I have consigned clothing here a few times and the system is very organized. I have always received my check with no problems and the unsold items returned. Recently I brought in a few winter items and the very kind staff person who looked at every piece explained that they were only accepting spring clothing but to come back in the fall. The other nearby consignmnt shops just brushed me off and said I needed to make an appointment. Ragamoffyns doesn't always accept everything I bring in but are always polite when saying no. I never feel insulted and I donate those items rather than dealing with the other shops. read more

My rating would be a zero if that was a choice. I brought some of my clothes in for consignment and the attention they gave to the items I brought in was so unacceptable. They didn't even look at everything I brought in. The clothes I brought in were in such good shape. They had all been cleaned and ironed (if needed). Just because they were not the brands that are hundreds or even thousands of dollars, they didn't even want to look at everything. Some of the clothes i brought in were bought at Nordstroms. I consigned four designer dresses with Ragamoffyn's in December 2024. From the beginning, I asked them to email me the prices -- which they acknowledged on the intake form. I received the listing prices, but after that, there was no notification, no updates, and no way to track whether or when my items sold. In July 2025, I followed up and was told two items sold on June 30. I asked for proof -- basic things like sales receipts or transaction records from their POS system. What I received instead were edited spreadsheets and screenshots with no invoice numbers, no timestamps, and no payment details. The item numbers were even changed, which they said was due to their system "expiring" old items and re-entering them. I asked for the original, system-generated receipts -- not summaries -- and they refused. They cited "customer privacy" as the reason, even though I never asked for buyer details, only sales data for my own items. Even worse, when I asked about the items they didn't mention, I was told they had "probably expired" or "may have been donated," again with zero documentation. There is no transparency or accountability. At this point, I seriously suspect some items may have been mishandled or privately sold off-record. As a consignor, you have no visibility, no notifications, and no way to verify anything unless you push hard for weeks -- and even then, they provide NO REAL proof. If you're planning to consign with Ragamoffyn's, be very careful. Once they take your items, you may never know what happens to them. You're completely at their mercy, and they provide no audit trail whatsoever. read more

I had my 19 items here for consignment. When they received and inspected my items, the manager confirmed they were all in great condition with packages/boxes. At that time, they could not price out all items so they told me to call back to check. After a few days, I went into the store again just to see if all my items got priced out, and they were able to print out an inventory lookup for my items. Over the next consigned 3 months, I called and received a check for sold items every month. At the end of the 3 months, their employee at the front desk confirmed with me that I did not need to pick up the remaining unsold items because my items were in good condition, so I could just continue keeping them there until sold. However, I found out that it was not the case when I called again asking if there was a check for me. One of the managers told me that some of my items were donated already due to the consignment contract expiring after 3 months. I was shocked as this was different than what their employee told me. After some investigation, the manager called back and confirmed due to the miscommunications, they would credit me back for the donated items which would be in my last paycheck. I went into the store to pick up my 2 unsold items and the check that should have included my most recently sold items and the donated items. However, the math for the check just did not add up right when I was comparing it with the inventory lookup list I was provided with at the beginning of the consignment. Their employees could not help me in terms of confirming what items were sold for how much or if any of the donated items were included in the check and for how much. It made me suspect how accurate or informational their system was. I refused to take the check as I did not agree with the amount, and there was no manager onsite. The next day, their manager called me as she heard "they could not find the check" when I went in. I confirmed the employees did find the check, but I did not agree with the amount so I did not accept the check. This made me feel they had communication issues not just externally but also internally. The employee even wrote down the reasons (the missing items) I did not take the check on a post-it in front of me! After a few back and forth as I had to point out what items I did not take back or were sold based on my record, the manager was able to add the missing amounts back and issued me a new check. Overall, very frustrated about their internal and external miscommunications, and the accuracy of their system. read more

