Was in the area for a short trip and needed a place for the kids to let out some energy. The Play Day Cafe was perfect! We got there at open so it wasn't very busy which I preferred. I had two little ones on my own so I appreciated the toddler area being in the same line of sight as the big kid area so I could keep my eye on both kids. The place was extremely clean, had family friendly music for the kids and a good amount of seating for adults. Lots of different things for kids of all ages. They had cubbies at the front and asked us to put our shoes there so we didn't track dirt or water into the play area. Socks are required everywhere inside as well. I was able to climb up in the equipment as well when needed to go down the slide with my niece who was afraid to go on her own. There was a snack area as well, although we didn't eat anything during our visit. The staff was extremely nice and helpful as well. My only recommendation to improve would be to make the gate to the front entrance lock so kids can't get out it on their own. read more

When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. The staff was very nice and explained the rules and where to put our shoes. My son loved this place! DO NOT COME HERE! We came today (2/22/25) at 10:08am and first issue was not being greeted by staff. Staff was very standoffish, which is not a good first impression of the facility. Upon paying, we were not told any Information on how the play area was set up/ nor any info about the cafe. Again, the staff member that assisted me was rude. Second issue: The area to walk inside is also the area where guests come in; as it is winter- your socks are wet before you even get inside the play area. The third issue: the large and small jungle play areas have thick layers of dust and dirt on the cushions surrounding the metal play structure- which lets customers know that they do NOT clean nor disinfect their play areas for the children. The fourth issue: the toys in general (excluding the wiggle cars) are extremely old, worn down, and peeling- making the high prices of this place- not worth it. Why would you pay $8.99 for an adult, and $18.99 for one child for dirty and old play equipment? Fifth issue: the cafe prices are ridiculous. They have a snack pack for children which includes a very tiny bag of goldfish, fruit cup, and apple sauce- for the price of $10. Completely not worth it for such small items. An absolutely horrible experience- I do NOT recommend. We left at 10:34am- we could not stay any longer (we stayed less than 30minutes) and decided to just eat the $28 we paid for. read more

We used to come here a lot. I always thought the prices were high however fair due to the cleanliness ect. Well now they raised prices even more! 18.99 for a child and 8.99 for an adult non participation admission. They have rules posted everywhere. Like so many rules it's insane. Traumatic experience for my child's 4th Birthday. Please do not support this business. The owner was aware of what was happening & allowed my daughter's Birthday party to end with tears. We were able to take some of the party to the Make believe center in Parma but my daughters best friend & the main reason we had chosen play day, could not go. Several adults with us commented or agreed that the women responsible for our nightmare would be better suited working for the prison system, Not with children . I wanted to bring a Birthday cake as my 4yr old wanted her dream cake at the party. There were mostly adults, & 2 children. Because of the small kid group would be silly to pay for a whole party on top of the entrance fees. Called payday when trying to find a spot that would allow a cake & was told on the phone that we could pay $5 per person and bring in whatever we wanted. On the day came in, paid the fees & after about an hour of playtime I was informed that if we didn't leave the premises with our cake that she would call the police. We explained to her what we had been told on the phone, & that it must be policy because we were allowed to pay the $5 per person fee without question when we entered. She denied that it was their policy even though we had paid. We asked that the owner or general manager be contacted. The police came. My child left crying in my arms on her 4th Birthday. Heartbroken for my child, & in complete shock that that this injustice was possible. read more

Play Day Cafe is our favorite indoor playground! It's conveniently located by AMC Movie Theater and a couple hotels, so it would be a great place if you're traveling to the area with kids! Adults & Infants-11mo: Free 12mo - 2yrs: $11 3-12yrs: $15 The cafe is really nice and offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, snacks and lunch options. There is ample seating to relax or get some work done while your kids play for a couple hours - if you have a hot spot you'll definitely need that as there's no internet. It's a great place for kids! Think about kids 2-8 yo. For older kids it won't be interesting. Sometimes even 7-8 are bored here. They have space for little ones that is located aside. I can't say that there are many interesting climbers or sliders. However, I like that this place is clean, colorful and spacious. The restrooms are usually clean too, that is important for not spreading germs. I would suggest to visit this place earlier in a day bc at evenings gets busy and kids do not enjoy that. The price is 15$ per child and it's unlimited. There is cafe and you can order some snacks and appetizers while having tea or coffee. Probably biggest minus is that there is no limit if people being in the place bc sometimes it gets overly crowded. In general we like coming here. read more

