So I sent a message just to make sure that this included the day we planned to go and they told me to check back with them the next day to see if we'd be able to go or not! I asked if I could message them at 7 am and they said yes and that they would be "watching for my message!" So I sent a message a little before 7 asking how the river was that morning with no reply! So I sent another message about 45 minutes later that said it was ok if we couldn't go, but that we had a 2 hour drive so I wanted to make sure either way...again no response! They didn't respond the entire day! Communication is so Important for a business and while I completely understand that the river level is out of their control, a quick message back saying they'd have to stay closed is all I asked for!

I called and a nice person named Annette answered and said that yes they were open. I found the place with help from signs leading to the place. I was met and checked in with Annette. Found out that I would have a tent area to myself as it was during the week. I bought some firewood and Annette's husband John delivered it to my site, which was on the river. Very peaceful. They had the usual amenities I.E full hookups plus volleyball, horseshoe pits, showers, hiking and horse trails and a nice beach. John and Annette have a real nice place there. Go check it out.

I recommend having someone in your group in a kayak. That way they can paddle you out of obstacles. They can also have room for your cooler. We saw bald eagle and and an owl. The good part is, the only thing that gets wet is your feet! We had rented a tube with a bottom. It was a lovely day outside after being stuck at home for so long. The staff was friendly and prompt with service. The moment you got to the end of the float, employees were there to assist getting your equipment out of the water and were ready to give you a ride to your car. MRC was responsibly following social distancing and everything felt clean. We had a great time! I'm ready to go back!!

When they went the next day to rent, the owner was on the phone and didn't acknowledge them until they loudly said they were going to google the other bike shop. Then he finally helped them get two bikes. The one didn't have a water bottle cage, and they asked for one, but the owner was unhelpful. He also didn't help with seat adjustment or helmet adjustment even though they asked for help. These ladies are 74 and 63, and really did want help, but the owner just didn't seem to care. Bottom line is that they were just unhappy, and wished they'd gone to Nuts Outdoors.

Site let us book site #4 even asking for size of rig, but once we arrived Large signage read-No Big Rigs ,narrow to no turn around for this site. We disconnected our tow car and drove around looking for a spot. We were able to locate site 30 which read 45 ft with full hook ups. However we barely at 40 ft fit,even had to back up Over fire ring to fit and park our tow. We then saw it is electric only,Not full hook ups. We are parked and staying for our original 3 nights, however we are very disappointed at the discrepancy in the description of park,it is really for for TT,Campers, tents..id say 34 ft max for sites. Make sure you scout your site first to assure you will fit
