Pure entertainment and fun. I had to cancel my Dave & Busters membership because I found something better. All walks of life and I love it. Had some guy who was 50years old on my team and was hilarious (most people are 20s-30s). Some people are there to socialize, others think being amazing at Kickball will somehow make their father proud and forget the highschool disappointment of riding the bench. Some teams are super competitive to the point they dope like the Russian Olympic squad but also really chill teams and of course there are some hawties (like almost as good as those fake profiles on Bumble). You can't lose. I'd join, I made 22 new friends. Now i have a total of 19 friends (rounding down to the nearest prime number). Definitely worth the $$$. read more

Iv played Lodo Kickball and loved it as well as Skeball at Blake Street which was also a ton of fun.

This League is a Joke. I paid $50 for a t-shirt and to play 3 games so far this season? And our only consolation is 'we'll buy you beer' Sorry - I didn't sign up to play kickball so I could drink cheap beer in a bar that clearly doesn't want us there based on their level of customer service when we arrive. I realize you can't control the weather, but you can control the fact that you don't have a back up plan for 3 weeks worth of canceled games. At a minimum - you should have found an indoor something, ANYTHING for your customers to do in lieu of our canceled games. Or at a minimum, a partial season refund, or credit to another one. In Addition - you changed the times that we signed up to play and the field we signed up to play on. While this may not be inconvenient for some of your players, the ones you drive across town in rush hour traffic to get to their games - it impacts greatly. And the online system you use to score or update people or what have you, also doesn't work and is wildly inaccurate 99% of the time. Coming from a customer service and sales career, and one that relies greatly on the accuracy of information that goes out to my clients, you need to rethink your business model and how you communicate. I played as a sub for flag football and ended up breaking two bones, getting a concussion and having several surgeries. When I called play mile high to ask who was the guy that hit me, they refused to return my phone calls. I never signed a waiver and I was never told about the dangers that could be encounter while playing. Everyone should be aware that these league are pretty competitive and the guys that play them will tackle you even though it's supposed to be a noncontact sport. read more

I have never been so disappointed with an organization. I have played KIFAC AND Play Mile High kickball multiple years and always had a blast! This year we joined Volo Sports Kickball cup in hand and have had a horrible experience. Everything is extremely unorganized, they put us in the wrong league and told us we don't get our $$ back. When we showed up to play we were told wrong directions, wrong park, and we needed to provide our own cups (you get one shirt, typically other leagues provide a cup for uoj as well). The WORST part of it all is you get about 30 minutes to play and that's it! Each week we have had new all coaches aka referees (staff) are all so rude. I have no met one friendly staff member. When asked questions they are rude, the list goes on. Charging players up to $70+ to play you would think we would get more out of this. I will gladly go back to KIFAC next time, they took the fun out of kickball for me this year:( read more

Truly an awfully run organization. Referees aren't real and don't know the rules. We are in a 7v7 league and someone at Play mike high made the decision that 24 people could fit...on a roster for 7 players. This means even if ppl sub responsibly to make it fair, we'd only get a few minutes to play. And this happened to my team after the third week. Like they got rid of a team from the league and added them to our team bc they didn't want to have to pay their "refs" to be on the field for an extra hour, and instead ruined the experience for my team that went from 12 players to 24 players....in a 7v7 league....I swear it's idiots running this place read more

I've been doing kickball with Play Mile High for a while now. All of the people playing in the league are amazing! That is not the issue. At first the staff running things were great! However, over the last couple seasons things have been falling apart.... There have often been times where the staff members are too drunk to properly organize things. I understand this is a league focused around meeting people, drinking, and having a good time. I am also all for drinking a bit when your on the job (trust me I work in child care), but when you are too drunk to focus on last minute issues that come up and just laugh it off like you don't give a shit there is a problem. Scheduling has recently become a huge issue as well. The league is overlapping seasons and double booking games. When we call to inform them about this, the staff laughs it off and basically tells us good luck figuring it out. I understand that this overall is for charity, but people are putting forward quite a bit of money for these leagues and more professionalism from the staff would be appreciated. read more

