For instance, an older genuine leather credit card and checkbook holder (I.e. not a complete wallet) was priced at $20. Used David's Bridal formals at $60-$80. Keep in mind that any used formal will need to be cleaned before wearing, which adds to the price of buying a used dress. David's Bridal sells bridesmaids dresses with two different webpages on their website. Dresses under $100 and Dresses under $70. I drove to this store specifically because I'd heard they had quality things at good prices and my daughter was hoping to find a formal dress. While I did find most of their books reasonably priced, I won't take the time to go back.

And they do their best to make it feel like a "normal" shop but I find it a little disorganized and feel very overwhelmed and gave up looking at clothes. They have a small variety of furniture downstairs and upstairs they have a small section of housewares and men's clothing. The sheer volume of items on the floor and shelves makes this place a bit overwhelming, and I couldn't find any organization as far as their books go so if you love a long riffling through heaps of stuff then this is your place, but if you like more of an organized and accessible experience this is definitely a place I would skip. The prices range from a couple dollars, to $7.99 for most clothing, and up depending on the item. I'd say they're asking higher end for things, similar to a current Goodwill. I don't have direct experience with the service as neither me nor my companion purchased anything, but the clerks behind the checkout counter were talking amongst themselves as several people looked at the accessories in the area. I never feel insulted and I donate those items rather than dealing with the other shops.

This had been my absolute GO TO thrift store for clothes back in the day, and I went back for the first time in at least 4 years today. As always, the selection DID NOT disappoint. Vintage tees, denim, overalls, shorts, shoes, accessories, the WORKS. Even found my dream pair of beach shorts for $10!!!!!! In this economy??!! Let's freaking go. They don't make quality clothes like they used to, but they sell the gems of old here that have and will stand the test of time. Someone made a comment on here about the clothes having a bad smell- anyone who thrifts knows clothes that are vintage have a smell that is "vintage". And frankly, I love it. Now regarding the staff- to my surprise, I saw everyone working there have a smile on their face and a kind word to say. I even told one staff member "I almost didn't come today because I was so concerned by the reviews you guys have on Yelp.." Turns out, the company DID take notice of the reviews and poor costumer service, and it appears those individuals are.. "no longer here". What I saw instead was extreme kindness, attentiveness (from multiple staff members) and an experience that absolutely MADE my weekend. To the girl on staff (whose name I'm so sorry I've forgotten- but brown slick back bun) who complimented my hair, helped me every time I needed something, and frankly made my experience- you are an absolute rockstar. Great clothes, great music, GREAT staff, and a VERY happy and still very loyal customer. 10/10.
