Playing on this course a few years ago, as our first exposure to foot golf, we recalled rather…read moreenjoying it, so we decided to try it out again pro: the course was quite large; 18 holes integrated within the standard golf course, creating a decently sized game, with a nice long walk throughout cons: the course wasn't well maintained; the start tee markers were inconsistently difficult to locate (missing or mis-colored yellow blocks), the buckets & flags were often popped out, chipped, tilted, or broken creating some handicaps for our final shots the fairways and greens were very hilly, so it was more aim, kick, and adjust for the hill roll than direct soccer ball skills a few holes were very tightly near the driving range, making playing a few holes feel very dangerous overall, having since played at a few other foot golf courses, while we were intrigued by the larger number of holes offered here- we'd far prefer the better up-keep, more well maintained courses, and less dangerous holes the other courses have to offer

We played Footgolf here on a Sunday morning in the summer and it was surprisingly empty. For those…read morewho aren't familiar with Footgolf, it's exactly what it sounds like: The goal is to kick a soccer ball into a large hole in as few 'shots' as possible. We played 18 holes of Footgolf for $26 (including two ball rentals) in about two hours, and really enjoyed it. If you've never played Footgolf, it's super fun and doesn't require any skill other than being able to kick a ball, and this is a great place to try it out. The Footgolf course is integrated into their nine-hole 'regular' golf course, which made for a nice walk. The golf course is a par-33 course with no par-fives, but it was pretty hilly with some tight fairways, so it isn't necessarily an 'easy' course either. The fairways and greens were well-maintained, especially in comparison to other public courses in the area. All told, I will definitely be back for more Footgolf and/or 'regular' golf.

Go somewhere else. Anywhere else…read more They sold me a defenctive inner tube. Not their fault. When I brought it back, they just looked at the box and said over and over that it was the right size. I agreed that it was the right size, but pointed out, repeatedly, that the actual tube in the box was defective. They didn't even look at it. Finally, they told me that they would prove it to me by watching me install the defective tube myself, with a single tire lever they handed to me, while they stood around and watched. After I started to install the tube, which would not fit -- because it was defective -- they told me I was doing it wrong (but did not tell me what they thought I was doing wrong). I left the store. I went to Tarrapin -- a competitor nearby. They sold me an inner tube for $2 less. I installed it myself (at home -- I don't really need an audience for that) in about 2 minutes. I just went on a wonderful ride. No problems. There's more. Instead of writing a negative review, I emailed the owner in hopes of an apology and maybe an explanation. That did not happen. A co-owner emailed back and said that he had been one of the people at the shop and they were "only trying to help." The kicker from him: "to be very clear: neither my staff nor I called you names, insulted you, or attacked you in any way." Nobody accused this guy of committing any crimes, but apparently his view is that customer service is successful so long neither he nor his staff attacks a customer. These guys are just obnoxious jerks. There's no need to give them your money.

I had a very disappointing experience with this bike shop…read more. I originally chose this location because it's close to Walter Reed, where I work. I was excited to pick up my new bike, but I never received a call that it was ready, so I had to come in and check myself. I asked if I could take the bike as-is and have a mechanic assemble it elsewhere, but they refused and said it had to be assembled by them or I'd be responsible for any issues. Since assembly was included, I agreed to wait. At pickup, the experience got worse. The owner made fun of me for not getting clipless pedals for it. He said people will make fun of me having this bike with a flat pedal. I'm a beginner rider and not comfortable using clipless yet, especially since they require dedicated shoes. That kind of attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional. There was also confusion with my order. I had purchased additional items through Specialized, but the shop didn't seem aware and substituted some parts with their own inventory without clearly communicating it. During the fitting, the owner made a comment about me wearing Yeezy slides while adjusting my saddle height, which again felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Once I finally rode the bike, I started noticing multiple issues: The front wheel was not aligned properly The bar tape was installed incorrectly (wrapped backwards) The brake hoses were cut too short and routed too tightly around the stem Because of the brake hose issue, when I later changed handlebars, I had to pay extra for a new hose. These are basic assembly details that should have been done correctly the first time. When I brought these issues up, the shop dismissed my concerns and claimed I assembled the bike myself, which is not true. I gave them another chance with a second bike, but the result was similar. The drivetrain was so poorly set up that we initially thought something was broken. After multiple visits where they couldn't fix it, we ended up taking the bike to Trek another shop in Rockville, where it was resolved quickly with proper tuning. Overall, this shop showed a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and subpar assembly work (probably their new tech). I would not recommend them.