Be warned they charge parents to enter the facility who legally have to be there anyways. I used to take my tot here a lot. Like "5 days a week" a lot. Every entry on my credit card statement is play day cafe. That was last winter when the owner was okay for parent to follow tot upstairs during weekdays when it's not busy. This year, however, the staff informed me adults can't go upstairs, or only allowed in the front where the big slides are. I stopped coming here period. The problem is two folds for me: 1. Safety: my child has encountered bullies here before. Her head was pinned to the ground by other kids who were maybe a year older than her. This is the intentional behavior. Not to mention the un-intentional frequent incidents when older kids just pushed younger kids around when they rushed through the tunnels. So you understand I need to by her side upstairs. 2. Child's developmental need: My tot is still at the age that she wouldn't go anywhere far without the caretaker. So essentially I paid a premium fee for her to utilize 50% of the facility. Yes they have a "monitor" staff downstairs. But that doesn't take care of either condition 1 or 2. read more

Went here on a Wednesday with my partner, (almost) 2 year old, and infant. It was maybe an hour and a half before closing, so there weren't many other people there. They have you take off your shoes and you can hang your coat in the cubby area they have at the front. Of course, there are signs that they aren't responsible for stolen items but that there is video surveillance of the area. We all got wristbands and proceeded in. It's a nice sized indoor playground. It seemed to be pretty clean and had a fair amount of seating areas. I could see it being a bit of an issue on a busy Saturday, though, to find a seat and watch your kids. Our toddler went into the 3 and under area where there were only 1 or 2 other kids who ended up leaving. She mostly played by herself with the puzzles that are fastened to the wall and the soft oversized stacking blocks. Dad and I took turns going into the area to help her through the tubes, up the stairs, and down the slide. It's a pretty small toddler section, which makes sense. But, again, on a busy Saturday I would be concerned about the amount of kids in such a small space. Our daughter is pretty subdued and I could see a lot of rambunctious little people being overwhelming! In the last hour, they called out every 15 minutes to let patrons know when they would be closing. We didn't get a chance to check out the cafe so I can't speak to quality or price. I did use the restroom to change my infant and found that the baby changing station in the women's restroom was broken. It had a sign directing me to the family restroom. It appeared clean and well set up, but walking in there in my socks made me gag. They also have a "mother's room" that I assume is for nursing. It had a sign saying it was available but the door was locked. I would have liked to see inside as I am a nursing mother. I ended up nursing my son in the seating area without issue and there weren't many people around anyway. Overall, I would like to go back and I think my daughter had a good time. Notice all of the good reviews are before Dec 2021? They massively changed their pricing structure making it much more expensive than any other indoor playground in the area. I absolutely understand that businesses are struggling but no other indoor playground has been as aggressive with their prices. Prior to COVID, $11 would get your child all day in the facility, adults and infants under 1yo were free. When they reopened post COVID they increased the price to $15 and limited play times to 2 hour sessions and required reservations. This was understandable as most places had similar policies. However, in Dec 2021, they completely changed their business model and began price gouging. They increased the rate from $15 to $19, but that wasn't really the worst part. They decided that increasing the price per child was not enough, they made it so that every Adult and child under 1 year old has to pay $9 for the 2 hour session. Prices pre-Dec 2021 compared to post-Dec 2021: 2 adults + 1 toddler: was $15 is now: $37 (146% increase) 2 adults + 2 toddlers: was $30 is now: $56 (87% increase) 2 adults + 1 infant + 1 toddler: was $15 is now: $46 (207% increase) This is a pretty insane amount to raise prices and they have undoubtedly lost business due to this. This should be restricted to older kids. Or have a separate area created for littles. My 1 year old was almost crushed in the designated toddler area over 4 times by children way too old (5+) who shouldn't have been in there. Partly to blame is the parents. But there's a sign on the door proclaiming short staff. Short staff shouldn't mean complete disregard for safety. No one was walking around just checking on equipment or safety. Not a single person. They stayed at their desks. There's no point in bringing a child here who's 4 and under. The staff just don't care and the parents are equally terrible. I wish I would've read the reviews from past people throwing parties here (on Facebook) because I experienced the same terrible customer service. The facility itself is great, cool spot for the kids and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming but the people that work there are terrible. Let all of them go and rehire because I don't think they are happy at all and it felt like I was bothering them smh. Wasn't helpful. Provided incorrect information constantly, only received correct information from reading my contract. Last 20 mins of the party they started turning off the lights and continued to basically rush us out. We only had 6 kids due to covid and they only had 2 employees there, which we didn't bother at all. I would not recommend this place for parties nor will I be back. Such a great concept! Fun for all ages and in such an open area that parents can let their kids run loose without too much concern. We began visiting PDC when our LO was 12 months old. He was just beginning to walk and enjoyed the toddler area very much. There wasn't more he could do being so young but we found the toddler area had enough developmental activity to keep him interested and entertained. It has tumbling mats and blocks and miniature obstacle course. I would recommend this area for babies who have good head and neck control, sitters, crawlers, and new walkers. It's a clean safe environment and staff is really hands on with older children out of this area. As our LO grew in age, height and confidence he began navigating other areas. He's now able to enjoy the big kids play center, the zip line (with our assistance) and he loves the maze. We are very interactive as most parents are. The facility is clean. They have a no outside food policy but have a selection of beverages, snacks and other food items for purchase. We've visited most indoor play centers in the area. PDC offers a good environment, especially for physical activity and the reward of watching your child complete an activity that they may not have been able to do at a prior visit. read more

