My piercer (Dani) said it may just be swollen and suggested waiting 2 weeks to determine if it was actually crooked, so I trusted that guidance. After 2 weeks, it was clear the piercing was indeed crooked. When I reached back out, Dani offered to re-pierce it, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience this caused. I would have had to travel 30 minutes each way again (paying for transportation both times), take more time out of my day, and go through the pain and anxiety of being pierced again--all due to an issue with the original service. What made this experience worse was the lack of empathy. Instead of recognizing my time, cost, and discomfort, the response focused only on her own expenses and policies. There was no real accountability, which is something I expect when paying this much for a service. I also want to mention that I was placed in a room with two other people being pierced at the same time. This felt extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Getting a piercing can already be an anxiety-inducing experience, and there should be a reasonable expectation of privacy during something like this. To put things in perspective, I've paid less to get two nostril piercings from an APP-certified piercer in Hollywood, California, where the level of professionalism, precision, and client care was significantly higher. That experience made it very clear that the pricing at this shop does not reflect the quality of service being provided. I ultimately requested a refund and never received a response. Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled is what defines a business. This experience totally lacked professionalism, accountability, and basic client care. I won't be returning and would recommend others carefully consider before going here. I will be posting screenshots of the conversation and my crooked bridge piercing

Just a note: this is also a store where, once you get inside (it's locked, understandably) the owner will come out, see if she knows you or you look rich enough, and if you don't meet inspection she goes into the back. The good: If you're into YSL, Balenciaga, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Prada, etc. they've got you covered. They get the goods in new and the prices seemed about right. I have no idea how their online marketplace(s) work, so I'm not sure if the recent review about that is accurate. I was mainly wanting to replace an Hermes wallet that has seen better days, but their selections were limited in the "not covered in logo" variety. If you like flashy things, again, this is your spot. The ehhhh: I'm not into flashy stuff (see above), though I do have some McQueen. I was more interested in their Hermes and Chanel, which they only carry used (along with Vuitton and some others). This became a bit of an issue, because the sweet lady trying to help me seemed clueless about the inventory. I was also curious as to how they did consignment, given that I have several bags that I just don't use. I didn't ask, however, because I wasn't super confident in getting a correct answer. I will say, sellers probably do alright because they have a monstrously overpriced Birkin in there that has bald corners and needs a spa visit (when I mentioned this to the salesperson, she looked at me like I had horns or needed meds--obviously, she had not heard of the Hermes spa). You can get the same Birkin on The Real Real, in far better shape, for $4k less. Overall, I probably would have had a better time I had trotted in with my Kelly bag...but I shouldn't have to do that. I'm giving them four stars because they carry authentic goods, but make sure you fit their idea of a customer before you pop in.

Next to these two stickers was a third sticker that stated "Complete set of 4 $160". As I checked out at the front of the store, I wanted to make sure that the vendor was getting paid what they were owed. I didn't bargain down or argue for the $40, I made sure the cashier knew that there were two conflicting prices and that I didn't want to shortchange the vendor. Upon first asking if the $40 was the correct price, she stated loud and rudely, "IT SAYS SPECIAL FOR FOURTY DOLLARS." This was all she spoke while making direct and antagonizing eye contact. I acknowledged her words gently and kindly, that I indeed saw that sticker but also noticed that there was a conflicting price tag NEXT to the $40 one. The more expensive price was not crossed out or written over, they were listed next to each other. What I didn't say, but was hoping to clarify, was whether the store was okay being on the hook for the extra $120 if they were only going to charge me $40. The cashier simply repeated the same words, louder this time, and very condescending in her tone and manner, "IT SAYS SPECIAL FOR FOURTY DOLLARS" and pointed to the sticker to make her point even clearer. She said nothing else. I paid without further comment. As she bagged up the four prints, she included the additional document with the price stickers on it. I inquired if she wanted to keep the ADDITIONAL document with the price tags and booth label (for her records), making sure she didn't slip it in by mistake. Her tone, still very loud and now even more condescending, resounded as she said, "I WON'T BE REMOVING THOSE STICKERS BECAUSE THEY WILL DAMAGE THE PAPER." I wasn't asking her for a lesson on how adhesive works, I was simply trying to allow her the opportunity to keep the documentation for the vendor and the store to prove that she charged me for the discounted price. I've grown up in antique stores. My grandmother and mother both currently own/have owned their own antique establishments, so I'm familiar with the protocol. Maybe their protocol is different. My bad. I did not respond further and took the bag gently from her hands. It could have been the simplest and most pleasant interaction though. "Oh I see that there are two conflicting prices here. Let me call the vendor and verify that this one is correct." Or perhaps "We are told to take the lowest price listed on each product, so I can guarantee this is the correct price. Thanks for the concern though! I appreciate you looking out for the vendor!" Something, ANYTHING, more pleasant in terms of tone and word choice, would have been a better experience. I have also been in her shoes. I have worked in marketing and customer service for the past 20 years. I have worked a front desk, many, many times. I have been a cashier. I have been the rep who answered tweets at 11pm where a customer needed toilet paper sent to their hotel room. I know what it's like to deal with belligerent , arrogant people, with people who actively try to make your life a living hell because you work behind a desk, behind a screen, behind a uniform. That was NOT my intention, and that's what I think stung the most. In being kind, in being thorough, I was treated with contempt. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe I caught her in a moment where she had just dealt with someone difficult and assumed I was the same. There are a number of reasons why this transaction was so unpleasant. "Give her some grace!", the masses might cry. And I might agree with you. Normally, I would. But she was old enough to know better. The job she holds is not one that is difficult to execute, nor difficult to execute PROPERLY. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Maybe I shouldn't have let this seemingly small incident make such a huge impact. Or maybe, just maybe, this could've turned out so drastically different if this young woman had exercised the bare minimum and just been kind to me in return.

