Great food, staff is always respectful. This is a family favorite. It's always clean, we haven't had a negative experience.

Absolutely horrible customer service and food is overpriced and if they mess up on your food, nothing will be done about it.

The restaurant itself isn't that big but the guy behind the counter was full of life and energy and the place has a nice vibe. You go up to the counter to order and they have several different sausage options including vegan. Since it was my inaugural visit I went with the Old School famous dog and some Sweet Onion Maui chips. The sausage link was really tasty and it had an assortment of toppings on it along with it being in a fancy hot dog shaped dish. My only complaint is The serving dish. it's A substantial sized entree and difficult to pick up so you have to eat it with a knife and fork and it's difficult to maneuver in the hot dog shaped tray. Someone In our group got the wagyu jerky and shared with us. And as a side note I don't think that was very successful as it didn't really taste like much of anything. And when I think of wagyu, I want a nice fatty piece of meat, not a dried out chunk of shoe leather.

Well, I recently decided to finally put that can in the recycling bin and actually make it over to Wiener Kitchen....and...OH MY GOD IT'S AMAZING!!!! Why have I wasted so many weeks of my life not knowing how delicious the food is here? When the staff realized it was my first visit, they gave me the entire rundown of the food cooked onsite and the fact that you can also purchase their meats to cook yourself at home. It's a pretty small area for eating, but that won't stop me from coming back again and again because I can't believe how much I enjoyed the Chorizo Rojo and the Jalapeno Cheddar Kielbasa! I also had the Chicken Apple which was good, but the other two were the stars of my tastebuds. I'm sure to be back over and over as Wiener Kitchen is officially added to the rotation of frequented restaurants in my repertoire...and you should add it to yours too! The menu is not large, but clearly what they do, they are doing very, very well. Burgers, dogs, wraps, & salads are there for the choosing along with a great lineup of local beer. They even have their own label (Hank's Lager) if you are up to sample house goodies! But speaking of house goodies, it's the burgers. The 'variations' are slim (like 2 or 3), but the El Reno (shoutout to Oklahoma) comes with those fabulous grilled onions as a supporting cast. The OG Hank's burger is not to be missed, what with the sharp American cheese & special sauce on a brioche bun. Both of those are simply hunger killers, because they taste as good as they look and they're fairly huge in portion size. The house special sauce has a little horseradish wayyyyyy in the flavor background, only noticeable if you're looking for it, and the sauce is outstanding when paired with the burg. Pro tip: get the sauce on the side and get your dunk on. Burgers come with a side and run $15, which is a price point well below the value. Ice cold beer flows on tap (buy local!) or in cans & bottles, and they even do a few wines & house-created cocktails. The airy, open layout makes it a three-season spot and the 'yard' is inviting for anyone who enjoys their eats & dranks au naturel. Wonderful service (Autumn is THE nicest) and plenty of seating - get yourself there.

My son & I wanted to try a hot dog spot & Ding Dong Dogs came up. The cashier was pretty chill. We later found out that she was new. She was very informative though. You can get your hot dog grilled, fried, off of the roller grilled, or boiled. Also they have gluten free buns and impossible hot dogs so bring your friends with dietary differences. We got several hot dogs and sides. The 50/50 was seasoned well enough that I didn't even need condiments. I really enjoyed the chili though and the mac and cheese. Everything was so delicious. We'll be back.

They happened to be mopping with a strong ammonia odor, so that set the stage a bit awkwardly as we navigated our first time in. There's no kids menu (which is fine, it's by a college campus so likely nomt their demographic) but we got an original one with nothing on it and tots. As another reviewer mentioned, apparently you get the choice of grilled, fried, boiled, or off the roller -- we weren't asked and ended up with grilled. The tots were phenomenal, some of the best I've had, and I kept poaching them when she wasn't looking. I hope the biz owners know my intentions are very much in a spirit of offering constructive feedback, with hopes of coming back in, and not malicious at all here. Here are a few more things that were off that are worth calling out: -Vibes were a bit weird inside. The ammonia smell, tables dirty. My daughter went to get a water and saw cups and asked me if she could grab one, I gave a thumbs up from across the room -- turned out to be wine glasses! So she's loading up waters for the table in wine glasses, and a minor miracle we didn't end up breaking one. Kind of random to be set by the fountain machine. -The drinking fountain was out of order and it was pretty dirty back by the bathroom -Service was neutral at best, not really walking us thru anything and sort of half-hearted about it -The dog was kinda small for seven bucks What was fun though was the foosball table, so that's a cool addition. Feels very college towny across the board in here. I'll keep with the idea of supporting a new neighborhood spot, but a lukewarm first impression across the board.
