I placed an online order for a Ping Putter. Submitted credit card info and received a confirmation email that my order was placed. Order #72122 (if anyone at the store wants to look into it). Shortly after I received an email saying the purchase was canceled. So, I called the store for an explanation. The manager said the store owner canceled the order because he believes he can sell the item for more money. I paid the asking price! This certainly isn't very good business practice. Think twice before ordering from this location. I plan to contact the BBB and leave reviews on all platforms. Treat your customers better. read more

Holy smokes. Play It Again Sports has a HUGE variety of equipment for sale. Bikes, hockey accessories, golf paraphernalia, wrestling gear, treadmills, skis, baseball/softball gloves, and a whole lot more. You name it, they probably have it. Even the obscure stuff. Some areas are more heavily stocked than others (think golf clubs vs. rollerblades), but they do have a little bit of everything. Don't assume that all of their merchandise is used. That just isn't the case. I found prices to be pretty reasonable, but don't expect to get all that much if you're selling to them. Really want top dollar for your bike? Golf clubs? Treadmill? Stick to selling via eBay or other online marketplaces with wider audiences. Play It Again is especially great for families who have kids participating in a multitude of sports--I'd never buy new if I had kids constantly outgrowing cleats/pants/gloves/bats/etc. When we walked were greeted right away by the nice young guy working. Kudos for that. He seemed very knowledgable when it came to the questions we did ask. Huge store. Very well kept and fun to browse/shop. On a budget or not, I highly, highly recommend Play It Again. read more

Play it again this place has been here for some time now, they have a large selection of sporting equipment some new some old. You won't find high end brand stuff here but they have some pretty good stuff here. Stephine and I were looking for a softball bat for her and found a decent bat for $20 they did have some never used bats that were from the early 2000s some were cheap some were pricey, but the pricey ones were 50% off they had a lot of baseball bats as well. They have some cleats some new and some used, not sure I would ever pay for someones old cleats kind of gross. If I have any friends that need sporting equipment for a charity game or just for fun and they don't want to spend much I take them to play it again sports. read more

I give this place a two star review because I like there selection in snowboards, but their customer service was terrible. I went in with the intention to trade in one of my boards for one that they had in stock. After being told they only take high end Burton snowboards. I went on to explain that my board was manufactured by burton but a different brand. but the clerk wouldn't even let me explain and kept shooting down anything I had to say, then he went on to say that the boss plays their check and what the boss says goes. I then asked to speak with his boss to see if I could work something out and then he responded with "sure but I don't think that will change anything" we decided not to speak with the manager and we're considering buying the other board out right but with the way I was treated, this clerk basically shooed me out of the store along with any hopes of making a sale He believes his boss pays him, but who pays his boss? The customers, yes, and with the way I was treated for just trying to negotiate and ask a few questions, I think it's safe to say I won't be paying for anything from there. The clerks attitude was very disrespectful and he really didn't even give me the time of day to talk to make a conversation. Just rushed me out of the store. Honestly, if they wont going to exchange my board for the one I wanted I would have bought it anyways. But he won't have know that if he would have let me at least speak. Your customer are the ones playing your bills and keeping your business going. I was about to buy that board today but I left because that guy wasn't having it. I realize that they have a specific type of board they were looking for but the customer service was awful and I felt like just because I didn't have what they wanted in a snowboard that I was not worth their time. Went there for the first time the other day. The staff was very helpful at assisting me with finding what I needed. Need to shop for our sons first year in baseball equipment. I did not want to spend a fortune so many of my friends suggested trying there first. The prices were great! I got 2 used bats, 1 new ball bag, new gloves, new cup protector, 1 pair used bb shoes, and glove oil all for $103. I will go there again! read more

My son and I left two bats and a catchers mitt to be sold. 5hey filled out a paper, took my phone number,email address etc. They told me what they were worth and I agreed. I asked if I could get a receipt for leaving them there and I was told it wasn't needed and I was good to go. I told my son when we left that it all seemed odd to me. That was a couple months ago. Today I called to see if they had sold any of it because I hadn't heard anything. They told me they don't sell on consignment and always pay upfront at the store when bringing items in. I said I wasn't paid anything. My son as a witness. The owner said he checked his records and showed paying me cash and it was him that gave it to me. But he didn't even wait on me. The guy I had was new so the owner got him started on the paperwork and then the new guy took over. I basically am out of luck and was told there was nothing they could do. I got ripped off $91 bucks. My fault I guess. Always listen to your gut feeling! I use to buy stuff there. Never again! Hope it was worth the $91 bucks to loose me as a customer and tell other people my story. I even had bought a new first basemen's mit the day I dropped the other items off.