It also stated it had a "60 Day Warranty" and no where did it state repairs only NO REFUNDS. I am a single working mother with 2 sons who have blood diseases and after speaking with Al over the phone found a person to pay and have the set picked up. When the pickup person arrived he entered the store asked Mrs. Peters (Manager) for Al and she stated "right over there." The washer tub has numerous rust spots and clothes have been damaged. I called and spoke with Al and asked for a refund and he stated "no refunds only repairs" and I stated that was not stated in the ad and he agreed that it was not. He offered to come to my home and change out the tub and again I requested my $$ back and that the ad needed to be clear in reference to a "60 Day Warranty". He at which time stated "it was not a good time for him to speak and that he was hanging up." I called him back and asked again for a refund and he stated no again and claimed he almost ran into something talking on the phone with me. I told him I would not call again but rather have legal contact him. Next, I called and spoke with Elizabeth Peters (Manager) of Advent Thrift and explained to her my circumstances, she indicated that he was leasing space and that she had not seen the ad. She wanted to call him and offered to call me back. I received a return call from her and she stated "He offered to repair the tub so leave me out of it." I am competing paperwork and filing a small claims judgement against Al. To protest not having the terms honored is worth the $78 plus $20 to have a sheriff serve the judgement/paperwork. Always keep receipts and take a screenshot of ads...I am so glad I did!! On the receipt, he had another opportunity to write "no refunds only repairs"...but he did not. Advent Thrift need to require leaser's to have insurance and state clearly they are a separate entity. They may be liable also.

Try and try again, I've tried to give this place multiples chances to provide better customer service and they have failed every time. The employees all seem to be stuck up and snobby, good luck getting help from anyone there. They are more interested in social hour than they are with providing any kind of customer service. The music selection is horribly offensive and loud. I am there to shop, not to go clubbing. They advertise that their items are gently used yet I have found jeans with blood stains in the crotch, holes and stains of lord knows what on other clothes. If you bring the defective items to their attention, they will offer a lousy 10% discount, if your lucky they will offer it without an eye roll. Like I've offended them for not wanting to buy the trash they sell. This place needs a huge clean up, not just the store but mainly the people who work there. I will not shop there ever again, I would much rather donate my stuff for free than contribute to this lousy business for the few measly bucks they do offer for your clothes. read more

Don't work here unless you wanna hate your job. your forced to put up new clothes all day and constantly clear off the return rack that's always overflowing. Check out customers and force the reward points down their throats. It's a bunch of teenagers who hate working there and hate doing their job and only tolerate it for the discount. I gave her the correct address but she did not enter it. They knew that the package wasn't going to be delivered, not because of my mistake but because of their employee's ineptitude. And instead of actually owning the fact that this was THEIR problem, they brushed me off. They could have fixed the problem (by maybe resending the shoes I ordered to the correct address, since the ones I ordered are being sent back to them) But they chose to not fix anything. I don't know why I thought I should support this company. What awful customer service. I am incredibly disappointed.

It will then show them if they have inventory in store; at a store nearby or online. If they don't have it, they will place the order for you along with fast free shipping. Orders normally ship via FedEx and deliver quickly. Of course the shopping bags your items come with are awesome. They are very versatile and I usually repurpose them for other things like taking to the pool or on the boat. They accept contactless payments like ApplePay and can email receipts.