This organization is more about making cash than it is about the overall experience of the people who play in the leagues that it runs. Minimum of 16 people to sign up a kick ball team? Volleyball refs who don't even know the basic rules of the sport. I had one good season of Bocce, but after playing kickball and volleyball, I finally realized that Play Mile High is a god damn joke, and I don't even believe in god. I get that the social aspect of these leagues may sound enticing, but please don't give these people any of your hard earned dough. They don't deserve it. read more

After just moving to the Denver area, play mile high was the first soccer league I joined and I can say I will never be playing again. The league is expensive, the field quality, referees, and equipment are all horrible. We played at City Park where grass was extremely long and surface uneven. Fields are marked only with cones and the goals flimsy plastic with netting, not real metal, something anyone could buy at a sporting goods store. Referees are immature, argumentative and lazy since they don't move from half field. With all that being so awful, I was at least hopeful the advertised bar scene would be quality. Unfortunately, not the case. Week one we were sent to a bar that was closed. Week two we were sent to a bar that had no idea what the league was nor were they offering any discounts. Week three they claimed to have it figured out, but our team gave up because we had such little confidence in the leagues ability to organize anything. Moral of the story, not worth the money and league is disorganized and poor quality. Try an Apex league instead! read more

I was asked by a friend to join their volleyball league with mile high so I signed up very excited for it. Unfortunately, a little over 24 hours after I registered I was laid off of my job due to the pandemic. I email the mile high staff explaining the situation and asking for a refund and they refused me a refund and sent me to their cancellation policy. Their policy at the time mentioned that for special instances people could receive a partial refund and so I brought that up to them. They refused me again, and what a coincidence that their policy has removed that portion from the website now. I'm highly disappointed that they would take people for their money like this when I'm now needing to save what I can while job searching. Thanks Play Mile High. I can tell you care.... read more

I wrote another review on their Facebook page that explains my poor rating.. But end all be all, scheduling mishaps, NO ALCOHOL on premises during a sand volley ball league, and advertised we would be playing at the big wonderful. You would assume beer and music would be a part of that especially for a non competitive "fun"league.. They have a long way to go before they convince me to ever so another league with them . Especially when my team with 11 ppl on it (6 man playing at time ) had to pay 65$ for the season and you play for about 40 minutes!!! BOGUS and not worth the money read more

Although playing in a league is fun this is not very well organized. The refs arent always up to par and they couldnt even record the correct wins vs losses for the overall standings for the playoffs. A great idea but the management could be better. read more

I loved this league. It is the best league I have played for by far and I have played for 5 different leagues in the Denver area. It's nice that it doesn't matter how much you win/lose by. That makes it less competitive. I also love that going to the bar after and playing flip-cup is all part of the league and you get points for it. It makes it very social. read more

A logistics nightmare. I received poor customer service. I felt like they value their policy more than they value my business. This was my second negative experience with Play Mile High and they would not work with me when a change was made that I didn't approve. At least they did not hesitate to offer me a refund. read more

This is just the best idea and Elliott is super organized. The events he plans are good for organizations or individuals. I am having a blast with kickball! Right now I am just doing it on my own but I am trying to get my coworkers involved for the summer. It's just a FUN way to meet people! read more

Preeetty unorganized and you don't actually get the drink deals you're promised at the bar after games. Not a huge deal but schedules are always messed up and they also forgot a shirt for one of the players on our team and wouldn't bring him one despite it being paid for. Lame! I think you're better off getting friends together to play games on your own! read more

Not worth the money. Did the co-Ed basketball. Games were supposed to be at Colorado athletic club. They sent an email saying games would be at YMCA or DCIS and we were "lucky" they were sharing their courts with us. (We're "lucky" yet wepaid $115 to play, haha.) Did give everyone the option to get their money back. What they didn't say was neither the YMCA OR DCIS had a full court. YMCA has a roof so you can't shoot from the corner. The out of bounds for DCIS is "the chairs" where people are sitting. Some refs were cool others were whack. Not organized. Even the beer "deal" was whack. Overall not a great league. Don't recommend it. read more
