I drove 29 miles each way to Greenville sc Plato's. I brought in beautiful cheetah leggings and beautiful tops they didn't. buy one thing. they said it's not items that will sell. I do not believe that mine were beautiful better than what was on racks. hardly worn brand new. every item I had brought in was 15 18 20 that I brought. if they ever buy they only give 2.00 to 3.00. what an insult I'll never be back. read more

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD! I went in with a brand new pair of shoes basically, i had only wore my Jordans once which retailed at $140 so i figured id get at least $50-$60, i know they have been known to scam people as far as not paying what stuff is worth or refusing perfectly good close; but as i waited i walked around the store and noticed everything on their racks looks like crap, over worn, missing the inside soles, scuffed up and everything so i was fully expecting mine to be worth a good amount as they look perfect; when it was finally my turn i return to the counter for them to tell me they will give me $6.40 for a $140 pair of shoes; i obviously was smart enough to laugh at that ridiculous ass offer and take my shoes back as i know plenty of people who will buy them at a better price. Stop letting this sorry excuse for a business rip y'all off, better iff just donating it than getting ripped off, i recommend anyone that's ganna sell their clothes to have a yard sale, or use poshmark or facebook and get what your stuff is actually worth read more

Two stars bc the staff is always friendly and the store is organized well. The store is filled with 90% fast fashion brands that are very poorly made. They used to carry quality brands with a mix of fast fashion brands, but now it's all crap. These brands aren't meant to last, meaning they don't hold up well to be resold to live a second life. Everyone always talks about how Plato's intake process is challenging because of the discretion about what they choose...so I was really shocked at the product they do choose. Is the discretion used simply about the styles?? Because it sure is not about quality or integrity. Yeah, it's cheap to shop there, but that crap is going to fall apart and be ready for the trash soon. read more

Never come here with clothing you think they will take off your hands! I wear a lot of brand clothes american eagle, hollister, etc. i came to drop off a lot of clothes they can take from me and got a notification not even 20 min later saying they were ready for me to pick up the clothes they did not keep. Not sure why they are so picky or what their deal is but how do you not take a Balenciaga dress off my hands?? Whoever finds my clothing in goodwill will definitely make their day! read more

I've been to a lot of these stores and this one has great management. The employees are welcoming and friendly. They are helpful when I need a fitting room and quick with check out. The store is organized very well for the huge amount of inventory. They have everything separated and sized which is great. Guys items in back, shoes on the top racks, athletic clothes, tanks, long sleeve, blouses, jeans, designer items, dresses, shorts, skirts, swim, jewelry. Prices are awesome but it is second hand so definitely try it on because there's a reason someone got rid of it! Look for holes in clothing since people can rip trying stuff on. They had nothing cute and it smells so bad,and a bunch of teenagers is the staff! No adults!!

SO I had a dress and long sleeve to return. I had my receipt AND My tags. The tags just weren't attached. Told me there wasn't anything they could do. I asked several times why, I also wasn't told that the tags had to be attached. I didn't see a problem, I just bought the items before thanksgiving (5) days ago. I have no use for the clothes, as they do not fit. I'm very upset. read more

I don't know what happened to the inventory but I went to the store a couple days ago and the inventory was terrible. The clothing and shoes were worn out looking and some were dirty. I've gone there in the past to sell clothing that was in good condition and gently used, they were extremely picky about what they would take and now the store looks more like a Goodwill. read more
