Was looking for a cigar for a friends birthday and thankfully The Humidor was en route to the party. After all of the great reviews and even a bad one that complained about the parking (not the stores fault) I stopped by and picked up some smokes. The shop is big and the only two things bigger were the private club side and the selection in the Humidor. I found a couple of great Monte Cristo sticks for the party. I discovered The Humidor about two weeks ago, and I'm glad I did. The selection of cigars is absolutely incredible, with a variety that's hard to find anywhere else. Whether you're a seasoned cigar enthusiast or just getting into the hobby, there's something for everyone. My new favorite cigar is the Eye of the Shark by Arturo Fuente, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they were fully stocked with it. It's not always easy to find some of the more sought-after cigars, but The Humidor seems to do a great job keeping premium selections available. They also carry all of the brands I love, including Cohiba, AVO, and Arturo Fuente. The humidor is well organized, the cigars are kept in excellent condition, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable. I was in the neighborhood so decided to stop in. Interestingly saw a couple of friends I knew so hung out for a while. This place is top notch. A wide variety of premium cigars, great atmosphere, good ventilation and very cool owners. Located in the strip mall on Balboa and San Fernando Mission Blvd, check out the walk in humidor and cigar accessories. There is inside and outdoor seating available for customers and a private area with lockers for members. There are several flatscreens throughout and non alcoholic beverages to purchase. The Humidor is a great spot conveniently located right off the 118 near the 405/5 and run by three great owners who care about the cigars they purvey and the experience their customers have. You'll see people from all walks of life--some who regularly pop in to grab a stick and leave, others who are regulars and/or hang out everyday. The members lounge is a nice size (they're currently expanding/refreshing a bit), with plenty of leather armchairs, tons of TVs, lighters and ash trays. This place has some awesome cigars. I dont smoke but like to give them to my clients. They always saya wow where did you get this. However there is Never any parking it's always packed. I tried to park at the thai food restaurant.. the owner yelled at me and said I'm sick and tired of cigar shop customers parking here. They park for hours you need to move. I saw someone parked in handicap who isn't handicapped they didn't have the place card. Also along the side wall cars where parked making hard to get in and out without hitting someone. I gave it 3 stars because the parking his terrible and I felt it was rude for someone to yell at me about this terrible parking lot. My other reason people shouldn't park in handicap if they are not. This falls back on the owners control the parking they are your customers right? read more

My first time going to a cigar shop and I have to say that it was an outstanding experience. The owner Kevin greeted me and was very welcoming, he helped me out, and his customer service went above and beyond. I told him I'm new to the cigar world, so he was able to help me out with any questions I had. It was really nice for him to help me out and make good recommendations. I originally was going into buy one box of one type of cigars. But he recommended I should try that brand but to try a variety of said brand, essentially a sampler which was a fantastic idea. He saved me money and I came out with a variety of cigars. I also picked up a really cool Colibri cutter that caught my eye. This shop also has a rewards program, and if you spend a certain amount you get a discount, which in my opinion is ingenious ! This shop also has 2 areas where you can smoke cigars. One area is for members and it is very nice and spacious. Lastly he even threw it a small boveda pack to go in the box, be kind always goes a long way. I came in with my boss and both of us were happy with the friendliness and welcoming environment that was provided. We had to go but the owner asked if we wanted to stay and enjoy the cigar. Great spot with a wonderful crowd. A huge selection of cigars and accessories. They have two rooms, one for members if you sign up and the other one for regular customers. I have to say both are similar but the benefits and discounts are greater when you are a member. Peter was an awesome guy and helped me with my selection. Rooms are well ventalized. I enjoyed smoking a stogie for an hour and net some nice people. I would definitely go back, buy their well maintained cigars, and enjoy one at one of their comfortable seats. read more

Walked into the Humidor just before closing to get a couple cigars for a stocking stuffer and Peter addressed me with a welcome hello as soon as I walked in. I was recommended to this place by a friend. As soon as I walked in.. I really liked the atmosphere. Dodger game on the tv. Lots of chairs and guys smoking and watching the game.. I was greeted by kelvin. Really nice guy. Very helpful and informative.. we went into the humidor room which was amazing and loaded with a lot of Different cigars. I told him what I was looking for and he recommended, a couple of options to me. After about 10-15 Mins, I made my choices and went to pay.. They have a private lounge, bunch of big screen TVs a little too bright. And you get only 10% off on your purchases. Overall, they mean business. They have to make money rightfully so with all the high overhead. For a good smoke you may end up spending $30 to $60. If you want to spend an hour or so relaxing drinking coffee smoking a world class delightful cigar away from home, then this is your place. read more

I went in this place the other day for the first time. Told the guy it was my first time there.. he just said "there the humidor".. and walked off. I spent 15 minutes in the humidor and not once did anyone come in to ask me any question etc.. when I walked out with two sticks I had to wait a few minutes for him to check me out. Not once did he tell me anything about the place...membership nothing.. they had what looked like a big members lounge but who knows.... Only go back in a pinch. I can buy 4 cigars from my online source for the price of two here.... No thanks. Another strike on our local cigar lounges. Very knowledgeable and made great recommendations to add to my collection. He also gave me a tour of their members only lounge area. Plenty of seating, plenty of TVs, nice lounge setting.
