Plan to get here maybe 5 min earlier than planned because it'll take some time to find parking. After parking, the experience goes uphill. There are lots of tables available with plenty of space in between. I mean, you'll need common etiquette, but besides that, there are lots of tables for you to choose from. The employees are very nice about setting you up and lighting up the table that you want. They are very accommodating and flexible. There are leagues here as well if you think about making a commitment. Cost seemed appropriate for the quality of the equipment. It was about $20 an hour for a party of 2. So if you split it with a friend, that's about $20 for 2 hours of playtime. The table I used and the spare sticks available seemed to be in good condition. They also serve beer and have sports games along the edges of the shop. There are also stools and small tables available. If you feel like taking a break or not even playing pool at all, it seems like a good place to hang, catch up or watch some sports.

I found sharkyspooltables.com in the depths of the internet and in fact I don't even remember how I came across their site. When I called a guy named Benny picked up, it seems he runs their southern California branch. He was very knowledgable about any questions I had concerning quality and space constraints. The next day I placed my order, an 8' x 4' imperial eliminator pool table with burgundy felt. I had an appointment for them to come out on friday, but unfortunately due to traffic they could not come out because the distribution center was already closed. I was a little bummed, I really wanted to play pool with my friends that weekend. Benny was very understanding and because they could not keep their initial delivery promise, he included a black naugahyde cover for only $20 (Instead of $65). Not only that but they were able to come the following monday and work after hours so I didn't have to get off work early again. They arrived, a older gentleman by the name of Freddy came with another guy (sorry I don't remember his name). When putting together the pool table, they took extra care in bringing each part to my back patio, put moving towels underneath so none of the pieces could get scratched on the concrete. Freddy was a master, apparently he has been building and putting together pool tables for over 20 years. Every measurement, every cut, every movement was carefully measured to ensure it was a solid build and was balanced correctly. They were there for a total of 4 hours, but I didn't mind and in fact it was a pleasure watching the masters at work. Once they were done it was around 9PM, they asked me if I had any questions or concerns. I tested the pool table and it was completely flawless, no scuffs, no scratches, the felt was tight, they did an excellent job. Freddy told me if anything didn't seem right I could always call them and they would come down and take a look, these guys were pros. I would recommend Sharkys Pool Tables to anyone.

We got the 8 foot Balboa in mahogany (with burgundy felt) delivered yesterday and I couldn't be happier, especially since I ordered the table...the day before. That's next day delivery folks! The quality and craftsmanship of the table is fantastic. Just a note: their prices are for the table ONLY, it's extra if you want delivery and all the accessories (balls, sticks, bridge, racks, chalk, etc.). But the extra price is worth every penny because you can't put a pool table together yourself, you need a professional to do that (it takes about 2.5 hours for the professionals.) And Sharky's delivery guys are GREAT! They did a fantastic job setting up the table, leveling it in my completely uneven garage and five minutes after I left I was shooting pool. You can't go wrong with these guys. Highly recommend!