Love their incredible collection of designer clothing l I have purchased many things here; one highlight was a beautiful Chanel dress here. My other purchases includes designer handbags. Adding to these purchases, I have bought more than 50 purchases of, dresses, shoes, suits, I have bought them all from here. St. John knits, is one my favorites and the selection here is outstanding. Have to give kudos to the selection of jewelry , which is incredible. I worked in Kirkland and coming here was such a treat. I would get lost in the many high quality offerings. Are the salespeople snooty? I believe they are carefully chosen, based on their prior experience with fashion. This may lead to condescension, when interacting with people who have less fashion knowledge. I recommend you put yourself in their hands and ask their honest opinion. I find they can be quite helpful, even if it means losing a sale on an item that doesn't work for you. Ask for their help in navigating the inventory and the staff will be your friend. Ragamoffyn's is love-it or hate-it. That's just the truth. It's a high end consignment shop, so don't come in looking for dollar deals. You won't find any. The first thing I see going in is the wall of luxury purses on my left. Purses are my favorite thing to buy at this store. I've bought maybe 6 by now, two of them were new in box with tags and/or receipts. Woo hoo! "Luxury" is Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi, etc. They also carry some "Designer", i.e. Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade. I also bought a new with tags Tumi tote bag that I use all-the-time as the "personal item" when flying. It's the best treasure hunting ever. Of course, they have clothing, shoes, and accessories. I haven't had as much luck with those, but I know a lot of folks buy clothing from them. For clothing, be sure to understanding the layout of the store. At the front on both left and right side are good quality brands; I think of them as "normal" in reference to this store. In the mid section, one side is brand(s) specific. The other side has the highest end luxury brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, and many names that I don't even recognize but the tag says made in France. Enough said. The back room is their clearance section where everything is at least 50% off the tag. That's also a favorite section to browse. During a recent visit, I noticed the shop thinned out quite a bit post COVID shutdowns. They also re-did the floor and the counter. It looks very, very organized now. Well when I first saw the store I thought it was cute, classy, and appeared to be very professional. I put a brand new pair of Jimmy Choo Boots for sale there. It seemed extremely high in price, but I figured by the looks of the place they knew what they were doing. They had very strict rules when it comes to getting paid. You have to contact store prior to the tenth of the month to see if your item has sold. Now if it has you need to contact a manager and request a check that will be delivered to the store on the 16th of the month only. I completed all the necessary requirements and drove all the way to Bellevue, WA from Arlington just to be told the owner went on vacation and there were no checks delievered today. The most important thing I would think is keeping the merchants happy. Nope.. Set aside until the owner returns from vacation. I am so not happy, mostly disappoointed their lack of professionalism. I get cute stuff, the store sells me cute stuff, the consigner gets some money back for their beautiful pieces. Win win win! Faith (associate) and Jennifer (manager) are complete delights to work with, and they patiently helped as I tried on everything from Theory, to Armani, to Prada, to St. John, to Burberry. I am frequent customer at this store, I live right above the street so I am always stopping by and checking out new merchandise. Yesterday, I wanted to bring my mom and my aunt to check out this fabulous store with amazing merchandise, but the two ladies that were working there were not friendly at all. At moments I felt as if they were judging us because we were Asian. No help, no customer service, no greeting or smile, just felt like we were an inconvenience being there. The older lady who seemed like the manager/owner was not even wearing her mask. She just had it hanging on her chin. The feeling of being there made me feel like there is still racism going on in all parts of the country even though it may not be verbal or physical. Either that or they were just judging us. OMG, I need something for my wife's birthday. Here's my plan: I'm going to buy her a shawl. She likes shawls. They go with anything. I've only got a day. I start looking for Yelp reviews nearby. I don't go by stars or such, I go by reading a bunch of reviews and getting a vibe. Off I go to Ragamoffyn's, good Yelp vibe, looking like a Microsoft millionaire in my cargo shorts and untucked shirt. I'm not one of those millionaires, I just hope I'll be mistaken for one so everyone will kiss my bohind. I'm ignored when I walk in, thank you, I'm so tired of being asked if I need anything every time I shop with my wife in a store where it's pretty obvious that if I need anything, I'm crossdressing, I seek out an employee, and ask, do y'all have some shawls? NO, cargo-boy, we only have scarves. Well, EXCUUUSE ME! Shawl, scarf, what the hell do I know? Isn't a shawl a winter scarf? But the nice lady points me to the sections of scarves and I spend about 5 minutes finding one that even I know is brilliant and beautiful and perfect. As I'm buying it, she says it's brilliant and beautiful and perfect, but, after all, she's getting it out of her store. So, my wife, when I give it to her, says it's brilliant and beautiful and perfect, and then tells me a little later I have to tell her where I got it. Which was how I knew it was brilliant and beautiful and perfect. I endorse this store as a place for men to find things for a reasonable price that are just freaking gorgeous. Poor customer service. If you plan on shopping here better walk in with expensive clothes, jewelry, and handbag (and be over the age of 35...cause apparently people in their 20's money is not good there-- this place suffers from age discrimination). They will completely ignore you (or like with me, talk down to you) if you don't fit that criteria. I stood at the counter as the young saleswoman gossiped with a customer and played with a pen. They talked for 10mins before the salewoman finally made eye contact with me and said "yes?". It's rare i've been treated like this! I am a collector of premium designer handbags, its a bad obsession. Normally I buy new or on eBay, but I checked out Ragamoffyns one morning and I really can not believe how OVER PRICED their handbags are! They consign your bag, and you get 50% of what its sold for. One bag was $600, worth $560...so the purse owner would receive $300? Really ridiculous. I feel bad for people who consign here. They also mis-quote prices, when something is marked a certain price thats what the customer should pay. Save your money! Shop other places! These women think they are above everyone, I'd be treated better walking into Louis Vuitton in sweats than here. read more

