Well once they were contacted by the company that ensures my windshield they gave me a call and explained the process. Super laid back and easy to work with. Had me come in for a picture of the damage. Then once the windshield was in they called me back and scheduled an appointment to get it installed. Took it to them and they even drove me back to work. Plus dropped my car back off to me later that day at work. Lovely little office inside and great people working here. Highly recommended.

The technician said he was not advised by the front counter to install it. When the technician came out after I talked to them, he was unable to installthe trim, advised that he had never seen trim like this, and said it was aftermarket trim. The truck is a 2012 Dodge, and it came with the trim around the windshield, so now I am left with a 1/2 inch gap across the top of my windshield. If you pull up a new 2012 Dodge Powerwagon you can clearly see that they come with black rubber windshield trim. What will Safelite Auto Glass do about this since the technician at the Scottsbluff store had no knowledge of installing this. I expect a response on this inquiry. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I'd put fingernail polish on the chip because I was afraid it would crack further ... they very kindly told me not to do that again as it can make repair more difficult. A piece of transparent tape is enough to keep dirt out until a repair can be made. The nice lady at the desk walked me through the claim on my insurance company's app. Easy peasy!

I've reached out to Platinum Auto Glass for two different jobs so far. These guys are great! Not only did they come to Frederick from Loveland, but in both instances they were able to make same day appointments. They're polite, courteous, friendly, affordable and professional. Do yourself a favor - don't call Safelite - Call Platinum Auto Glass and save yourself a lot of money. If you life outside of the Loveland/Longmont area, they usually will meet customers at the American Furniture Warehouse off i25 and HWY 119 to do their repairs.
