Not to mention the lashes were poking me in the eyeballs and made it hard to wash/dry my face or even sleep, so painful. Having never had eyelash extensions before I didn't know that this was NOT OK. Not until I went to get my makeup done by a professional make up artist that said whoever did this was "not my friend" and her and her entire make up team spent about 40+ mins trying every solution possible to get the lashes off. I was left in tears from disappointment AND actual stinging eye pain. Needless to say the day of my special event was damn near ruined. I called her the next day and made an appointment for them to be removed, which was also another EXCRUCIATING experience (cried for 30 mins straight) and then she tried to charge me for it?! Probably the most traumatizing experience I've ever had. Now I get them done at a REAL eyelash extension place in Union Square NYC. Save yourself the suffering, avoid.

I didn't have time for a trial at all, so I was nervous about getting everything right on the first try. I asked for a somewhat natural makeup look and big waves and she did exactly that. She understood that I wanted the most low-profile lash extensions and she did a really beautiful makeup application that showed up well in the photos but didn't look too overdone.
