There isn't any reason for this so I assume he treats everyone that way. Today it was enough to ruin my appetite for this place so I spun around and went next door where I got the service one would expect. The owners need to be aware. I would have been a long term customer who would have brought coworkers and customers with me. Now I tell stories of the unfriendly experience and they should go next door. I always order the BYO Build Your Own bowl since I can make sure I don't accidentally get a wrong ingredient. I ordered a smoothie and a few of the little treats, those are normally my favorite. The smoothie tasted good and I shared it was my little girl. The treats were okay. The peanut butter and the express yo self both tasted pretty fresh. The brownie batter had a really sour flavor. I will have to give this place another try in the future, something was definitely off today.

I got the purple punch smoothie and the flavor was okay, it was made with ice and consisted of a BUNCH of little chunks of ice that kept getting stuck in the straw. The ice really took away from the natural flavors of the smoothie, as it just watered it down in my mouth. Everything was quite expensive too, which was a bummer. Putting ice in smoothies really takes away from actual fruit volume, on top of taking away from the flavor. The juice was made with a centrifugal juicer, which leaves you with less nutrients than a cold-pressed juicer, and that was another factor that made me feel the menu was overpriced. Still pricey, but the smoothie bowl was actually really yummy and a decent size! Service was good, and the girl working there got our order ready in a fair amount of time. Overall, I think this spot has a lot of potential, but it's lacking in some areas for true nutritional value. It's definitely better than something like Smoothie King, but it's not as healthy as it could be!!
