know he was probably swamped and I understand the value of a doctors time. However, I never met with the surgical coordinator and I did not get pricing at all or see any mock ups for the potential rhinoplasty. They said that I wasn't able to meet the coordinator because I had to leave and I could if I waited longer. At this point it was already an hour and 15 mins after my appt time. I left because I wasn't planning on living the rest of my life in that office. It was a complete waste of time and energy. I think patient experience should be at the forefront of the office's mind especially for elective plastic surgery. Y'all gotta sell it but instead I felt dismissed and that I was inconveniencing THEM by being there.
