Had a wasted trip to NSB to find the business we drove to closed. Looked up a coffee shop nearby in hopes of making something to the trip and gladly found this place. This was much better than coffee as it was a nutrition shop with protein shakes, meal replacements, and energy drinks. Tbh I don't even like coffee. I just wanted to get a cool drink or smoothie and that's what I got here. The persons working were very nice and helpful. The flavors are fun whether you're getting a shake or a drink. I got a sour patch with boba and loved every bit. I was able to split it into 2 days which was cool. My bf got I think a cookie shake which he loved and was very happy with the caloric content. The prices aren't super cheap but I didn't feel like I was getting robbed. I wish this was closer I'd definitely stop by on occasion

I keep it simple with an iced Americano, black, and they get it right every time. Smooth, bold, and exactly what I need to power through the rest of the day. One of the coolest touches is that their ice is actually frozen coffee, so your drink never gets watered down. I usually grab a sandwich while I'm there too, and I've worked my way through most of them. They're not over-the-top or especially bold in flavor, but they're clearly homemade with clean, straightforward ingredients, which I appreciate. The roast beef is my usual go-to, more for its reliability than anything flashy. Overall, it's a dependable spot for good coffee and a simple, satisfying bite in the middle of a busy day.

I love that they roast the coffee fresh right in the store. They have mostly outdoor seating, but we were able to snag one of the few indoor tables both days. We ordered coffees at the coffee bar and breakfast sandwiches on the deli side. They use coffee ice cubes in the iced drinks which is such a game changer in the Florida heat! Loved our coffees and sandwiches. The one day I had a bagel sammie and the other an egg and cheese wrap. Delicious and only takes a few mins to make. I will be honest that the service was not very friendly either of the visits, but the coffee is so good we knew we'd still be back!

SLEEK AND WELCOMING DECOR We drove straight out. Thankfully, it was early enough in the day so we easily got a spot on Flagler Ave. and walked over. What a cute place! There was one small table outside with adorable mosaics on the table and seats. It was pretty small and honestly we were too hot to sit there today but it is an option. There is more plentiful seating inside the modernly designed interior. The decor was clean and beautiful. The counters are grey and white granit(?) with beautiful pottery adorning the white shelving on one side along with some attractive paintings on the same wall. Turns out the pottery and paintings are by artistic individuals with autism. The artist who makes the pottery is also the owner's daughter, Katherine aka Kat, thus the name of the cafe. She is the Kat who also plays harp for guests if you are lucky enough to be there then. We unfortunately missed Kat but thoroughly enjoyed being waited on by Donna behind the counter! She knew her stuff and was able to guide us through the ordering of our food and drink. I enjoyed my cold brew with crème and hazelnut AND coffee ice cubes-so no watering down of the coffee!

It is a bit on the messy side, but that's to be expected with a well-stuffed breakfast burrito. My only issue with the food was the breakfast potatoes--they were noticeably undercooked and still had a raw crunch to them. The coffee was fantastic and came out quickly, which was a nice surprise. The service was also impressive. Despite working behind a very small counter, the team moved efficiently and kept everything flowing smoothly. The one thing that gave me pause was how the coffee was served. It came out without lids, and while customers were leaning over to grab their food, they were talking directly above the uncovered cups. I'm sure no one intended anything by it, but from a guest's perspective it wasn't the best look and raised a small hygiene concern. A simple change, like placing the coffee on one side and food on the other would be a much better aesthetic. Overall, Luma delivers great food, excellent coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a small tweak to the coffee service and a little more attention to the breakfast potatoes, this would easily be one of my favorite breakfast spots on Flagler Avenue.

That said, the food matches up with outstanding food experience in taste, presentation and overall culinary offerings!! I missed photos of our starters; Soup of the Day - Crab and Corn Chowder and Potato Latke. The chowder had great flavor and plenty of vegetables and crab with each bite. The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. The three girls that were working were so loud talking amongst each other was over stimulating I couldn't even concentrate to place my order. Then they turned on music and began to sing. I enjoy music as much as the next person. I'd rather of heard alley cats than what I was experiencing today. It's very echoing inside. Not the previous pleasant calming experiences as before. Had to leave and eat in my car instead of enjoying the prior experience. Maybe the new owner could figure something out. The product was still really good though. Update: Wow I drove up the street to eat my bowl in peace, a police officer came up to me and said there was a call about a suspicious person (meaning me) because I walked back inside after I received my order to look at the menu to make sure it was correct because of the ruckus and walked back out. Update again: I didn't say the music was on while ordering that came on after the fact. I was going to sit and enjoy my bowl but the music was too loud. There wasn't anyone else but myself in there when I was ordering. The employee girls were loud amongst themselves. The customers you mentioned were there when I walked back in to check the menu and I walked back outside. Nothing suspicious about that. I ordered a smoothie and a few of the little treats, those are normally my favorite. The smoothie tasted good and I shared it was my little girl. The treats were okay. The peanut butter and the express yo self both tasted pretty fresh. The brownie batter had a really sour flavor. I will have to give this place another try in the future, something was definitely off today.