I've bought many items from this store. I do love the clothes here and the designers they carry. I do feel until they see that I am actually going to buy something that they always watch me very closely or they don't even greet me. Maybe it's because I am younger and maybe I'm not dressed to what they think is standard but it does bother me. No one wants to feel like they are being judged. Lastly, please, please stop with that HORRIBLE candle!!! It smells so strong and bad. Not everyone loves the smell of maple syrup stinging there nose. Easily one of the best, if not the best, consignment shops in the Puget Sound area. Most consignment shops advertise themselves as selling "designer" merchandise but carry mostly Gap and Ann Taylor with maybe a small true designer section. Ragamoffyn's actually sells designer clothes. I spotted a vintage Missoni red silk dress and a jewel-blue Burberry quilted jacket, and those were not even in their highest-end section. The majority of the clothes are in like-new condition, made from high-quality fabrics and materials, and are masterfully constructed. Are the clothes expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Absolutely. Paying $50-$100 for a like-new designer piece that is beautifully made and will last you for years is a STEAL. In terms of service, the attendants did not initiate contact with me, but when I had questions and struck up a conversation with them, they were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I think the demeanor has less to do with their being snobby and unhelpful than it has to do with a very typical Pacific Northwest aloofness that I have seen in a lot of shops. It's true, many of the things in this shop are overpriced. Good news? Head on to the back where everything is half off and you might some real gems there. Occasionally I've scored up front also but that requires a fair amount of patience since 99% of the items are supremely expensive. Customer service can be hit and miss. Depending on the traffic the owner may or may not ignore me completely but she is never mean and relatively accommodating if I ask for anything. I'm a lover of consignment shops, so it's a bit of a surprise that I've managed to walk by this one so many times. It's amazing! The staff and owner are super friendly and you feel right at home when you walk in. The selection is incredible and very well curated: Eileen Fisher, Escada, Tori Burch, Prada, you name it. I love the way it's organized, and not with the cluttered feel these places often have - everything is very open and bright. Don't miss the back room! Everything is half off and you can score some incredible deals - I found three pieces there, one new with tags. The store carries great stuff but all the designer handbags that I looked at and wanted were sooooooooooooo overpriced. I mean come on, it's second hand not brand new! And every piece that I saw was almost the EXACT same price as if you would have walked into the retail store and bought it brand new! I don't know what it is nowadays with all these secondhand stores and thrift stores but it's like they have all forgotten that the merchandise they have, came to them, USED BY ANOTHER PERSON OR EVEN PERSONS.... USED DOES NOT EQUAL BRAND NEW!!! And so the price should reflect that! Maybe I'm wrong and maybe I'm the only one who thinks this but I doubt it! And I don't know about Ragomuffyns but several of the thrift stores I go to regularly, I know they get the stuff they sell for free and/or is donated to them. I have consigned with Ragamoffyns several times and have found them to be very accomodating and willing to look at what i bring in. I recently took quite a lot of items in not knowing if they would take a look and they were very helpful and willing to take the time to look and take what they thought would sell at their shop. Giselle was very warm to me and i find her store to be a great spot to find real treasures. I also like to shop and browse without sales people on me. If i have a question they have answered it. They are not over the top sweet but i dont need that. They have been in business for awhile, they must be doing something right. read more

