There were some places offering $10 a day pass but didn't have a sauna or steam room. This place had both plus an ice room. Which was more like a really high air conditioning room. Nothing like serious cold. They also had a pool which seemed like only a bunch of old people use. The training area with turf was really nice but if that stop light is red (I posted a picture) that means the trainer is there with a client and you're not allowed. If it's orange you are allowed but to be careful and green it's a free for all. Not many people use it but it has bunch of cool equipment to use there too. The gym had everything and I was only able to find one thing broken which is rare at a gym this big. They also have one of those dryers for your bathing suits in the mens locker room if you do bring a bathing suit for sauna or pool. It's a bring your own towel like most gyms but for such a high gym membership I thought they may include that but nothing I could really complain about this gym except pricing.

I did it for the membership and the personal training as training went I found myself getting weaker and found out that I had breast cancer, which caused me to have to stop. I try to let them know about the situation and they said that I made an obligation and therefore I am fully obligated to the full year no matter my situation they are not sensitive to your needs. My son continued his membership, but they completely lied to him about being able to exit with no additional fees and backpedaled on their conversation. They're out for the money. Do not trust this establishment.

It's a great gym and Trevor is fine. The cleanliness is the highest of the three gyms I've belonged to. The locker rooms do not smell and do not have that layer of biofilm on the floor that legit every gym locker room I've ever seen has. It's a product of the low traffic - join this gym. It's a blessing to walk around in an immaculate locker room and not squish through biofilm with every step. Someone mentioned Trevor. He's probably on the spectrum (can you blame him for that or does the other person lack understanding?) I've found Trevor very friendly and I think that person is just self conscious in a way that does not know how to cope with interactions with the hyper male things-over-people-oriented genius mind those on the spectrum have.

Joined for lap swimming. When pool is open, it's usually almost perfect. BUT (and this is a big…read more"BUT") management of the pool schedule is bad. Hours for lap swim posted on their website are usually not correct as pool is not open when hours posted say it is. Was told by front desk people their website is not accurate and I should only use their new 'app' to check hours. So I loaded app and have used that to check pool lap swim hours. Tried to swim on weekday last week. Checked app 2 hours prior and said lap swim open 1:00-5:00 pm. Arrived at 2:10, changed and got to pool deck at 2:15 only to be told "We are closing for 30 minutes from 2:30 to 3:00 today." Today, a Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. app says pool open for lap swim from 10:00-1:00 pm. Arrived at 11:00 only to find out pool is closed due to swim team practice. they are "very sorry" for my inconvenience. This has happened 4 or 5 times in past month. Frustrating to plan my day/week, drive to the YMCA, and show up only to find out pool is not available. Seems like this is happening more and more often in past 5-6 weeks. If only we could know when pool will be available for lap swim. Seems like this should not be that hard to do. Put someone in charge of schedule and posting updates. And, once hours posted, stick to that schedule.

I decided to try this class because I was getting bored with my workouts and wanted to try something new and different. I had never done a class like this before so I was nervous at first, but the instructor, Tom, made it seem easy. He is really knowledgeable about the sport and teaches the real thing. None of this Tai Bo stuff . The hour is spent learning kickboxing all the while keeping the heart rate up. My favorite thing was punching and kicking the heavy bag. A super stress-reliever! Hopefully others try this class because it is a great class and is reasonably priced ($30/month). For that, you can go to this class 2x per week and get an amazing 1-hr workout. Wednesdays at 7:30PM and Saturdays at 11AM. Check it out. The more the merrier!