Best indoor play place around! My kids (4 and 7) had a blast for 4 hours. This place feels twice the size of the other places we have visited. There are five different areas to entertain: the all over jungle gym, a floor video game, wiggle car race track, ball shooting place, and a toddler space. Everything is well maintained and super clean. They even have a cool setup of storage for coats and shoes in the front so there is no clutter in the play area. Plus the cafe has healthy and tasty food options along with all the fancy coffee drinks. Admission does cost a few bucks extra compared to other places but totally worth it. read more

My family and I have loved bringing my kids here (ages 5 and 3) for over a year now. It's always been a little pricey, but was worth the splurge because of its size and sometimes Ohio weather keeps us inside too much. We went for the first time in a couple of months today and unfortunately it is now completely overpriced and we will not be coming back. I get that everyone is raising their prices and I expect that, but now they charge $9 PER ADULT to watch your own kid. As an adult you are not allowed on any of the equipment, but in order for my 3 year old to go I have to pay $19 plus $9 for me! Mind you they have set prefix times so you can only go max two hours assuming you arrive right at the open time, otherwise you get even less than that. My six month old who can only sit, no crawling, no toys there to play with is an additional $9. So for my family for 1.5 hours of fun it cost us $70- no food, no drink, nothing additional. I just don't think that's realistic for us to come here as often as we would like. read more

Took my kids to the play day café today. My kids are ages 2 and a half and 4 months. Place is located in solon in the back of what seems to be a industrial type of setting. If it was not for gps I would never know it was there. When you walk in there are two touch screen computers you must use upon first first to create and sign a waiver for your kids. Once you do that you check in and the kids get a wrist band as well as parents. We paid $9 for my son every one else was free admission. My son had a lot of fun my only semi complaint it adults are not allowed to go up and play with their kids. I feel if I went up with my son he might of explored more of the play area then he did on his own. I will definitely make the drive from Willoughby again. read more

I love this place and think its a great spot for the kids to run around and use their energy. Very clean and there is so much to do!! Best part is that it is SUPER affordable!! The only PROBLEM I feel could be improved or addressed is that there is no "security". Meaning anyone can grab or pick up my child and take them out of the building. Update: 4/2017. We visited PDC again this month. Now I understand why one needs to sign a waiver before being allowed on the play equipment. Although on our first visit there was a (rather ineffectual) monitor, this time, when it was less crowded, there was no staff member monitoring the children on the equipment. This is really not a place to sit and relax with your tablet or phone and a beverage while your kids or grand kids play. They don't have free WiFi which seriously limits any internet activities. As all parents know, it only takes one misbehaving, unsupervised and undisciplined child to set the tone for others. I found myself watching my grandsons like the proverbial hawk. Also, another poster said adults aren't allowed on the equipment. Both times we've visited, there have been adults playing with their children on the equipment. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and the place is VERY clean. The food is comparably priced, consisting of salads and deli (lunch meat) sandwiches, plus pastries. My grandsons love this place and we will certainly be back. It is not a "cheap date", costing close to $50 for admission and lunch for the 3 of us. But when your grandkids are your heart and soul, you just suck it up! read more
