Wonderful experience at this Plato's! :) Super quick when going through clothes. Helpful employees and staff.

Honestly just writing this to thank the employees. A man was following my friend and I around the store, taking pictures of us, looking up our bottoms,etc. One of the employees told everyone else working in the store and they even walked us to our car. Very thankful for them! read more

Just like the other reviews, I do not recommend bringing your clothes here. The past few times I've been in it's been disappointing, the employees act like they would rather be anywhere else. From someone who has worked in retail and hospitality the past ten years, the customer service needs training. It's impossible to try to sell clothes to this location when the employees won't even acknowledge you or worse, when you ask a question and they stand there staring at you. And not only that, they don't even buy the name brand stuff you bring in?? I hope management makes some changes! read more

Gave her brand new shorts only worn twice and they were 50 bucks. She gave me $14 for like 6 pair of them.

I recently went to this plato's closet and I was a little nervous because of some reviews, but it was a great experience. Everyone was very kind and I found some great deals! Rude rude rude employees. I ended up not purchasing anything due to how incredibly rude the girls working there were.

Wow, I almost didn't come because of the bad reviews. I'm from out of town and the closest Plato's we have is in Raleigh. The prices here were way better and the place was clean and orderly. Easy to use changing room and the staff was not overly nice, but definitely not rude or disengaged. I was really happy because I found a brand new Vera Bradly backpack that retails over $100 for just $25. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. read more

Just like other reviews, VERY rude employees, just go work elsewhere if you're not happy. Just like the other reviews, I walk in and all 5 employees that are crowded around the desk just stare at me and don't greet me. I'm there for awhile and hear them greet other customers after me. Girl who checked me out was horrible, awful, and plain rude. And considering this time during the coronavirus pandemic you would think the managers would have their employees, and themselves, wear masks, but nope. Horrible, horrible experience. I really think they should consider new employees or management, because I too have sold them stuff and walk out with almost everything I had even though there are "name brand" items in there. The boxes with my items in them don't even look touched. I wish I had another Platos near me because I do not want to go back to this. read more

Found a pair of jeans here a year or two ago that are only good for celebrating shart week. There was enough dried brown material in the buttock area of the jeans to cover a coney dog. How you miss that I dunno. I can't even wear the cute shirt I bought that day. I can't get that image out of my head. Haven't been back to buy anything since. read more

Horrible customer service the girls behind the counter are very rude and unfriendly. They are never ready with your stuff when they say they will be. And they are not honest about why they won't take any items say they are too worn when there is no wear on the clothes. read more

People here are rude. They talk bad about everyone who comes in. It appears they hate their jobs...and life. Please, just quit and work somewhere else. If you need the money, work where you don't need to interact with people. Besides, the selection of clothes is very old and looks worse than worn. Their "expert clothes pickers" are no experts at all. read more

There are few times I complain about customer service because everyone can have a bad day. However the last 2 times I've been in this Platos, I've left with a very sour taste in my mouth. I dropped a tote bag off at this location around 3pm, ending of my late lunch break. Hardly anyone spoke to me except clerk who was taking in items. Never was I told a time, I assumed 20 minutes since Platos is known for their quick turnaround. Finished my day at work & was back to pick up about 5:10-5:15, my office is close by. I walk in & NOT ONE ASSOCIATE GREETS ME. Not one. Of the 5-6 associates behind the counter whom ALL LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME, not one smiled or flipped me the finger even!!!! What the?! I mean did they all eat sour oats for breakfast?! Oh wait, it gets better... My stuff had not even been sorted thru yet! I of course question why in TWO hours my stuff was still not ready. Her response? "Eh, we've been busy." SERIOUSLY?! After having to wait for manager who took 5 minutes to get to front, I explain situation & that its the second time this has happened & their customer service needs some attention, she just brushes it off. I guess they all need some Red Bull, give em some wings or somethin. read more

Employees seem as if they're bothered by actually having to work? Clothes will go untouched that they're supposed to look through, they will take more items than they tell you and won't pay you for them. Horrible about responding to people asking to hold items. Employees also talk negatively about customers. Just seems like if you were going to run a business you'd hire better employees. But the manager himself is no better. If you're in the area you're honestly better off going to style exchange! read more

I went there today with a tub of clothes. I was told to come back in hour and half to find out what items and amount of money they were going to give. I went back 2 hours later and they were still not done. Informed the sales lady I would look around until she was done. Thirty minutes later I went back up the counter and they were done. They did not let me know they were done with the clothes. The informed me of my clothes being not casual enough and overly worn. The clothes on the rack were more worn than mine. They choose 6 pieces and through the rest back in the tub. Got paid very little for the items (approximate $1-2.50/item). Which I know they will mark up 4-5 times what they pay for it. The associates were rude and made me feel like crap about my clothes. They need to learn what a smile is and to be a little more friendly. I will not be shopping or selling with them again. read more
