When my girls had there first appointment I was really impressed with the guy who did there cleaning.. he was amazing with my girls (5 & 6) we have issues with them being overly shy & not corporative with new people but they opened up to him from the word go.. in my book that is impressive.. The dentist himself was very good at going over all the options one of my daughters has an issue that keeps reappearing & he let me explain everything then told me what he recommended & why.. I like being well informed up front.. I called today to ask how long my daughter should be in pain from getting caps (it's been 1 week) & they had her come in so they could make sure everything was fine.. when we walked in the office manager gave my daughter a feel better gift.. it turned out there was a little cement on the gum line & the dentist removed it in a matter of seconds.. as soon as we got in the car she told me it felt so much better.. The scheduling issues to begin with really upset me but they have definitely made up for it..

They contacted my insurance company at the time and showed me an itemized list of what was covered and what wasn't. I paid my portion in full at the time I had the work done. I have been in 2 times since then for check ups. Not once did anyone mention anything about owing money. Then out of the blue earlier this year I get a bill. When I inquired about this, they said it was for the crowns I had done back in 2024 and a claim that my insurance denied. I checked all my claims and I have paid everything that my insurance company said I owed. When I tried to ask for exactly what claim they were talking about, they said they would just try resubmitting the claim and would not provide me with any information as to what it was for. It has been way over a month since I last talked to them and I have not heard a word for them, but if I look at the bill they sent me back in February, it still is showing that I owe. I haven't received another bill since I last talked to them though, so I have no clue what is going on. I would call them again, but I have already spent countless hours on this and I never get anywhere with them. How can they tell you for 2 years that you don't owe anything and then send you a bill 2 years later. Just a warning, if you go here, double check everything. This has been an absolute nightmare!

The left side came unglued and was springing up and poking me. Very painful!! I guess 28 years of the glue holding was a good long time, but time was up! I called my regular dentist and they could not help me, instead referred me to an orthodontist. I went there, and upon leaving I could tell what they did was not going to last, as it felt very thin for some reason. I was right, the very next morning, the retainer sprang loose again and I was in the same boat. I called Dr. Coker's office and spoke to Mary, who had me come in right away. I should have called Dr. Coker in the first place. I went in, and his assistant thoroughly applied the best adhesive ever and got my retainer back in place. I imagine it will hold another 28 years or better! I would highly recommend Dr. Coker's Smile Studio for any and all tooth situations and especially emergencies with your adhesive glue! No wonder they won't give you the price of replacement dentures on the…read morephone - they force you to come in for a "$100 special" exam, then when they tell you their denture prices are fully twice as much as other dentists they still get your $100. First, they are 3-4 people lounging around the front desk, but you have to check in at the kiosk. It took 10 minutes of watching the little graphic spin for the kiosk to tell me I didn't have an appointment, please see front desk. The loungers at the front desk were incredibly put out that I bothered them. I'm certain they elected the rudest one to ask me what I wanted. While I waited beyond my appointment time, it was easy to see through the open door that they keep several more loungers in the back - no wonder their prices are double, they have to pay a LOT of people to stand around. I tried to ask why their dentures were twice as much as others, the only answer they had was "inflation". I was bold enough to state that the other guys have inflation, too, but that only caused her to huff and tell me, "well that's our price" very rudely. Save your "$100 special" and go see any other dentist if its time to replace your dentures.
