Has fantastic bedside manner and my guys really liked him. However, their first visit was really rushed. It is impossible to clean, examine or do bite wing X-rays in my sons without sedation. However sedation was not scheduled at this time. So the hygienists tried to clean as best they could and Dr Boozer looked in their mouth briefly and said he didn't see anything bad. Well then they were basically escorting us out and I asked "what about a panoram?" The tech answered "you can't see cavities with a pano." To which I replied "it's better than nothing!" So they did a pano and Dr Boozer came in to look at it and said "uh oh... that's bad." My son had a HUGE abscess in his gum above a molar. We were scheduled for sedation treatment and left. Had I not asked for the pano, my son could have had some serious medical issues from the abscess and infection. He had not complained about pain, as he's practically immune to pain due to his disability. The sedation procedure was at an outpatient facility and we waited for two hours before they took us back, no food or water of course. Then another hour on the gurney before they took him back. His anxiety level was MAXED OUT! So I decided to look for a different dentist. I made my other sons appointment at Smith Dental and everything was thorough, not rushed, and all in office. The anesthesiologists came TO the office and all was finished very quickly. Very little anxiety and thorough checkup and cleaning under sedation. Now I'm not saying Boozer is bad place.... but they need to stop rushing through it, consult more with the patients parent or guardian during or after exams, and maybe SUGGEST a pano rather than arguing with a guardian about it! That pano could save a life.

Unfortunately, the visit was not at all what I had hoped. The girl who called us back did not even speak to my three-year-old (who admittedly was hesitant) when she greeted us, and acted annoyed/lost when she did not immediately hop on the scale for her. This first contact would have been the time for her to engage her/offer a little prize or encouragement, etc. but instead she just seemed unsure of how to approach her. When she asked her to sit in the seat (which is a bit intimidating with all of the equipment and bright lights) she basically just pointed at it and told her to get in, rather than making it a game, explaining the equipment, or doing any number of other things that would have put a three-year-old's mind at ease. My LO was a bit resistant, but did not scream, throw a tantrum, or anything of the sort. Yet, the worker seemed completely lost as to how to deal with her. The actual dentist (not Dr. Boozer) was nicer (at least smiled & tried to convince her) but other than offering a new toothbrush, did not seem to have any other techniques for encouraging three-year-olds either. I had been told that Dr. Boozer's office had a lot of techniques for putting children at ease, but aside from the small television on the ceiling and some games in the waiting area, I did not observe anything that really helped the visit to go smoothly. As an elementary school teacher, I know the importance of engaging children, being friendly with them, and using fun/games/rewards to encourage them to do new or scary things. I thought that this office understood these things as well, but I was very much mistaken. Of course, dealing with a three-year-old is always a huge challenge, but I definitely think they could have done more to make it go smoothly. Update: I have added one star because I called the office manager, and she was very apologetic and seemed to genuinely care. Hoping I just caught them on a bad day, & maybe they will come up with some sort of a "game plan" for giving a little extra TLC on first time visits so that others have a better experience.

I'm constantly being quoted different prices for the same scheduled services. I've had to call my **insurance myself** just to get accurate estimates. Even after paying in full at the time of the visit, they've tried to tell me I still owe more money. It's confusing, frustrating, and completely unprofessional. Appointments are another issue. I've watched them take patients with later appointments ahead of others who've been waiting. It feels chaotic and disorganized. To top it off, I called the **office manager** last week to get clarification on a charge--never got a call back. For a family that's been loyal to this practice for nearly a decade, this level of customer service is incredibly disappointing. I'm sad to say we'll be looking for a new dentist.

I showed up to a 3 p.m. appointment at about 2:45 p.m. for several procedures. The receptionist said I was an hour late. I said that I was not late; I was early. She said that their system showed my appointment to be at 2 p.m. I showed her the appointment card given me by them on my last visit that showed 3 p.m. She continued to insist that I was late. She told the dentist I was late. I continued to inform th dentist that I was not late and that my appointment card showed 3 p.m. The dentist continued to say I was late and that they would not be able to fully take care of me that day since, as she asserted, I was late. Most businesses who make such errors strive to make things right for the patient or customer. Not her. She continued to say that since I was late, she could not get all the necessary procedures done. It's as if she was not hearing my concern and really didn't care. I live more than an hour from their offices and had to sacrifice other important tasks to get to KayCare on time only to be told I was late when I WAS NOT LATE!! KayCare is the closest dentist that takes my dental insurance. I do not recommend any business who does not put the customer, let alone patient, first and foremost. In this case, I think the dentist puts other aspects of her business ahead of her patients. This is unacceptable.

No wonder they won't give you the price of replacement dentures on the…read morephone - they force you to come in for a "$100 special" exam, then when they tell you their denture prices are fully twice as much as other dentists they still get your $100. First, they are 3-4 people lounging around the front desk, but you have to check in at the kiosk. It took 10 minutes of watching the little graphic spin for the kiosk to tell me I didn't have an appointment, please see front desk. The loungers at the front desk were incredibly put out that I bothered them. I'm certain they elected the rudest one to ask me what I wanted. While I waited beyond my appointment time, it was easy to see through the open door that they keep several more loungers in the back - no wonder their prices are double, they have to pay a LOT of people to stand around. I tried to ask why their dentures were twice as much as others, the only answer they had was "inflation". I was bold enough to state that the other guys have inflation, too, but that only caused her to huff and tell me, "well that's our price" very rudely. Dr. Nash has consistently been rude and dismissive, especially toward patients with dental anxiety…read more She's the only dentist at this office, and it seems obvious she's overwhelmed. There still isn't a hygienist, so my cleanings have been done by either Dr. Nash or a dental assistant. At my first visit, she spoke harshly to a very kind assistant over X-rays, then left without speaking to me. In January 2026, she placed a filling that fell out just six months later while I was flossing. I had mentioned after the procedure that the filling felt too tight to floss around, but my concern wasn't addressed. When the filling came out, I called ahead and was told my cleaning appointment would be changed to an emergency filling due to the exposed, painful tooth. When I arrived, the office had no record of the change. Thankfully, they fit me in the next day. During that appointment, Dr. Nash immediately began giving multiple numbing injections without explaining what she was doing, which made my dental anxiety much worse. She also started working on a second filling without telling me first. When I stopped her to ask what she was doing, she rolled her eyes and responded dismissively. Throughout the visit, she spoke condescendingly to the dental assistant as well. I left with blood on my teeth, fillings that look poorly done, and little confidence in the work. I'll be seeing another dentist to have them evaluated and corrected. Everyone has difficult days, but patients deserve clear communication, professionalism, and respect--especially when they're already anxious about dental treatment.