I've been a consignment shopper for two decades. Ragamoffyn's is by far my favorite, including many I've frequented in New York and Los Angeles. I bought my first Jimmy Choo and Prada handbags here and it's the first place I look for any high end designer brands. Their prices are phenomenal for the quality and level of brands they carry and they don't tolerate ANY counterfeits. They're never rude and I prefer not being bothered when I'm looking around a store. I think many people expect for store clerks to be like their dog...running up to greet them all excited. If you require that kind of affection and attention from strangers working in stores, then you're going to miss out on some of the greatest finds in many places. read more

Dear Owner I stand corrected. I have bought my LVs only in France and had no idea they manufactured their top 100 designs in the US too. However I still believe that this specific item was fake because of the way it was manufactured: the front flap was bent in the corners because the inside structure was weak and of bad quality. I have seen other fake versions of this specific design and they all aged the same way. I feel bad for the person who bought it thinking it was real. I have returned to your store and had the same look up and down from the person behind the desk to see if I belonged there. I had the same experience recently as cat B. did in the year 200, however my experience is recent. They donated my high end designer items without notifying me. On the contract I signed there is an area where you can specify if you wan to donate or not. I specified I did NOT want to donate! I was shocked because I have consigned at the competitor two doors down and they followed the contract and actually even called me to come pick up my items. I asked for the owner Gisele to call me regarding my items being "donated" against my contract. She left me a message saying I was correct and that she will give me $25.00 for each item, because she marked them down to 50%, they did not sell so she is giving be only $25.00! I will NEVER consign my items here again. Not only did they "donate" my high end designer items, when I would go to shop there one of the employees was rushing myself and other customers out 45 minutes before the advertised closing time on a Sunday! That employee shouted "I'm closing the cash register now! We have to close early because we have to go to meet people at our church for dinner"! She was vacuuming, and making all sorts of rude innuendos for the customers to leave so she could close the store early. I asked the other employee if they were closing early today and she said, "no." I told her what her coworker was dong and saying and that the cash register was "closed" for purchases. This employee scoffed at the idea of the register being closed 45 mins early and went over to check. She said it was open. All in all I would NEVER consign here again or even shop there read more

it's amazing that i grew up in the area and never noticed this little gem! walked in because i love consignment shops, especially ones with higher end designers products. first thing i saw was a pair of prada heels. the woman inside (sorry, don't know either of your names...) at the time suggested i try them on a little further in the store because it might beep if i stayed too close to the sensor. i asked her about their other shoes and she pointed out all the shoes for me. when i'm in a consignment shop i like to take my time and look at most of the stuff there. i appreciated not being bothered as i browsed through their merchandise. when it came time to pay for my items, the other woman was very friendly. i didn't have to wait for any chitchatting to end to get service. not sure how it was for the other people that had such a negative experience based on age but my experience there was fine. for light used louboutins and pradas the prices were pretty good =) read more

Polite Employees Fair Pricing Clean store Feels good to shop and to sell there. In an area saturated with consignment shops- this one is the winner. Not only for having the best selection- but for having the best service. No one wants to be treated like crap because they are selling or buying used clothes.
